Newer home, built in 2000, can sleep up to four families. Quiet Teasdale neighborhood with great access to mountain and road biking and hiking. Close to Capitol Reef National Park, Boulder Mountain and Escalante. Plenty of garage space to store your gear, new washer and dryer, and great kitchen and dining space.
This house is a great place to relax after a long day enjoying the red rock of Capitol Reef or the alpine forests on Boulder Mountain.
Plenty of sleeping space with bunk beds for the younger ones, and comfortable king and queen sized beds for the rest of the family.
Owners are in healthcare and software sales and marketing professional.
We enjoy cycling, both road and mountain, and hiking with our two children. Our favorite hikes in Capitol Reef are Hickman Bridge and Cohab Canyon.
Matt Hobson-Rohrer purchased this house in 2008
We love the combination of red rock and high alpine mountains that are available in the area.
Lots of space and family friendly. Comfortable, clean, new, and functionally complete.
My husband and I got married in a small family-only ceremony near Capital Reef and wanted a place to house our family that we could also use for serving communal meals! This was the perfect place! The dining area accommodated all of us, my nieces loved the nintendo Wii and the younger kids enjoyed all the games and the swing set. My parents prepared two big dinners for everyone and had no trouble finding everything they needed in the well stocked kitchen. The house never felt crowded and was large enough for everyone to feel like they had a bit of their own space. In the end, only seven people spent the night at the house (b/c some people wanted even more personal space, though they later said if they had known how large the house was they would have just stayed there), but we regularly had 13 people hanging out in the house and it never felt crowded. Sharing the space really helped our families get to know each other. Matt was easy to work with and even accomodated our scheduling needs, allowing us to stay later than check-out time on Friday so the kids could nap. I would definitely rent this place again!
This home was perfect in all respects: cleanliness, ample room, location and amenities. We found an attractive, well stocked kitchen with plenty of natural light. A travel library of sightseeing books and an automobile sightseeing tour CD were available for use. These provided plenty of information and advice for our visits to the surrounding National Parks and monuments. The owners provided many amenities, such as shampoos, lotions, detergents, etc., that helped to make our stay more enjoyable. As a frequent traveler these accomodatios are definitely a 10.
this place is perfect for families. if you got small kids its perfect.
we had 3 families with 6 adults and 7 kids and still had enuf room

This rental is the ideal VRBO experience. Dealing directly with a friendly and knowledgeable owner instead of a property manager is what this website should always be. I had every question about the home and surrounding area answered within minutes throughout my stay. The house is spotless and very well appointed. It is a cozy home with ample spaces for large groups. The location is within short proximity to such a variety of gorgeous terrain. The owners have thought of every detail. Doesn't get any better.
Lots and lots of room with everything you could even imagine needing.... especially for those who want to cook up a storm and don't want to pack everything needed to do it. Lots of bathrooms, bedrooms and outdoor space - never felt crowded and I think there were 15 of us total! Thanks for taking great care of us!!!
Thirteen family members stayed in this house while visiting Capitol Reef. It didn't feel the least crowded. There were bedrooms for everyone and plenty of space for eating and playing games in various age groups in the evenings. It was clean and well equipped.
