There are many walking paths from Casa Rondini . You can walk to Monte Arale and admire amazing views towards other medieval towns - Monteleone, Citta della Pieve and Parrano. If you like you walk even longer you can carry on to Greppolischieto – little medieval hamlet restored in the late 80s by Anna Fendi well known Italian fashion designer. Is a charming place and the view is fantastic. You can see Lake Trasimeno from there. If you happen to be there in late August and early September you can fill yourself with delicious blackberries. Other lovely walk is to Castel di Fiori. Is a good walk on the sunny days as you go mainly through the forest. Every year in August Castel di Fiori organise a week of Festa with food, dancing and stars watching. From there you can carry on your walk to Castellieri – enclosure turned to fortification since the bronze age and re-used in the Middle ages where some Roman tombs have also been found.

Amazing Place!

  • 5 of 5

Wow, where to start is extremely difficult!

Our time at Casa Rondini was just fantastic with Franco and Bozena being the perfect hosts!! From a cultural point of view they gave excellent advice on where to go, what to look out for and indeed when best to travel supported by time tables and maps etc. Everywhere we visited was breathtakingly beautiful matched by the delicious Umbrian food and wine.

Because we had our dog with us, Franco very kindly offered us the Casale which was separate from the pool & apartments area. Our kitchen was really well equipped and there's a well stocked supermarket(Co-Op)just 5 minutes drive away. We also had our very own decking area for sun bathing and relaxing after a busy day sightseeing. The pool is lovely and way bigger than we expected, plenty of loungers, mats and pool toys to indulge in while cooling off. To say we fell in love with Casa Rondini is an understatement, we would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking to have a real mix of culture, relaxation and fun! The cooking evenings were a real highlight, Franco's cooking nights were great fun, the food was delicious, the wine was excellent and his own home made lemonchello was perfecto!!!

Tranquil, stunning, perfect

  • 5 of 5

Absolutely loved this Casale in Umbria. Franco and Bozena are wonderful hosts, nothing is too much trouble. We picked fresh fruit off the trees, had fresh garlic from the garden and fresh eggs too. Very peaceful, get away from it all place. The swimming pool is beautiful and unusually large. Franco and bozena host some cooking nights, which is a really lovely social evening getting to know your fellow holiday makers and Franco and Bozeno's neighbours. We had in upstairs apartment, which not only gave us stunning views, but with two terraces, the option to sit in the shade or not. Loved it and will be coming back for sure.

Wonderful location. Comfortable rooms, fabulous views and workable kitchen.

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful 4 days. Our hosts were warm and friendly and provided help and tips for places to visit and places to eat. The kitchen had any basics that we would need. We purchased olive oil and jam from their cellar and were able to pick a head of lettuce from their garden. Our hosts could not have been nicer. We loved our stay!

A memorable experience

  • 5 of 5

The apartment was perfect, just as described, and the owners were so kind and helpful. After being in small rooms in Rome and Sorrento my husband and I loved all the space in the apartment. My husband especially loved going out every morning and getting fresh eggs to cook for our breakfast. The location was perfect for day trips to other towns. But you definitely want to get back in time for the wonderful dinners offered by Franco and Bozena! We hope to return in the not too distant future.

Our family loved this place

  • 5 of 5

Our family enjoyed staying at this farm where we received a warm welcome and cozy impeccably clean bedrooms full of sunlight. We enjoyed , farm-grown eggs, fruits, and vegetables, and were impressed by a beautiful view of Italian landscapes and famous Montepulciano situated on the top of a hill. We liked the owners very much and decided to come back next time with friends as the farm is conveniently located near Perugia, Orvieto, and even Rome (which can be reached by train).

Outstanding Stay In The Countryside

  • 5 of 5

We totally loved our stay at Casa Regina and can't wait to come back. Franco and Beziana were wonderful hosts. Their English is impeccable and they are appropriately proud of their little slice of countryside in Umbria.

This is a great base for day trips and less than two hours from the Rome airport.

We strongly encourage that you consider experiencing Casa Regina. You will not be disappointed!
