This impeccable designer home is located in the only 'true' ocean front building in the Sea Village complex, A full renovation was completed in 2012, featuring all new amenities and designer touches - Island Elegance best describes our home.

Relax to the sounds of the ocean throughout our unit and watch the Humpback whales (in season) and resident spinner dolphins (absolute daily sightings) from your private lanai. As each evening approaches, be prepared to view the most spectacular sunsets in all of Kona and if you are lucky enough you will be rewarded with seeing the famous 'green flash' as the sun drops below the horizon.

Our home will meet the needs of the most discriminating guest. No detail has been overlooked - from two flat screen TV's, IPOD Dock/stero sound system, beach accessories, egyptian cotten linens, washer/dryer, to a fully stocked 'chef's' kitchen.

For the truly adventurous, world class snorkeling and diving are just steps from our unit. Resident Manta Rays, dolphins, reef fish and sea turtles at every turn in waters so clear, visibility often exceeds 150 feet.

Walk to town and enjoy all that Kona has to offer. All of your activity rentals are available here. You will find snorkel-dive gear, paddle-surf boards, bicycle-motorcycle and jet ski rentals along with guided tours / lessons for surfing or paddleboarding, parasailing, whale watching, boat dives, volcano tours, deep sea fishing and swimming with the dolphins - each activity more tempting than the last!

While in town, visit sights such as the Queens Palace and gardens, the historic Old Kona Inn, or just relax and people watch from the sea wall.

The Sea Village provides a great central location to all of Kona and points North and South as well as the Hilo side of the island. The Sea Village is a family friendly property but still maintains great privacy for couples seeking that intimate get away!

What makes this condo unique

Our main sunset picture was taken guest Garret F. in May 2013. With these views and location, you won't want to leave! You will see dolphins every day from our lanai and whale sightings are promised during the winter season.

Dear Danielle, we are delighted you asked us to provide a review of your home and we definitely have great feedback for you. My husband Chris and I stayed in your condo the first week of February and would still be there now if we could. Your home is just breathtaking. We spent every evening on the lanai listing the the sounds of the surf and stargazing. The wonderful ocean breezes and the beautiful ceiling fans kept us absolutely comfortable during our stay. There were even some evenings that I woke a bit cold - yes I was chilled in Hawaii! The bedrooms were luxurious and felt like a SIX STAR RESORT! We made fast friends with your neighbors below (Jack and his wife) and what fun we had with them one day at the pool. We ended up having a group dinner at the BBQ area with them and another couple. The highlight or our stay was the daily sightings of dolphins from your lanai and the whales were so close I though I could reach out and touch them. I was just speechless watching whales breach just in front of your lanai. Thank you for opening your home to us and for delivering exactly what your website described! We plan to share our experience with friends and co-workers and we give your home of vote of 5 stars!

I have stayed at other condos in Sea Village but for the last three years I have returned to Danielle's condo. The reasons are simple. The unit is tastefully decorated and everything you will need is there. The kitchen has all the essentials. There are ample towels and linens. All the beach gear you are likely to need is provided. Also, everything works without any problems. The unit is away from the street so it is quiet. There is no better view from the lanai in Sea Village. This is not something you can say about some other units. It is about a one mile walk to Kona. My family loves staying here. Danielle is very helpful and pleasant. She is much nicer to talk to than interacting with a rental agency. I will definitely stay here again.

Lovely Condo

My husband and I stayed here for 9 days and fell in love with the condo and location. Danielle was so easy to work with and any questions that needed to be answered, she was right on it. The condo was well stocked and very comfortable. The view from the lanai is awesome and we were able to watch spinner dolphins, whales and even a turtle showed up. We highly recommend this condo to young families and retired couples. It is in a great location to town and to go sightseeing. We would definitely stay here again.

Has to be one of the best views in Kailua-Kona

Came over to Kona for a week of scuba diving. The owners were very helpful with questions and responded quickly. The view from the Lanai was exceptional with the unit facing North, but the Lanai provides an incredibly unobstructed view to the West that allows for perfect views of the setting sun. Rooms are tastefully decorated and there are many nice extra touches. The kitchen had everything you could need for dining in if that is your choice.

Perfect Family Condo

Our family of four stayed here for a week and it was a perfect place for us. The condo was very well kept and had everything you can think of. You can tell the owners have spent the extra money to make their guests feel very comfortable. The mattresses were high end and we slept great the entire time. We didn't have to worry about buying any items for the beach, as the owners provided beach chairs, towels, ice chests, umbrellas, boogie boards and snorkeling gear. Having a washer/dryer too inside our condo was perfect as we were able to do some wash during our stay. We enjoyed our stay and recommend staying here.

