Booth Lane is a 4 season cottage that sits upon over 200 feet of private shoreline, which overlooks beautiful Faraday Trout Lake, in Bancroft, On. The cottage has recently been renovated with brand new maple kitchen cabinets, counter top, sink, and tap. Washrooms have also had a facelift with new fixtures and counter tops. In the kitchen and living room, there is new vinyl flooring and laminate wood flooring. This cottage comes equipped with a full kitchen with small and large appliances, including a Keurig coffee maker, cutlery and dishes, and pots and pans. The bathroom is equipped with a shower and tub combo. We provide an Amazon Firestick with Disney +, Amazon Prime streaming services, a TV, and a DVD player with your rental. For you and your guests' enjoyment, the cottage comes equipped with a rowboat and paddleboat. Cottage offers a lovely private beach with great swimming with no weeds and a clean, clear waterfront. Just outside the sunroom, there is a private patio with propane BBQ. Life jackets or (PFD's) are available for adults in limited sizes. On the beach is a firepit where you and your family can enjoy having a campfire and roasting marshmallows.
General Area
Located on private lakefront property on Faraday Lake, which is about 4.9 miles from Bancroft. The shoreline is composed of sandy beach and rocky, picturesque areas. We are very particular about keeping both the interior and exterior areas clean, safe, and updated for all ages. Each cottage is completely private, with natural woodland surrounding each one.

Equipment Provided
Each cottage is fully equipped with modern indoor plumbing, hot and cold running water, and showers. All cottages feature a colour TV, AM/FM radio, Keurig coffee maker, microwave, as well as a conventional cooking stove and fridge. Our cottages contain either wood burning stoves or electrical heaters. There is a propane Bar-B-Q for each cottage. All cottages come equipped with their own aluminum or fiberglass rowboat and dock. There is one paddleboat to be shared by guests. Campfires can be arranged at a safe outdoor pit near the shoreline (provincial restrictions may apply).

This reservation has a Flexible cancellation policy - refunds will be issued up to 30 days prior to the check-in date.
A 100% refund is provided for travelers canceling at least 30 days before check-in. A 50% refund is provided for travelers canceling from 14 to 29 days before check-in. Cottage at Faraday

My family and friend's had a really great stay. I loved that there were different 3 different lounge area's to hangout and how spacious the house is. Definitely recommend this cottage.

Beautiful weekend in Bancroft

First off, the pictures do not do justice for how bright and spacious the property is! My group chose this location as it is an hour from Algonquin park where we went hiking on the weekend. The fall colours were beautiful from any spot on the property. The cottage was well equipped with most basic items, due to COVID we had to bring all our own bedding. The hosts were able to answer any messages within an hour or so. Overall we had an enjoyable stay and would recommend this hidden gem any time.

Beautiful cottage with amazing views

The cottage was amazing with beautiful views out the windows looking out to the lake and at night seeing all the stars! stayed the weekend here with my girlfriend, now fiancé! I proposed on the private little beach they have with an amazing view behind us! Best cottage we’ve been to by far and will be booking again in the future!

Our family has been renting out our cottages for more then 20 years. We have implemented strict cleaning procedures of disinfecting the cottages between rentals. We provide mattress pads on all beds to keep our guests safe. We try to be on the property when our guests arrive and depart to ensure every guest has a good experience on our property.

Booth Lane offers tunning lakeviews from the sunroom, kitchen, and bedrooms. This cottage offers a cozy airtight stove in the sunroom for those cool nights and the cottage has its own furnace. No need to buy water as this cottage has a well with clean drinking water. Booth Lane has its own private beach with shallow entry and a grassy area for children to run around and play. The cottage comes with a private firepit to enjoy campfires. We offer both a rowboat and paddleboat with this cottage as part of the rental.
