Lovely Villa With Fantastic Views 3 Double Bedrooms & wheelchair friendly.

My villa has breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, yet you can be in Competa with 5 to 10 mins drive, where you can wander around shops , bar and restaurants .
Leonardo is reached by a concrete rd but is still quite secluded, it has a 8x4 m pool set in a large terrace with a B,B,Q, and a covered shady area set to one end.
There are 3 double bedrooms 3 bathrooms 2 en suite, The main bedroom has french doors opening on to the terrace . It has a modern well equipped kitchen with fridge, freezer, dishwasher,microwave, washing machine and every thing you will need.
The lounge is comfortable furnished with two settees, dining table and chairs if you would like to eat indoors.
As you can see from the pictures there is privet parking behind locked gates.

I expect my guests to be kind & considerate to the villa & the things within , eg , never sit on sun beds or furniture with wet swim wear or sun tan lotion . I would hope they would treat the villa as they would their own home & leave as they found .

Lage gut - Ausstattung und Service mäßig

Das Haus mit seinen 3 Zimmern und 3 Bädern hat eine gute Lage und ist gut geschnitten. Man ist schnell in Competa und hat trotzdem seine Ruhe. Leider ist es nicht besonders liebevoll eingerichtet: Auf der Terrasse gibt es keinen Sonnenschirm, für die Sitzecke draußen gibt es für die Stühle keine Kissen, auf der Terrasse findet man nicht eine einzige Pflanze. Es wirkt alles sehr nackt. Dafür schaut man auf die Baustelle des Nachbarn, die offenbar seit Jahren nicht voran kommt. Poolreinigung erfolgte leider nur auf Anforderung, nachdem das Wasser schon grün wurde. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer und der Küche ist zweckmäßig, allerdings durften Spül- und Waschmaschine wegen Stromschwankungen nicht benutzt werden. Das Wlan funktioniert gut, in den Bädern fehlen Möglichkeiten, Handtücher aufzuhängen. Insgesamt eigentlich ein schönes Haus, leider machen die Vermieter nur das allernötigste. In vergleichbaren Häusern in Competa waren wir insgesamt einen besseren Service gewohnt.

Nice house with a great view and quiet area.

We where a family of 5 from Norway, with kids at 10, 12 and 13. Our stay last 10 days. We had some days at the house and some where we travelled around; Malaga, Nerja, Gibraltar i.e. The walk up Rio Chillar nearby Nerja was great for all of us. There is very good posibilities for hiking in the nearby mountains you see from the house. I really recommand you to go for some tops! You can walk or hire a bike :) The house is in a hill with a great view. Because of the hill it is a bit hard to walk to Competa where the closest grosery is. All our "shopping" in Competa was done with the car. The pool is nice. Because of the threes nearby some leaves falled into it, but you easily move them with the landing net. Also some wasp fell into the pool. Carl came and cleaned the pool once while we where there. We would like to have AC at all bedrooms. Now there were fans at two of them. There was not hotwater in the shower. Maybe it was not turned on? The shower was not cold, but we would like to have some warm water in it. Great to have three bathrooms! We like soft beds. One of the doublebed was hardere than the others. The barbeque was ok, but it have been ok if it was cleaned a bit before we came, especially the grate. We love to barbeque and did it several days. There is a bit of ants. So it is smart not to leave crumbs/food at the workbench. Also smart to often get up crumbs from the floor. I guess the information that is in the house about the area easily can be a bit updated. Whats up this year? What happened for several years ago is not som interesting :) Wifi have become a must for a family with 3 kids and it worked ok, but not to watch movies. Rosemary has answered very quickly to all of my questions on mail before we came, and also some we had under the stay. We were happy with our stay! There was lot of sun and the pool was used a lot.
