Owner's Response: Thanks for the great review. Just goes to show that we do get some wonderful weather in Carmarthenshire - and when the sun shines the views from the cottage down across the valley and out to the black mountains on the distant horizon are spectacular. We look forward to welcoming you and your family back again soon to this beautiful part of Wales.

Highly recommended.

Location was perfect for a quiet getaway.

Rooms were perfect.

Place was clean and tidy.

The view outside was breathtaking ❤️

Only slight negative - Not many shops close by, just make sure you bring all food and stuff with you!

Owner's Response: Many thanks for the great review. I will pass your comments on to our lovely Housekeeper Amanda who does such a terrific job keeping the cottage in super condition, she certainly is a treasure. We hope to welcome you back again soon. As an aside, our nearest market town is Llandovery and only 7 minutes drive away so it is a perfect place to stop on your way to pick up some groceries. It has some excellent cafes and eateries. Our check in time is 3pm so if you leave a little earlier and stop off for lunch at The Bear (my personal favourite lunch spot) or The Castle in Llandovery then you can pick up anything you may need at the same time. We do provide our guests (free of charge) with fresh newly laid eggs if the hens are laying and also any fruit when in season that we have available. You can also arrange for a supermarket deliver later on in the day on your day of arrival.

Such a lovely cottage

  • 5 of 5

We loved everything about the holiday. The cottage was clean and homely with all essentials provided. It was well furnished and comfortable but also perfect for our 2 beautiful puppies that had so much fun in the large enclosed garden as well as touring around the cottage. The views were gorgeous and we loved setting up the wood burner each night. We have already decided to come back again. Thank you for everything, Louise and David

Despite a rainy long weekend, our stay was fantastic. The cottage was a delight with the fire already going on our arrival.
