Central London holiday apartment set in the heart of the romantic SHAD THAMES district (QUEEN ELIZABETH STREET SE1) just ONE MINUTE'S walk to The River Thames & Tower Bridge. These comfortable yet simple apartments are set over-looking Queen Elizabeth Street. It benefits from a bright aspect and large private roof terraces. The apartment provides comfort for vacation or business travellers.Very suitable for families with plentiful lounge and dining seating. The kitchen is fully equipped and features a washing machine and dishwasher. High ceilings and tall windows provide a light environment. In addition to the two double beds in the bedroom; the sofa beds in the lounge area are perfectly suitable for 2 adults. The lounge area is completely separate from the bedroom with their full king size beds. This ensures sleeping privacy if required. 8 minutes walk to Tube station.

A One bedroom apartment. This is complete with 2 king size double beds in the bedroom. 1 sofa beds in the lounge. Sleeps 5 persons maximum. 800 square feet. Great for families sharing.

Many holiday apartments advertise that they are situated on the South Bank, when actually they are 10-20 minutes from the river. Our apartments really do have the river and Bank-side right on the doorstep,

About Neil Brown

We are a family run business. We have just two apartments, and both are within the stunning Circle Apartment building. We are not a large business with multiple apartments. Having just two units allows us to offer a very personal approach for our guests. We handle all our own bookings, and will be the single point of contact. We do not use agents.

Great location, roomy apartment, basically clean, smell of mold in bathroom and washee

I have very mixed feelings about this review. Generally we were very pleased with the apartment, lots of space, good selection of dishware, cookware, etc. Bed was somewhat hard. Apartment was clean upon arrival. The main problem we had was the smell of mold in the bathroom which worsened over the course of our 5 day stay. Additionally, the washer smelled very funky making it unusable. We had hoped to be able to wash some clothes prior to our 12 day cruise but ended up having to wash them by hand in the kitchen sink. The apartment needs some TLC as it had some peeling paint. This made me sad because otherwise I was generally pleased with the apartment. I loved having to walk over Tower Bridge by the Tower of London everyday on our trip to the Underground - a highlight of our 5 day trip to Europe. I think if the apartment is "spruced up" a bit and the mold smell and smelly washer are addressed, this would definitely receive a 5 star review from me. It has GREAT potential!

Good location, but sink did not work

The location was wonderful, near the tower bridge. A lovely quiet street with 24 hour concierge service. the staff there were very helpful with calling for taxis, etc. our issues were with the apartment itself. The very first minute after walking in, my son declared he will brush his teeth and the sink (basin) in the bathroom clogged. the owner/manager responded immediately via email that he will get it checked with that day or the next. but in a 2 1/2 day trip with a 73 year old mother, a huge amount of time was spent in trying to brush our teeth and wash our faces leaning into the tub. Very inconvenient. I agree issues like these happen (something the manager kept repeating-he then even suggested that we can leave and vacate if waiting till the next day was not acceptable), but I fail to understand how a cleaning person could not have noticed this issue 2 hours prior to us facing it. there was 1 single roll of toilet paper for use. when asked, we are told that it is a no-frill service, additional cost for cleaning services will be incurred for additional toilet paper!! I think for a stay of 3 days for 5 people, more than 1 toilet paper roll would not be considered a frill. its not about the cost of buying some from the nearby convenience store, its the 'inconvenience' of it.

Owner's Response: We don't dispute the issue regarding the blocked sink. Nor the limited supplies of toilet roll. We make no apologies for the latter, but we were sorry for the inconvenience regarding the blocked sink. We acted as quickly as possible. This guest was belligerent and demanding. MORE IMPORTANTLY, this guest left the apartment in a disgraceful state. Our housekeeper, who has worked for us for many years, referred to the condition as "FILTHY". We have left an earlier review of this guest with all 1 star ratings.

Clean and functional.

Family spent 3 nights here. Apartment is located very close to Tower Bridge. There are 2 double beds in one room which u can seperate with a screen for privacy, and also a sofa bed in the living room area. Ok for families, but maybe not if ur going with another couple. For us it was fine. Would stay again, and would definitely recommend.
