Villa Lavander is perfectly located on a hill with fabulous views over the harbour of this quiet Dalmatian village, and of the lush countryside around. It is in a quiet neighbourhood just a 200m walk to the nearest beach and 150m to centre of the village where you can enjoy dining by the harbour and relax at the village cafe bars. The house comprises 4 private apartments and has private parking for 4 cars.

Down 2 flights of stairs from street level is Apartment 4 on the lowest level. This tastefully furnished apartment has an open plan living dining kitchen room that leads onto a large dining terrace with a stunning view over the village and bay..

Sleeping is in a double bedroom and a twin bedroom with 2 single beds and sofabed in the living room. It has a shower room

The whole house is surrounded by Mediterranean gardens but each apartment has its own private terrace or balcony for outdoors eating. The house has free WiFi/Internet connection.

Splitska is located 6km east from main town of the island, Supetar, it is easy accessible by car and daily connected by bus.

Getting to Brac: Take the 50 minute car ferry from Split harbour. Split harbour is 20 kilometres from Split airport. The crossing takes about 50 minutes. The cost per person is approx 5 Euro.

Getting to the Property: You will checkin at the office of Dalmatian Property Management in Supetar. The office is 200 m from the ferry port. We will supply you with photo directions how to get to the apartment. And will give you information about the region, supermarkets, restaurants and cultural events you might visit during your stay. You will feel completely looked after. And in a case you need anything else DPM personnel will be happy to help.

Relaxing stay

We had a relaxing week at Villa Lavender in July this year. The apartment was clean and neat with everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen has a hob with two rings and a large fridge freezer. There isn't an oven but the ktichen is ample for a quick supper after a day at the beach or for a simple lunch. The terrace is private and nice for eating outside at breakfast or in the evenings.

The harbour beneath the villa has a couple of nice restaurants and bars which are fairly busy in the evenings but not too loud and the food was on the whole good local fare served with a smile.

I would recommend Villa Lavender but you do need a car to get around the island and for exploring the many good swimming spots along the coast line. Also the driveway is very steep but manageable once you get used to it!

very nice place, HIGH QUALITY of service

I have made reservation for my boss which is very demanding regarding places for vacations. After his back I have received information that everything was fine, apartment was clean and nice, city with character of small sweet village.

Regarding whole organization I’m very appreciate for Branka’s job.

Das Appartement ist ganz nett eingerichtet, die Lage ist auch sehr gut. Aber - der Aufenthalt war alles andere als schön. Grund - es gibt keine Schall Isolierung zum Apartment darüber. Man hört jeden Schritt und insbesondere das rücken von Stühlen wird uns in bleibender Erinnerung sein- dies gerne bis 1:00 nachts. Da das Appartement darüber sehr groß ist, ist es natürlich wie gemacht für große Gruppen - natürlich auch junger Leute. Weder eine Beschwerde bei denen, noch bei der Agentur hat was genützt. Sehr sehr schade, hat uns den Urlaub auf der schönen Insel vermiest.

Nicht zu empfehlen.

Owner's Response: Es tut uns sehr leid, dass die Gäste über dieser Wohnung so laut und rücksichtslos waren. Wir haben dieses Haus Villa Lavanda seit 9 Jahren vermietet und dies ist das erste Mal, dass ein Gast diese Art von Beschwerde gemacht hat. Aber wir werden mit dem Besitzer reden das er die Teppichen installiert damit es hilft und um zu verhindern, dass dieses Problem wieder passiert. We are very sorry that the guests above this apartment were so noisy and inconsiderate. We have been renting Villa Lavanda for 9 years and this is the first time a guest has made this type of complaint. But we will check with the owner about installing rugs in the living room to help prevent this problem happening again.

wonderful place to relax

In August 2014 we spent two weeks on Brac in this nice apartment. We travelled there as four young german adults and wanted to have relaxing holidays and Vila Lavander gave us the perfect opportunity to spend nice evenings on the terrace having barbecue or a glass of wine and a good base to travel around the island. The apartment was tidy, not noisy and a perfect domicile for people of every age who want to relax and enjoy Brac.

Splitska is a quaint seaside village set round a very pretty palm lined harbour. Around the harbour are traditional old stone houses, all nicely renovated, and on the harbour are restaurants and cafe bars.

Splitska has 2 main beaches - Zastup beach is a wide pebbly bay set a little outside the village, the other is in the village centre and is stone covered with a concrete sunbathing platform. And there are rocky beaches set amoungst the trees around the village also.

Come in the high season of July and August and you’ll find Splitska vibrant with life with holidaymakers from all over Europe. Eat out at the different restaurants in the village and sample the friendly bars and cafes. Or, just 50 minutes from Splitska by car, you can visit the beautiful beach resort named Bol, very famous for its beach phenomenon called Zlatni Rat.

Alternatively take a 50-minute ferry ride to Split and wander through the 1700 year old alleyways of the Diocleceans Palace, do some designer brand name shopping, or just promenade along the elegant palm tree lined Riva eating an ice cream!

For a quiet holiday come in June or September. If walking is your thing, there’s plenty of lovely coastal and inland walks with many beautiful old stone villages to explore.
