A two bedroom, two bathroom, luxury modern apartment with some of the most spectacular panoramic seascape views in Devon. Floor to ceiling windows in living room and master bedroom onto balcony overlooking the sea. There is a large open plan living room with a high quality kitchen offering granite work service, breakfast bar, integrated fan assisted oven, fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher. Ceramic hob with hood. Oak wood strip flooring to living room, kitchen and hall, central heating. Washer dryer, linen and towels included. Secure underground car park with lifts to all floors, security gates and doors with video entry system.

Large living room with fantastic views of Bideford Bay, sliding French door onto the balcony. 36' wide screen LCD TV with freesat and DVD. Dining area with solid oak extending table and 6 leather chairs.

About James McRae

We were one of the first people to buy in Horizon View back in 2008 whilst visiting our family. Reflections was truly special and always will be, In 2010 we decided to purchase Tides, which is virtually underneath our other apartment but has the benefit of immediate access to the grounds for our dogs. It is also bigger and suited us better. We stayed there full time for a couple of years and took it off the rental market while we moved down from Surrey and completed a building project. We have now bought a farm locally and decided to rent it out again.

Why James McRae chose Torridge

Tides is like a cottage, it has its own front door directly out onto the complex grounds where you can sit in the sun protected from the wind. It is one of the biggest two bedroom apartments and is very special benefiting from a huge three window wide view from both the living room and master bedroom directly onto the sea and bay. It also has a fabulous en-suite with both large shower enclosure, bath, wc and sink. The family bathroom is also much larger than the standard size. With a downstairs wc and two floors both with private balconies this is the only apartment like it in the whole complex and is very special!!

What makes this apartment unique

Huge master bedroom with three window wide view directly out to sea with its own balcony. Massive en-suite with separate shower AND bath. Larger than average main bathroom. Impressive living room, again with three windows looking out to sea with private balcony off. (most have only two windows). Separate allocated dining area and beautifully equipped kitchen with Induction Hob. Protected area outside the front door to sit protected from the wind in the sunshine. This is the only apartment like it in the complex - Unique!!

Fabulous apartment, wonderful holiday!

We've just got back from a week in this apartment and it was fantastic. My husband is disabled and uses a wheelchair and the flat was very comfortable and easily accessible for him. The apartment has everything you need in it, and is beautifully decorated. And the view is second to none!

James is very welcoming, and very helpful - nothing is too much trouble. He made the holiday very easy for us.

I would totally recommend this apartment to anyone, and look forward to going back.

ANOTHER FANTASTIC HOLIDAY AT THIS LOVELY APARTMENT

This is our second stay at this beautiful apartment - what can I say, luxuriously appointed, spotlessly clean, fantastic facilities, home from home comforts, very helpful and friendly owner, lovely welcome pack and of course the fantastic views. Lovely local resaturants serve a variety of food and pleasant local walks make the icing on the cake. The only negative is that we had to leave! We will hopefully be back again next year.

Another fabulous holiday

If your going to Westward Ho ! on holiday and thinking of staying at reflections,do it ,you won't be disappointed.Its a fabulous apartment,clean,spacious,light and airy,well appointed with the most breathtaking sea view and an nice friendly owner whom nothing is too much trouble,what more could you ask for.

Reflections is in the heart of Westward Ho ! ,with its lovely beach,good array of shops,cafes and restaurants ( check out Tea on the Green their cakes are amazing ) and lots to keep the kids entertained right on your doorstep.Even if the sun isn't shining it dosen't matter nothing could spoil the view from the balcony overlooking the sea,not to mention the wonderful sunsets you can sit for hours.We had another great holiday at Reflections and can't wait to return next year.

Fabulous

Have stayed at Reflections in the summer before I just couldn't wait to stay again. This time for a winter half-term break and we were not disappointed. The view and the sea and the whole experience wonderful. The high tides were amazing and just relaxing looking at the sea in a 5 star apartment was enough for me. Would highly recommend to everybody without reservation.

Luxury penthouse made this holiday special

We have just spent the most fantastic week staying in this luxury apartment by the sea. As has been said before in the reviews the photos do not do justice to the views you get from both the lounge and bedroom , and we were totally blown away the moment we entered the front door.

The apartment itself is spotlessly clean and well equipped for all your needs with many extras you don't usually expect on self catering holidays. It is well sited within the complex being on the top floor at the west end of the building so you can sit on your balcony and watch the most amazing sunsets at night.

The owners were on hand to show us in and could not have been more helpfull , and were very usefull at giving us local knowledge on were to go to eat .

Westward Ho itself is a great place to make your base and has everything one needs all within a short walking distance. The beach which is a 2 minute walk from the apartment offers both large stretches of sand and rock pools which kept the children entertained for hours. All in all we had one of our best family holidays ever and the icing on the cake was being able to stay in this apartment

Excellent apartment, all aspects 100%. Views unbelievable, no matter what the weather the view of the sea could not be spoilt. Would recommend to all and can't wait to stay again either summer or winter.

Immediate access from the flat to the fantastic Blue flag Westward Ho! beach which is great for surfing, boarding, kiting and swimming. Central base to access Appledore, Instow, Woolacombe, Croyde, Braunton, Saunton and of course Cornwall for Bude. Fast coastal road 4 minutes away. Bideford town a five minute drive and Barnstable about 20 minutes away by car.

Many local attractions including the Big Sheep, Milky Way Adventure Park,Exmoor Zoo, Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park and Northam Burrows County Park.

Lundy Island can be reached by ferry from Bideford, it is an island three and a half miles long and half a mile wide and rises steeply from the sea.

Lundy is famous for its seabirds, including a few breeding pairs of the puffins which gave the island its name (Norse for Puffin Isle) but there is also a wealth of other animals and plants on the island and in the waters around it.

RHS Rosemoor is also about half an hour drive away.

Golf: The apartment is located very close to The Royal North Devon Golf Club which is the oldest golf course in England. Additional golf courses are also available in the surrounding area.

Additional Information- Being a single story penthouse apartment on the second floor it has the advantage of sea views from both the master bedroom and living room. Both have full height French windows onto a 38ft balcony. Beautifully furnished with a 2 leather sofa's and a chaise lounge to take in then views and relax. A 36' flat screen TV with FreeSat and DVD player with a selection of DVD's to play and some light reading holiday books. There is also a Radio, CD player and IPod docking station. The modern kitchen is complete with electric oven/ grill, hob, built in fridge and separate freezer, microwave, dishwasher, toaster and kettle. The work surface is granite with the benefit of having a breakfast bar and stools with a wine rack at the end (wine stock not included!). A washer / dryer is in the hall cupboard. There is a dining area which has a solid oak extending table and six leather chairs.
