This is a one bedroom apartment with one bathroom on the first floor of historic Art Deco building. The apartment was gutted this year and has an architect designed gorgeous kitchen with Italian white glossy self closing cabinets, Liebnerr build in fridge, Bosh dishwasher, two burner cooktop and fully stocked with all pots, pans, knives and dishes to cook gourmet meals. The new luxury Carrara marble bath has a jacuzzi deep soaking tub and heated floor. There are beautiful restored original parquet hardwood floors in the living room and new hardwood in bedroom. The apartment is only steps from world class restaurants, avant-garde theaters, trendy cafes and the best shopping this city has to offer. The apartment is decorated with passion and attention to detail: classic modern furniture, color coordinated organic sheets, rugs, cotton linens, kitchen and bath ware. There is original artwork on the walls. There is wifi and Direct TV with all movie channels.
Garage parking is available near our unit for $20 to $30 a day.
Street parking is by permit only between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. We can get visitor's parking pass for you from a local police station for $40 for the stay, and you can park, day and night, on the street. The parking pass is for zone 1, so any street marked zone 1 on the signs is fine (quite a large area). Please note that during the season the streets get cleaned -please read signs clearly and visibly posted on each street when you must move your car for street cleaning.

Hi, originally from Prague, Czech Republic, Washington DC has become my second home twelve years ago when I came to study at Georgetown University. I live in this wonderful city with my two boys Alexander and Christopher, only few blocks from the rental property. We spend every weekend at a museum (Air and Space is the favorite), hiking through Rock Creek Park or on a fifty year old carousel in front of the Smithsonian Gardens and we hope that all our guests enjoy this vibrant city as much as we do.

As a single mom I need to provide for my two boys. I love to travel and so do my kids. Most of the time I travel out of DC and the situation helped me see that just as I love to leave the city and to explore other places, there are people who come to visit DC to spend time with their families. My two boys, my family, are the best critics of any place, as no furnishings are safe from their play and no vase is sacred to them. Our places are luxurious but ready to be used. I understand what most travelers need to feel comfortable since I have traveled extensively around the world to Africa, South and Central America, Asia and Europe . Please come and share your vacation time in our home. I promise that we will do our best to make you feel comfortable. This is the reason I bought my rental property.
From our apartment in the heart of Dupont Circle the access to all the tourist attractions, world famous restaurants, great bars and the biggest selection of privately owned galleries is just steps away. The metro stop is only a block and a half away, next to Starbucks. The 14 Street buses run directly downtown from our bus station at the end of the block; every two minutes during rush hour and every six minutes other times. The White house, The Mall and The Smithsonian Museums are less than a mile away; about fifteen minute walk or few metro stops.
Location was great. The unit had everything you could think you would need. The place was clean and charming. The owner and her staff were very accommodative.
My husband, 2.5 yr old son and I stayed in this property from Wednesday-Sunday. It was a good location, near restaurants (The Bulletin was our fave) and store for essential food items. The property was mostly clean and well kept (bathroom walls could've been wiped down). Instructions to access property was easy. The area is a bit noisy as there are other apartments in the bldg., so we would hear doors open and close through the evening hours. Saturday there was a lot of street noise from people walking by and there are a few bars nearby. The apartment is small, but it was still a good size for basically sleeping and snacking as we did a lot of sightseeing. A queen size bed in the bedroom with a pullout couch in the living room. My biggest complaint was/is there is a window AC unit in the bedroom and due to such a small area I ended up sick. The 3rd and 4th night I slept on the pullout (with my son) and did better, but my husband (who slept in the bedroom) ended up with sinus and nasal congestion after his 2 night stay in the bedroom. I'm not sure there are other remedies due to the size of the apartment, but it is my biggest complaint.
Eva was quick to respond in the emails I had sent asking questions and kind. Overall, I would return to the property for other visits to D.C. (maybe in a different time of year).
Nice ok place, I wouldn't call it luxurious. The place is well situated in a very nice and safe neighborhood. However, be aware the bedroom is very small. The place is just enough for two people.
Eva was very helpful and understanding. She helped us recover our luggage after we left our garment bag there by kistake.
If need a place to stay in DC, this a good place.
Disappointing and did not live up to expectations as indicated by reviews. No contact at all from owner. 'Small' would have been ok but it was minute. 'Luxurious' it was not. Would not return.

My twelve-year-old daughter and I stayed here in January and were so pleased with the entire experience. The place is perfect size for two and so nicely appointed. The kitchen is efficient and the jetted tub was a nice treat after long days walking. Everything in the neighborhood is so conveniently located -- completing the home-away-from-home experience -- from Trader Joe’s to Bakehouse and Ted’s Bulletin to Ben’s Chili Bowl. The heating system was perfect especially given that we were visiting during sub-zero temperatures just before the blizzard! The neighbors were quiet and, even on a holiday weekend, there was no excessive noise from outside. We hope to stay here again!
