This cabin was exactly what we were looking for. Our family had a great time relaxing by the fire and my husband caught 4 fish in the stream. I would highly recommend this house to other guests.
We rented the cabin for a week to just get away from it all. The house was beautiful and had everything you could want. The grounds were great and with three teenagers having space for them to hike and play was great.
I spent most mornings sitting down by the river reading waiting for everyone else to get up. We went hiking, gem mining, walked Philipsburg, worked on a puzzle and played games during our week here.
I asked my teens how they would rate the vacation and they all said it was either first or second in ALL of the vacations we have gone on. I rated number 1... so relaxing. It was just what we needed to recharge our batteries.
We truly loved it and plan on going back!
This is a must if you are looking for a comfortable, feel at home, spacious, and a place that has it all. We traveled from Indiana and Wisconsin to meet up as a family for a little get away and a visit with our niece who is working at a near by ranch. The cabin is more than what we expected. The owners had thought of everything to make our stay an absolute wonderful experience. It really is a piece of heaven at the cabin and all around. The surrounding areas are breathtaking as well as the very own creek that runs right in the back yard.
Are stay was almost a week, but we all could have stayed much longer :)
Thank you for allowing us to share your special place.
Amazing place, it was relaxing and clean and so at home, fishing and hiking was great, we will be back enjoyed the stay!!!!
This was my fifth spring trip to fish in the Philipsburg area and the Flint Creek Cabin was hands down the nicest place that I have stayed. It was neat and clean and equipped with just about every amenity you could want. A bonus was the Boulder Creek Lodge which was about a mile away from the cabin. They are only open on weekends right now but I had a great prime rib dinner there and it was very reasonably priced. Thanks much to John and Jan.
What a nice rental and location for us on our vacation. The "Powerhouse Ranch" is huge and has everything you would ever want or need to have a good time. Its neat as a pin as well. The fishing on the property on Flint Creek was great, but Rock Creek, Georgetown Lake, Clark Fork and the Blackfoot are minutes away and are fabulous. John and Jan were very accomodating.
Fish in Flint Creek, Blue Ribbon Rock Creek (25 minutes away) or Georgetown Lake (30 minutes away). Search for sapphires in Philipsburg shops or at the mine, several ghost towns nearby also hiking trails on the 40 acre property.
