Beach Front Cottage, right on the beach. Listen to the Gulf waves hitting the beach from your bedroom. Enjoy a barbeque meal on the deck, toast each other as you celebrate our world famous sunsets.
For pet lovers we have a fenced in the back yard. While pets are welcome on our property, THE COUNTY HAS AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING PETS ON THE BEACH.
Also we have new furniture in the living room and master bedroom. The queen bed in the Master bedroom is now a tempurpedic mattress. Oh, so comfortable.
We have also painted the interior of the cottage.
We are 'on the sand' and the sand is beautiful, white sand that stretches as far as the eye can see. Our private quiet home allows you to unwind, relax and enjoy the moment. Soak in the relaxing atmosphere, enjoy a refreshment on the patio, toast each other at sunset, all the simple things of life that are most rewarding.
For active people, antiquing (some of the best in Florida), the The Clearwater Marine Aquarium, home of Winter the dolphin star of the movie 'Dolphin Tale' is 10 miles away. Baseball, Football, hockey and more sports is 45 minutes away in Tampa and St. Petersburg. The Mahaffey theater is 15 minutes away where stars perform in a quaint small theater.
Busch Gardens is 45 minutes by car and Disney is only 2 hours away.

After serving in the Navy I began my career in sales positions working for Northwest Airlines. I was fortunate to enter the travel industry where I remain today. Having run a cruise line, I purchased a travel company and have been fortunate to work with wondeful people who excel at planning vacations. Yes, I have had the opportunity to travel to many places and meet so many interesting people. But I can honestly tell you I have been fortunate to have landed here in the Gulf area where the beaches are unspoiled and safe.
Now days I really love to go to the beach and relax.
Our place is pet friendly because I love my dogs. Jack, my favorite, recently passed away but Max has stepped up to the plate and just become a terrific partner. Max is a cocker spaniel.
My favorite time on the beach is sunset with a glass of wine just watching the sunset. So peaceful. Many people come out to see the sunset because each one is unique and spectacular.
Ed purchased this house in 2012
I lived on Indian Rocks Beach back in the 90's and loved the character of this small beach community. The people are very friendly, restaurants can be walked to and the beach is breath taking. So I have been looking for the right place to return to IRB. And I found it here. It is private, no cramped quarters with other families, convienent one step to the beach, a large deck offering covered and sunning areas, the master bedroom is on the ocean so we can hear the wave action as we lay peacefully in bed. Our home is 40 minutes away so coming to the beach house is easy.
Great Deck, Fantastic Beach, One-Step access to the sand, no crowds of people, and the most stunning sunsets to enjoy from your deck or the beach. Restaurants, ice cream store, local bars all within walking distance.
We could not have asked for a better week! Weather was perfect every day! Beautiful home! So comfy and cozy and perfect for our size family. We enjoyed the perfect sun sets!
Loved walking on the beach every day and collecting shells, great restaurants and shopping! But our favorite meal was cooking the the grill and eating dinner on the deck and watching the sun set!
Thanks for sharing your wonderful piece of Florida with us.
This is our 4th time staying here and we love it. The house is well maintained and is right on the beach. We'll be back in 2017!
We loved our stay at this cozy cottage on Indian Rocks Beach. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets relaxing on the deck and were just steps from the beach. Would definitely stay here again.
Overall a great week on the beach! Great location, good weather, and the beach house was very accommodating and worked out great for us and our pet.
This was our 4th time to visit IRB, but the first time to rent your cottage. It was perfect. My favorite features were the view and proximity to the beach (of course), and the Sassy Cat who came to visit us on the back porch daily. We had a great day at John's Pass in Madiera beach riding a jet ski and hanging out at the Copper Clover (Irish Pub that just opened recently). Everyone in and around IRB is so friendly and welcoming. Your place is heaven on earth, and we surely hope to come again.
This is a very well-appointed, charming cottage, and the location is perfect. The beach is a short walk from the front deck, which by the way is expansive and has a sun shade that is quite handy in the afternoon. The cottage faces west to the Gulf, so the water views and sunsets are amazing. Binoculars are a must for watching ospreys, pelicans, terns, herons and skimmers at work. In the water we saw dolphins galore as well as manatees and even a mammoth sea turtle heading back to the water after laying her eggs. A great experience -- we hope to do it again.
This cottage is very cozy and comfortable. It feels private even though the properties are close to each other. The view of the Gulf is unrivaled. The cottage is clean and well furnished. You feel comfortable there. The awning covered deck and boardwalk with shower and hose to rinse after being at the beach are great. Then there's only 15 - 20 yards of soft sand to be on the beach.
We loved being able to see the Gulf over the dunes. Especially at sunset!
Ed is a very responsive owner. We were in touch and the minor problems that occurred were taken care of ASAP.
The cottage has a guest book to write a short summary of your stay. It's fun to read the entries that other guests have written about their stays at the cottage. There are books on the history of Indian Rocks Beach that we found very interesting.
We also enjoyed our proximity to the Kooky Coconut! We could walk to it easily for their homemade ice cream! The building has been there since 1925!
We highly recommend staying at 812 Beach Trail.
Indian Rocks beach is a classic beach community. Small friendly with many restaurants and bars within walking distance. Clearwater Beach is 4 miles away with many activites.
