Beautiful cottage / wonderful location

Despite a rainy long weekend, our stay was fantastic. The cottage was a delight with the fire already going on our arrival.

Owner's Response: We look forward to welcoming you back and will order up some sunshine as in sunny weather the views are unbeatable - right out across our lovely Carmarthenshire countryside to the distant Brecon Beacons that line the skyline. Jenny

Been to this cottage (Wheatsheaf) 3 times now. That says it all. We go in November to get away from fireworks for my dog and it is absolutely perfect. The cottage is clean and comfortable with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Lovely comfortable beds, sofas and big baths and powerful showers.

The woodburner is another good feature and free wood as well!

The only slight negative is that you cant get BBC channels but hey! If you cant live without the TV for a week its a poor thing!

Owner's Response: Thanks for letting us know about the TV channels - we have sorted this out and you should have BBC as well as all the others.

We all loved it, beautiful big rooms, lovely and warm, very well appointed, there was nothing left wanting. Just everything a family of three generations needed for a half term holiday. There was also a view to die for, I could have sat there and watched the view changing on a minute by minute and day by day basis. We just felt that this was a holiday home that was being rented out with plenty of thought given to it's visitors. To be quite honest this was the best holiday cottage we have visited over many years. I would recommend Wheatsheaf Cottage to everybody, except I would like to keep it to myself as a bolthole to escape to when ever I wanted to.
