Great place, good location, very safe.
Having never stayed in NYC before, I have nothing to compare. It was roomy, clean and great value for money for NYC.
Central Park being 6 blocks away meant we could do a daily walk through the park. 2 Subway lines within walking distance meant we could get around town easily.
Would stay again for sure.
Feel like a New Yorker
Such a terrific place to stay. Place spotless on arrival, easy instructions, great location. The place is a typical NYC apartment and looking out in the morning made me feel like part of the city. We needed the aircon while we were here as it was very hot. There is one in each room and they worked well. Plenty of towels for the 3 of us for a 6 days stay. Lots of crockery etc if you want to eat in. The place was very quiet. I would definetly stay here again. We are 1A 2C. You could sleep up to 4.
First trip to New York
Great place to stay. Took my grandson and there is a great local park just down the street. Felt safe and secure enough for us to wander around at night. Convenient to subway and bus lines. We had a wonderful time.
This was a wonderful place to stay. It was simple, clean and lovely. Well-situated to the subway, about a 6 minute walk and then 3 stops to Times Square. Good bus service as well (we took the bus to the Cloisters), and an easy to walk up to Central Park. You really DO feel like you're living like a New Yorker. Plus, you know, the Upper East Side makes it even better. :-) Always felt very safe walking, even late at night. Lots of amenities in the area and Alan provides a wealth of information - suggestions for restaurants (and ones to avoid!) as well grocery, drug stores, delis. I've been to NYC many times and stayed in other VRBOs with my friends. This was my first time booking one myself and would not hesitate to recommend this one, and would stay there again. Thank you for helping to make this such a great time!
Enjoy like a tourist, live like a local👍
We truly lived like a New Yorker 👍. Great neighborhood, friendly restaurants and bars everything you need, so much better than staying in a hotel. Live the experience 🤗 enjoy life . Apartment is roomy and clean. Plenty of drawers, and the hallway with the full length mirror plus a tall chest of drawers made a great place to put on make up, and do hair without tying up the bathroom. The 3 flights of stairs may be tough for some, (and us at the end of a long day)we did fine. I am 78 and my husband 83. If you are fit it is great exercise to burn off the extra food and drink😀 Small kitchen has everything you Small well equipped kitchen if you want to cook.
Quiet building we never heard our neighbors.
We would definitely return.

Great location with 10 min walk to Central Park and two subway lines
Humble 4-story walk up in great neighborhood. While the interior is humble it is tidy and stocked with everything you need for an extended stay in New York. We loved the neighborhood restuarants in the area. Two Starbucks within a 5 minute walk on your way to catch the Q or 6 lines downtown definately a bonus.
