You will love your stay at Seagrass! Beaches, turtles, monkeys, birds. Peace and quiet. This is our home away from home and we are proud to offer it to our guests when we can't be there. We offer a very spacious newly constructed three bedroom, three bathroom townhouse with study located in Dover. It's a 5 minute walk to the long curve of white sand on Dover Beach (0.3 mile or 400m.) And the popular St. Lawrence Gap, the restaurant and entertainment hub of the island, is just one more block from there.
Newly furnished in a tropical style with bright colours, our home has a great ambience. In the ground floor living room, you will find a 41 inch Sony TV, cable and DVD, plus free Wireless internet. Adjacent to the living room is the study with futon and full bathroom. The large kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, under cabinet LED lighting, and a convenient washer and dryer for your use. Your indoor dining area is just off the kitchen near to the patio. Or, step outside onto the covered shady patio for morning coffee and enjoy a six seater teak dining table. Just ideal for taking your meals alfresco!
Upstairs you will find your master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, dressing table, and a full length mirror. Off the master, you can slip out onto a private patio to enjoy the ocean breeze and hear the surf on Maxwell Beach.
A second master-sized bedroom boasts more large closets, full length mirror, and dressing table. The third bedroom is bright and cheerful with large closet and dresser. These two bedrooms share a bathroom with large walk-in shower stall. All bedrooms are air conditioned, have ceiling fans and ample closet space.
The house is very secure with security bars on all windows and iron gates for both the front and back doors allowing you to let breezes through when you're home and still have total peace of mind. An in-wall safe is provided for storing your valuables.
Everything you need is convenient to you within a short walk from Seagrass. We are on Third Avenue in Dover with a lovely quiet beach, a grocery market, and a taxi stand right at the end of our street. Two blocks in the other direction and you will be at the bus stop on the main road.
At the end of the street there is a small secluded beach called Rainbow Beach to watch the sunsets or surf. This is a turtle nesting beach where, in the fall, you can watch hatchlings run toward the sea! Turn left and you come to Maxwell Beach for body surfing and long walks. Turn right and within one block you find lovely Dover Beach, offering beach chair and umbrella rentals, watersports and kiosks selling local food and drink. All these beach choices within 5 minutes walk!
Shop for souvenirs and clothing in The Gap - just 4 blocks away. At night The Gap comes alive, offering live local entertainment from Jazz to Reggae and more, a myriad of restaurants both casual and fine dining. Tennis is available at 2 resorts in the neighbourhood. Golf within 3 miles. Public transport is readily available as well as taxis.
Our local property manager will be available to you 24/7 during your stay. She and her staff meet you at the house on your arrival and show you through everything. If you have any repairs or needs while staying with us, she is just a phone call away. She handles our rental arrangements so you will have a secure way to send your payments. (That's why you don't see any actual bookings here on our listing. They are completed by our professional property manager.)

We love our Barbados property and as Canadians, we will use it regularly for winter getaways. We are happy to share this lovely new home with travelers who appreciate a quiet spot near the beach.

Barbados is a charming Caribbean island and the people are wonderful. It's a stable economy and safe place to live and visit. It's also listed in the top 10 of Ethical Traveler's chosen countries for tourists who want to make a positive difference in the world.

Watch the sunset from the patio or the beach at the end of the street. Listen to the birds sing in the morning. Stroll through the neighbourhood, down to visit the barista on the corner for a great cappuccino, and walk the Maxwell coast.
Life is a beach in Barbados!
This house is in the perfect location to walk around the Gap and enjoy the beaches. We enjoyed karaoke at Hal's Car Park as a local spot to be at night. Zed's at Surfers Point is perfect for beginner surf lessons and very chill for Wednesday night dinner. If you go to the Animal Cave, stop by one of the west coast beaches like Sandy Lane.
Oistins Friday night Fish Fry is a must! Also highly recommend a catamaran sailing cruise. We sailed Calabaza and the crew was fantastic and food and drink was all included. Thanks for the stay!
We really enjoyed our stay at Seagrass, really comfortable, lovely big bedrooms , a nice veranda for breakfast or evening meals.
Dover beach is one of our favourites, literally a few minutes walk from the house. Lawrence Gap is full of good restaurants.
Will surely return
Dover is a great part of Barbados, and this is a great location--easy walking distance to two great beaches, a couple of nice bars, a coffee bar. It is well-maintained--the owners obviously love it (and so will you). I would not hesitate to recommend this.
Overall thoroughly enjoyed Barbados with its magnificent beaches- one beach more beautiful than the next.
The house was beautiful, well decorated and cozy! I went with a group of 5 friends and it was perfect for us.
It was in a great location, so we were able to get to beaches, restaurants and clubs on foot.
Downstairs was a little hot at times, but leaving both the front & back door open helped. Upstairs was always nice and cool. The house was clean and Katherine was very helpful and easy to reach during our stay.
I definitely plan to stay here again when I visit Barbados!!
The property is in a great location just slightly away from the hustle and bustle so gave peace and quiet when needed . It is fully equipped with everything needed to make the stay as easy as possible . Very good value for the rental price .the whole experience with the realtor was easy and comunication was excellent. Added bonus was the fact that the property was cleaned every 3 days . Would definitely recommend.
The house was clean, accommodating and a great location. Katherine was a delightful young lady who tended to our every need. The grocery down the street is somewhat of a variety store ranging from flip flops to fresh food. ( a little costly compared to the grocery at Oystin's, you can shop and they will shuttle back to your house!)
I would return to this location in dover anytime, close enough to the restaurants and activities but far enough to relax in the evening. Thank you Michelle for opening up your home ❤