I have been to Hawaii several times but this was the first time for my Mother and sister. I have stayed at many different hotel and B&B's etc... but this condo is truly special. From the first moment you walk in you are captured with the amazing ocean view and the sounds of the ocean. Each morning we enjoyed our coffee and then Papaya on the Lanai. We ate Papaya every single day because in Hawaii they are a quarter each as opposed to where we live they are $5.99+ each and they are SO GOOD! Nearly every morning we saw spinner dolphins jumping out of the water and extra special for us was to see was the Ironmen and women practicing the 2.4 mile water leg of the Ironman race that was being held the same week we were there. The furnishings are all SO comfortable and the condo is spacious. The location can't beat. You can walk to Kona and if driving it's a great jumping off point. After a long day going out to Volcanoes National Park or heading out to Hilo to see the Falls and Botanical Gardens (which I highly recommend both) it always felt great to get back to the condo. Make sure to eat at Jackie Rey's which is very close to the condo, it's awesome! If you are coming to the Big Island STAY HERE you will love it. Danielle and David are wonderful hosts and you will be well taken care of.

These owners are something else to deal with. Do NOT RENT THIS CONDO!!

I entered a first review of this unit with accurate information and the owners apparently were insulted as they responded with slandering remarks about us. These are not the type of people I would suggest renting from even if you do love the unit. It does come down to personal responsibility and when an owner posts lies saying we brought 6 people and demanded they pay for a hotel for another couple we were with is crazy. There were only 2 of us renting the unit. They also stated we broke their ceiling fans and threw their plastic beach chairs off the lanai onto the rocks below. They also stated the neighbors complained about how loud and rude we were when we stayed no longer than 10 minutes after viewing the unit. They also said we stole their key but when I received the invoice for the supposedly "stolen key", the unit number and phone number were both blacked out with felt pen as they obviously were hiding which unit the invoice was actually from. Also, IF we had damaged their fans, wouldn't there have been a charge for the damage also on this receipt? They know these allegations are not true. The pool was closed for a week and they responded it was only down for 5 hours. When we took a look at the pool, the guys working on it said it would be unavailable all week, but we paid in advance for a unit with a pool. They did not advertise no pool, no elevator, and no A/C so be careful of the fine print (or lack of) regarding those items. I do have copies of all emails from the owner as well as refund paid to us for cleaning deposit, but they kept the damage deposit for keys not returned that were still in the lock box. These are a very dishonest couple and are not above making slandering statements in order to keep their 5 star reviews that apparently they themselves must have submitted as this unit is not even close to 5 stars. The owner agreed to refund 1/2 of the rental fees and stated it would be sent to our home address the next day, but that was also another lie. If you are interested in seeing any of this documentation, please contact VRBO as they have copies of it all. Don't waste your money as there are so many other condos in Kona with much nicer accommodations and more than likely much more honest and reasonable owners.

Owner's Response: Retaliatory Review Full of Untrue Statements. We along with most individuals have decided to take a higher road and we will not air disputes in the public forum or via social medial. Tact, as my mother used to say, is taking the higher road no matter how hard it is to do and not allowing oneself to be baited into a public "he said / she said" debate. It would be very easy for me to bullet out just what this traveler did to our home and to the resident home owners at the Sea Village but we will take the high road and refrain from doing so. We will say that it is fortunate that this traveler did not adhere to the terms of our very simple rental agreement which helps to protect our little piece of paradise from dishonest travelers.. It is unfortunate that this traveler decided to remove and not return property from our home and it is unfortunate that this traveler decided that the HOA rules of the Sea Village did not apply to her. Ultimately, we ask that you take this review with a grain of salt and read each and every other review from all of the other travelers that were very happy with our home. We have many repeat guests and with all due respect, if we were as terrible as this traveler would like your believe, VRBO would have no choice but to remove our listing. We stand behind our integrity and reputation and we stand behind our consistent guest reviews. We open our home to perfect strangers and only ask that our guests respect our home and treat it as if it were their own and we ask that our guest respect that they are staying in a home owner association, and as as such, respect and adhere to the guidelines that we are all held to. We go out of our way to provide a memorable home and we go out of our way to take care or our guests but we will not be bullied and intimidated by travelers that have submitted untrue statements. We suffered losses with little to no recourse to mitigate those losses. Honestly, we thought that bullies whet the way of dinosaur after high school but I guess we have been shown otherwise.

They have fantastic made to order breakfast and lunch offerings along with world famous Kona Coffee. The Sea Village also has on site tennis courts with complimentary rackets and tennis balls provided by the owners. Our unit is only one of less than 20 out of 120+ units that has the additional security features of having a second 4' deadbolt to secure the unit and a wireless door chime to notify you of visitors.
