New beachfront villa in beautiful Great Bay. Located directly on the wide and pristine beach. There are 4 air-conditioned rooms, with en-suite bathrooms (2 with amazing outside showers) with views of the sea and the rolling green hills behind.
Go to sleep to the sound of the sea, wake to bird song, sip your morning coffee on a verandah high above the wide, sandy beach.
Watch the fishermen of Great Bay prepare to go to sea, or meet them as they return with their catch, make a selection to be prepared for your dinner that same evening. Chat and feel the old Jamaican vibe, experience the quiet pride in this very special part of St Elizabeth.
Swim in the calm blue pool and sip a cool drink made for you at the driftwood bar while you relax under the shade of the large, thatched gazebo. Catch up with friends, keep an eye on the children, read, snooze, recover.
Take a short drive to restaurants and bars; Jake’s, Jack Spratt and others. Go to Black River, YS falls, or take a canoe to Pelican Bar or Little Ochi.
Go for a guided walk along the beach and cliffs, discover the unique environment surrounding you. Feast on lobster as you watch the golden sunset, watch the moon make the sea twinkle silver and even get up to watch the pink, glowing dawn….but only if you want to!
Our capable staff will help you make the most of your stay. Beverly will tease your taste buds with delicious meals from the spacious kitchen - she will ensure your belly is never empty; Donna Rae will be your housekeeper and ensure the flowers beside your bed are always fresh; and Randy will be your bartender and ensure you always have a fresh drink in hand.
Unlike so many Villas in the area, we do not charge up front for a staff gratuity (tips are completely discretionary for guests) and additional services such as grocery shopping and laundry are provided free-of-charge to guests. Our staff are there to ensure you don't have to lift a finger and are pampered from the minute you arrive.
This partner has demonstrated and is committed to fast response times, the best rates, and a great guest experience.
We are a Jamaican family who are based in Jamaica and in Canada.

We have enjoyed this beach for many years, having wonderful family times here. We built the villa with family holidays in mind, and wish to introduce others to this beautiful and unique part of the world. It's a wonderful peaceful fishing village, with the best beach and best swimming on the South Coast. A great place to go with friends and family alike, to spend quality time, play games, swim, relax and just be together.
“This was the most beautiful place we have stayed. Everything was perfect.... really beyond our expectations. The house is beautiful, comfortable, open and airy. The pool and covered areas were immaculate and cozy - great areas to spend time in. The bathrooms and showers were perfect with great water pressure, loads of hot water for the 8 of us. Towels and bedding were all excellent and very comfortable. Even better were the staff who made the trip a dream. Beverly, Donna, Phillip, Carleton, and Randy really went out of their way to make our trip exceptional. The food was SPECTACULAR.... every meal was prepared so well, and the traditional Jamaican dishes were top notch. All 8 of us thought that the goat was Greatest Of All Time! We had our wedding here, and they were all so much fun, accommodating, and made us feel loved and welcome every moment. We stayed here for a week of bliss and will absolutely go back. A few suggestions for treasure beach: 1. The Lobster Pot just down the beach is world class amazing food... Birch, Ed and Annabelle make traditional Lobster dishes which are worth a trip to Treasure Beach. 2. Local music scene - Go out for some traditional reggae sound system parties if you get the chance... Romeo who has the Outlaw and Air Force 2 sound systems and the Starlight crews bring some great dancing and local toasters to Treasure Beach. Not to be missed. 3. We went to the Pelican Bar and really enjoyed our time their - the kids played bones (dominos) with the staff there, and we had some drinks, fished and snorkelled for a bit, and saw pods of dolphins going each direction. In summary, this place is paradise.... it is excellent value and the staff are really awesome. Yeah Mon - that's my review...”

We have always referred to Out of the Blue as the "Rock Star House". Our second visit to OTB proved to be better than the first, 5 years ago. The addition of Carlton, aka the "doorman" and Phillip have made the staff of the house even better yet. One never needs to feel worried about your safety here at the house or in Great Bay. Put it on your bucket list, well worth every penny.
Incredibly beautiful house with a wonderful beach out front. The staff were incredible; we never found ourselves in want of anything.
I would 100% recommend this property to anyone looking for a vacation in the area. It is absolutely beautiful. From the comfortable bedrooms to the relaxing pool to the secluded beach access this place has everything one needs for a Jamaican getaway. And how could I leave out the great customer service and delicious meals. I truly cannot think of one downside to staying at Out of the Blue!
Had an absolutely lovely time here. The drive from the airport was very easy and once there Phillip, Donna, Randy and "Miss Bev" were there for anything we needed. The house is stunning, the pool and beach are everything you need (the beach is literally right at the end of the yard!) and we went on a few really nice walks through the area where everyone was so nice and friendly. Only complaint is that I wish we could've stayed longer. But seriously, just lovely.
Wonderful stay at Out of the Blue down on Great Bay. Fantastic beach front location with stunning views, particularly at sunset. Very good for strolls along the beach, next to a little fishing village and tree covered headland which is perfect for exploring.
All the bedrooms very spacious and immaculately clean. The staff were fantastic, cooking up delicious food and going beyond the call of duty in providing a friendly service and advice.
Pool and outside seating area perfect for relaxing. Sipping a red stripe or rum and ting while lazing in the sun loungers my favourite activity for the week.
Before we arrived my friends and family were concerned at the "state of emergency" in Montego Bay/St James, but we were not in any way affected. Travelling from Montego Bay to Great Bay was no problem, felt very safe. We had no issues during our stay, everything feels very normal and I think it's classic media hype over a domestic issue.
Overall we had a fantastic time at Great Bay and I would definitely go back to Out of the Blue. Perfect for relaxing with family and friends.
