This luxury 2 bedroom, 1st floor apartment is fully air-conditioned and furnished to a very high standard. One of the largest apartments on the development at 195 square metres, the spacious living area contains dining table and 6 chairs, sofas, coffee table, side table, 40 inch LCD TV, Digibox, DVD/CD player. Unlimited Wi-Fi is also available in the apartment and is free to guests. The lounge has the benefit of two balconies, both south facing, with table and chairs overlooking swimming pools and landscaped gardens. The L-shaped living room can be divided by extending the concealed full height wooden dividers to create a totally private sleeping area which has its own sofabed, air-conditioning unit, bedside table and lamp. The property meets all the rental requirements of the Portuguese authorities and has been granted Rental Licence, no. 13343/AL. Parque da Corcovada is served by local cafes, bars, restaurants and supermarkets, and close to the famous 'Strip' with its numerous bars, discos and restaurants. Nearby attractions such as Zoomarine and Slide and Splash will keep the children entertained and for golf lovers the Algarve is renowned for having some of the finest courses in Europe.

  • The master bedroom is air-conditioned, and leads to its own balcony. The room has 2 bedside cabinets with lamps and a dressing table, wall mirror and chair. There are also fitted wardrobes and drawer space. En-suite bathroom with bath and over-bath shower, toilet and bidet. Bedroom 2 is air-conditioned, has twin beds which can be zipped together to form a double, a bedside cabinet and lamp as well as ample fitted wardrobes and drawers. A full length mirror is mounted on the wall. Both rooms have electronic shutters over the windows. A large sofabed is located in the 'L-shaped' lounge. This clever design enables a separate sleeping area to be created by extending a full height wooden divider which is concealed within the wall. This area has its own air-conditioning unit, bedside cabinet and chair. A single Z-Bed is also available.

Notes:
The hall contains a 5 sq. metre storage room which is ideally suited for storing suitcases, golf clubs and general clutter. The hall also features fitted wardrobes for additional storage and contained therein is a key operated safe for guest use. Further along the hall opposite the master bedroom there are even more fitted wardrobes. You will be amazed at the amount of storage space available in this apartment. An ironing board, iron, clothes airer are also available for guest use. If you rent a property in Portugal on a temporary basis, it must be licensed under the regime Alojamento Local (Local Lodging), and subject to inspections to ensure that certain safety and convenience criteria have been met. This property has been granted such a licence and a plaque is affixed to the wall in the hall in evidence of this.

Exceeded every expectation

Tony and his team were absolutely brilliant from the beginning and throughout. Responses were super quick and explained everything very clearly.

The apartment is gorgeous, much bigger and more impressive than the pictures. We went late June-early July and the pool was never crowded, just a family here or there so plenty of space round the pool.

The apartment is in the perfect location with everything you need within walking distance.

The strip is a 5min walk away and offers a great and cheap night out, there are several supermarkets within walking distance (however they're all quite small so I'd suggest getting a taxi - which is very cheap and quick - to a bigger more commercial supermarket if you want to do a bigger shop/have more variety)

The apartment is right next door so a peri peri chicken restaurant, a nice bar and restaurant as well as another pool and a 24hr snack shack.

There is a booklet in the apartment with an abundant amount of information of local amenities and directions as well as useful numbers.

Taxis are very cheap - we got a taxi from the old town straight to our door for €5 (and as the corcovada building is quite well known all taxis knew exactly where to find us)

Tuk Tuk's are more expensive (it cost us €10) to get to the old town but was a fun experience and can usually haggle a lower price than quoted.

The apartment was great, with air con, 3 toilets and 2 baths/showers and beds to fit up to 7 people. There are many beaches nearby, we took a €5 taxi to the beach 'Praia los aveiros' which was one of the smallest beaches (more of a cove) and wasn't too busy which was nice.

The weather was lovely and only rained briefly once during the night.

I would not reccomend thin heels as all the pavements are cobbled.

Overall a wonderful experience, would 100% reccomend.

Would recommend this apartment highly very spacious clean everything you need in a self catering pool great quiet grounds very clean well looked after and not far from shops and nightlife should you wish plenty dvd and books should you wish to chill most enjoyable stay for 4 retired female friends had a ball

Fantastic apartment that is much more than expected.

We had a brilliant holiday last week. The description of the apartment does not do it justice as when we arrived and got into the apartment we were amazed by the sheer size of the rooms, and the space throughout the apartment. The double room has an en-suite bathroom, built-in wardrobes, dressing table and a balcony with table and 4 chairs, there is plenty of space. The twin room is massive, 2 single beds and built in wardrobes. There is no shortage of hanging space and cupboards in the hallway as well as the bedrooms. There is a family bathroom next to the twin room as well as another toilet at the other end of the hallway. The kitchen has a table and 4 chairs, washer/dryer, microwave/oven/cooker and loads of cupboards that contain just about every item you may need throughout your stay. The living room is great and even with 6 of us there we never felt under each others feet - 2 large sofas and a chair in the main living area, a sofa in the back area that was a sofa bed and a large dining table with 6 chairs so somewhere for everyone to do their own thing if they wanted to. There were 2 smaller balconies off living room, one with 2 chairs and one with a table and 2 chairs overlooking the pool which was lovely. We would definitely go back to this apartment as it offered us more than we could have asked for.

Location for the pool, shops and eating out as great too. We all had a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday. Thanks Tony

Great apartment in handy location.

Apartment is spacious, clean and bright. It has all you need for a relaxing comfortable self catering break. The location is close to the "strip", if that is your thing, but far enough away to not be bothered by it. It's about a 30 minute walk to the old town, which has more character than the strip, we drove it most days and found the parking garage at the top of the Avenida da Liberdade to be easiest and only 1 euro per hour.

Be warned Albufeira is a bit like Benidorm, plenty of brit's, beer guts and tats. If you are looking for something more traditionally Mediterranean then this may not be the area for you.

That said we had a great holiday and i would thoroughly recommend Tony's apartment and parque du Corcovada complex.

Parque da Corcovada lies to the east of Albufeira and is ideally located for trips attractions such as 'Zoomarine' and 'Slide and Splash' as well as theme parks, water sports and golf. The world famous 'Strip' is a short walk away with its many bars restaurants and shops. This leads to the local beach of Praia de Oura. Or take a walk to the historic 'Old Town' with its delightful square surrounded by restaurants catering for all tastes and pockets and plenty of pubs and bars. Fishermans beach can be accessed from the old town and further along the beach is the ultra-modern marina and fishing harbour.
