Sunny East Austin / Downtown Home

The house was adorable and just what we needed, and the hosts were willing to answer any questions we had.

We enjoyed our visit to Austin. Shane was a very accommodating host and had plenty of recommendations for restaurants etc in the areas. The house also had a nice calming vibe to it with the big windows, sunlight, and wind chimes outside. There were some great coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance. We had young kids with us and one recommendation I’d make is to add some thicker drapes to better block the morning light. Thanks again!

My family had such a wonderful time staying in this home for the weekend. Shane and his family are such great hosts and made our mini vacation that much better. The house has so much natural light and is in such a cool location, we enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and trying different restaurants (that Shane and his wife suggested!). Can't go wrong here!

The main room of the house,; comprising the living room, dining room and kitchen; is a beautiful open space with large windows looking out at mature trees. There are large French doors that open to a patio and a small yard. The three bedrooms are on the small side, but are perfectly adequate.

The houseeasy walking distance to the restaurants and Town Lake. The rest of Austin is easily reached by car on local roads avoiding the highway traffic.

Really beautiful home! We had a great time and enjoyed the area as well eating in several nearby restaurants that Shane recommended. Great weekend! Thanks so much.
