This luxury 2 bedroom, 1st floor apartment is fully air-conditioned and furnished to a very high standard. One of the largest apartments on the development at 195 square metres, the spacious living area contains dining table and 6 chairs, sofas, coffee table, side table, 40 inch LCD TV, Digibox, DVD/CD player. Unlimited Wi-Fi is also available in the apartment and is free to guests. The lounge has the benefit of two balconies, both south facing, with table and chairs overlooking swimming pools and landscaped gardens. The L-shaped living room can be divided by extending the concealed full height wooden dividers to create a totally private sleeping area which has its own sofabed, air-conditioning unit, bedside table and lamp. Parque da Corcovada is served by local cafes, bars, restaurants and supermarkets, and close to the famous 'Strip' with its numerous bars, discos and restaurants. Nearby attractions such as Zoomarine and Slide and Splash will keep the children entertained and for golf lovers the Algarve is renowned for having some of the finest courses in Europe.

Great Property

Good location. Property was well maintained and perfect for 2 couples. Contacted owner on minor issue which was dealt with immediately. Would strongly recommend this property.

Luxurious apt in fab location

This is the 2nd time I have stayed at this complex but first time in Tony's apt. It was better than the pictures, very spacious with excellent views over the large pool towards the sea. The complex is luxurious and the apt has very good quality furnishings, in perfect condition. It is located very close to the strip (less than 10mins walk) where you will find a large selection of restaurants or bars. A further 10 mins walk you will come to Oura Beach which is my favourite, very clean, lots of sunbeds and a selection of restaurants and bars, and a small supermarket.

The Old Town is too far to walk, but we got the noddy train from the top of the strip one night but it is cheaper to get a taxi straight from the apt if 4 or more people.

I love this complex and this apt, so much so, I have booked again for next year!

Everything You'd Want!

The owner, Tony, was very helpful with everything we needed to know and arranged the transfer to and from the airport too.

The apartment was huge, very modern with 3 balconies, 3 toilets, and table and chairs in the dining area and breakfast area of the kitchen. There were lots of built in wardrobes and two of the balconies overlooked to the pool. The kitchen was large with everything you need (home from home) but we decided to only cook breakfast there and eat out every night. There is a cafe/restaurant on site that has free WiFi and the beaches were very close. The pool was lovely and warm and not over crowded. Lovely and peaceful.

We walked from the apartment down a road to Saint Eulalia beach. The road had lovely cafes, restaurants and supermarkets down it. The beach at the bottom was quiet with a restaurant on it and sun loungers and parasols. The walk back up was quite steep. I didn't wear my heels the whole holiday!

A little further along from the apartment is 'The Strip'. A narrow street full of pubs and clubs and restaurants (and gift shops!) Very busy with a great atmosphere. At the end of this road was Oura beach. This was busier than St Eulalia beach with 4 cafe/restaurants on it, water sports, music and lots of sun loungers with parasols. The food was great, and there was bar service to your lounger! There was a mix of young and old and families and couples. Rocks to explore also.

The Old Town is a little bit further. We did walk it but I recommend a taxi. It was beautiful with little streets and old buildings and little shops, cafes, restaurants and gift shops. There was a lovely beach there too. We had a wonderful meal on our final night and my partner had the traditional Cataplana dish.

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The apartment was better than my home so it felt like a holiday should do (luxury!) The apartment was in a great position, not too noisy, had everything you needed, including television, DVDs and music for if the weather wasn't good. But the weather was 30 degrees so a great time was had all round! Would definitely recommend.

Speaks for itself!!!

We had only been back three days from staying for the third time in this wonderful apartment and have already booked to go again next year. As far as we're concerned this is just heaven, just like a home from home. The apartment has everything to make your stay a pleasure. I must admit we didn't go out in the evening as much this time due to both my husband's and my mobility problems but that wasn't a problem, the apartment is kitted out for cooking almost anything and you have a choice of three tables to use to eat off. We have also been on a cruise this year, which was nice but give us this place anytime. It seems there is a lot of repeat custom with these apartments as we met two seperate couples who were on the complex the same time as us last year.

There are bars close to the apartment which are very good but think the old town is a little bit more classy and with a taxi only a couple of euros and very quick to answer your call this is the part we preferred. Just one drawback with the old town which seems worse than the strip is all the touts trying to get you to eat and drink in their places, but just ignore them.

Counting the days until we go back next year, might even try to go twice if circumstances permit

Excellent apartment and helpful owner (tony)

Been to albufeira several times but went private for the first time and was not disappointed. Owner (Tony) couldn't have done anymore and even recommended a friend ( Pat at BJ's Canadian Bar) who arranged for me to join him and friends for a game of golf. Fab apartment with everything you could want (including Sky plasma tv ) is in an ideal location and as previously described is more the size of a house than an apartment. Also south facing and adjacent to the largest swimming pool on the complex. Will definitely be returning later on in the year. That is if Tony still has availability ??

What more can I say!!!

What can I say that hasn't been said before, this apartment is absolutely fantastic. This year was the second time we have stopped in it and it won't be the last, can't wait to go again!!!

Tony is exceptional in his communication before and after you travel, a true professional and everything goes like clockwork, transfers everything.

We did eat out a few times this holiday although cooking in this apartment is a pleasure. We had a meal in Rania's which is over the Globe roundabout and down on the right hand side, they give you a leaflet stating a 3 course meal is 8.95 euros but when your're actually in there unless you ask this isn't offered although the meals we had weren't expensive and were really lovely. We also had an indian in the Balti restaurant, opposite Rania's, this wasn't cheap but was georgeous. The best chinese we found was the China Imperial down at the bottom of the Strip just set back a little bit on the left hand sign.

All in all, a great apartment and holiday, can't wait to go back!!!! No hesitation to recommend to family and friends although not until I've booked again!!!!

Parque da Corcovada lies to the east of Albufeira and is ideally located for trips attractions such as 'Zoomarine' and 'Slide and Splash' as well as theme parks, water sports and golf. The world famous 'Strip' is a short walk away with its many bars restaurants and shops. This leads to the local beach of Praia de Oura. Or take a walk to the historic 'Old Town' with its delightful square surrounded by restaurants catering for all tastes and pockets and plenty of pubs and bars. Fishermans beach can be accessed from the old town and further along the beach is the ultra-modern marina and fishing harbour.

The hall contains a 5 sq. metre storage room which is ideally suited for storing suitcases, golf clubs and general clutter. The hall also features fitted wardrobes for additional storage and contained therein is a key operated safe for guest use. Further along the hall opposite the master bedroom there are even more fitted wardrobes. You will be amazed at the amount of storage space available in this apartment. An ironing board, iron, clothes airer are also available for guest use. If you rent a property in Portugal on a temporary basis, it must be licensed under the regime Alojamento Local (Local Lodging), and subject to inspections to ensure that certain safety and convenience criteria have been met. This property has been granted such a licence and a plaque is affixed to the wall in the hall in evidence of this.
