We are the Truzinski family and have made Paradise Valley Montana our home. We spent nearly 15 years traveling to Yellowstone National Park to photograph and hike the back country. In 2007 we bought a vacation home in Paradise Valley on the Yellowstone River. We moved to Montana permanently in 2011. We have previously lived in CA, OR, WA, and CO, and while those states have much to offer, MT captured our hearts and minds...so much so, we call this 'home'. In 2012 we decided to start a modest vacation rental business to share this magical valley with others.
My wife, Dee Dee, and I have raised two daughters, Megan and Erica. Both are attending Montana State University, Bozeman, a short hour from Paradise Valley. Our spare time is spent hiking and photographing throughout Montana with a special focus on Yellowstone wildlife photography. We know Yellowstone wildlife patterns and behaviors better than 99% of the visitors and would be willing to share our knowledge and expertise with you.

The Riverhouse is ON the Yellowstone River. Walk out your back door straight down to the banks of the Yellowstone...throw in a line and catch your dinner. It does not get any better than this.
First of all, the location of the home is gorgeous! Serene and peaceful. The home itself is very unique and charming. The guest apartment was perfect for my husband and me and our small children. The main house accommodated the rest of the family perfectly! Very clean and welcoming. There were even fresh brownies and a personal note awaiting our arrival! Hosts were super helpful and accommodating. I cannot wait to go back here!! **Make sure you check out the small gift shop next to the laundry mat in Emigrant (across from Sinclair) for awesome and affordable souvenirs!! <3
Along with Yellowstone a half hour to the south and a beautiful drive there, make sure you check out local 'villages'! There are amazing back roads and scenery you don't want to miss!!
We had a wonderful experience at The Riverhouse, this Christmas 2015. The large house accommodated our 4 families to be together for the holiday. We enjoyed the great room which included the kitchen, sitting area and room for our Christmas tree. The apartment was nice for grandparents to have a quite getaway. We enjoyed the fire pit on a cold winter night, walks by the river and even some sled riding right outside the house. It was a an amazing stay and hope to return for another holiday vacation. Only improvements would be more light in kitchen for evening cooking. This house is still talked about by the kids as the "Christmas House."
My husband and I had a fantastic time in this wonderful Paradise Valley River House. Great location for our fly fishing, YNP and Chico Resort outings. The scenery is beautiful and the house has all the amenities you need for a perfect vacation.
Shared this wonderful cabin with friends from Atlanta. Enjoyed all the comforts of home in this beautiful setting. Had spent the previous days exploring YNP and GTNP. Floated down the Yellowstone, hiked Pine Creek and as usual loved our meal at Chico. Thanks you for offering the River House.
Our stay was fabulous!!! When we are able to return to Montana (soon I hope) we will absolutely stay at "The River House" again. Friendly and responsive owners, a perfectly appointed home situated in the middle of "Paradise".......who could ask for more!!!
We spent a wonderful week here with our four grown children, ages 22-29. Between the house and apartment, there was plenty of room for everyone. The house is beautifully set right on the river and we watched deer, eagles and osprey from the front porch. It is in a great location and over the course of the week we went fishing, hiking, rafting, and riding (and saw a bear!). We soaked in the Chico Hot Springs, ate a few delicious meals in Livingston and had a great day in Yellowstone Park. After every adventure, it was so nice coming back to the house to relax, watch the sunset over the river, cook a big dinner and end the day sitting around the fire pit, looking up at that amazing sky full of stars. Having our whole gang together for a week was a huge treat and spending that week here was the icing on the cake.
