The tastefully furnished apartment has two bedrooms, master bedroom queen size bed with en suite, 2nd bedroom with twin beds, fitted wardrobes. It has air conditioning and celing fans. Tata cable TV. Fully fitted european kitchen. Lounge with sofabed, large TV with Tata cable. Balcony has table and four chairs for dining and enjoying the beautiful views. The complex was built by the local company Acron. It has 24 hours security.

The Villa Maria complex offers an excellent 25m swimming pool and a well equipped gym with exercise machines. A small library for the use of residents together with Internet access. The village is five minutes walk away and includes a local grocery shop that stocks everything you are likely to need, and a variety of shops i.e. internet cafes, money exchange etc..

Siolim is an ideal place to get away from it all, and a great place for exploring the local beaches which are uncrowded eve in in high season.. The Pernem beaches of Morjim, Aswem and Mandrem are particularly good. local taxis are avilable to take you to the nearby beaches, or for full day trips to other parts of Goa, such as the Spice Gardens oe the big waterfall, or a River trip: There is also a great river trip available from the fishing port of Chapora, two miles downriver from Siolim, and many excellent local restaurants

Baga beach: There are lots of activities that can be taken at nearby Baga beach which is about 20 minutes drive away, A thriving resort, Baga has a long straight beachstretching south to the South Aguada fort. Brightly coloured fishing boats are moored on the beach during the day , and you can enjoy their catch in the local restaurants and bars, Paragliding and boat trips are offered at reasonable rates.

The scenery is varied and picturesque. A small river flows into the sea at the top of the village, below a broad spur of of soft white sand, There are lots of small restaurants serving a wide variety of dishes.The 'Fiesta' a pretty Italian place and the 'Ronil Beach Hotel' both offer an excellent choice and quality of food.

Anjuna beach: Wednesday is the day of Anjuna's famous market. The market began in the 1960's when hippies auctioned off their belongings ranging from guitars to jeans,to raise cash to stay for a while longer. Since then, the market has continued and become a major attraction for tourists and backpackers. Anjuba has continued to be a hangout for hippies. because of its splendid beach. Fringed by swaying coconut palms, the white sands feel like paradise. Bathing is generally safer here, especially at the more peaceful southern end, where a rocky headland keeps the sea calm and the undertow to a minimum

Anjuna is also famous for its beach parties. Good if you like heavy techno music.

The apartment has a master bedroom with a king size bed storage below window,fitted wardrobesand bed side drawers.. Ample sorage space to put your holiday clothes. The second bedroom has two single beds that can be pushed together to form a king size bed. This bedroom has fitted wardrobes and a dressing table with drawers. There is storage space under the bay window. Two bedside lamps.

The lounge/kitchen diner is open plan and has a fully fitted kitchen with a fridge freezer, gas cooker with an oven. toaster, microwave and washing machine. There are two balconies on either side where you can sit and admire the views or overlook the swimming pool.

The apartment is cleaned before and after the rental period. If you require it to be cleaned whilst you are there, this can be arranged for a small addition charge. There is a laundry nearby and their charges are very reasonable. The gardens are well maintained and 24/7 security of the complex. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Welcome packs can be arranged at a small additional charge. Villa Maria is a few yards away from local shops where you can buy toiletries, local fresh fruit. ,meat and fish. There is a communal gym room with a sauna in the complex. The pool is cleaned daily. Internet access is available in the communal room using the dial up facility Otherwise there are nearby local shops with internet facilities for a small fee.

Lovely apartment

Our long term stay at Villa Maria was very pleasant. Peter and his staff were very helpful in responding to our requests/questions. Villa Maria complex is like an oasis with beautiful landscaping. Concur with all the previous reviews submitted.

Excellent Stay

I had visited Goa recently with my family and stayed at C4, Villa Maria for 4 nights. We has a wonderful stay and would like to thank the owner and the agency which took care of our comfortable stay in Goa. The apartment is clean and well maintained and provides all the basic requirements for a good stay. Would surely love to visit this place again in the future and will also recommend it to others. The only one additional request is to also have a pressure cooker available for use. Rest all is the facilities are excellent.

A great base to explore Goa

The apartment we rented was clean, spacious enough and had all modern amenities. The master bedroom had an en-suite bathroom whilst a separate bathroom served the other bedroom and living area. One balcony overlooked the pool whilst the other overlooked superb woodland. Even the least nature-loving visitor cannot fail to be impressed by the wide variety of birds, bats, chipmunks and even monkeys which inhabit this area. For a real treat, keep the window open at night and listen to the morning birdsong as you drift in and out of a deep sleep.

The complex itself is compact and quiet. The swimming pool and the grass surrounds are hardly used. This may be due to the fact that often both are in shade. The gym is small and consists of a multi-gym plus a few cardio machines such as a treadmill and cycle. The complex is gated and protected by security guards (not that they are needed in this friendly area). The guards asking for a tip at the end of our holiday was unnecessary.

In terms of the village, Siolim is a small, chaotic and ramshackled area. It is well worth a visit. You won’t find any gifts here as the village exists to support the local population, however, you will find some very cheap food and services (I got a haircut for 50 rupees).

As a location, Siolim is ideal as it is close to Anjuna and Baga/Calangute to the South and the quieter, beautiful beaches of Morjim and Ashwem to the north, all accessible by a 350 rupee (£4) taxi ride.

We have visited this part of Goa on 5 occasions and it never lets us down. This was our first stay at Villa Maria. Villa Maria is a great base to explore this beautiful country, meet people and enjoy the sights, sounds, smells and tastes of this little bit of paradise.

It was the best stay i could ever hope for in Goa

There is nothing less than 5 stars that I can give this apartment. It was perfect in every possible way. If you love to stay away from the hustle bustle of the city in the midst of a jungle this one is for you. But if this puts you back then let me tell you Goa is such a small state that you can drive around easily. We hired a car during our stay and travelled around daily. We were a group of 5 adults and 1 infant. I was a little worried if the flat would have all the basic things required and it had everything i could possibly think of. Its a really neat and well maintained flat. The swimming is cleaned daily( I witnessed this every day). There is a grocery shop nearby where you can get everything. The stay in the flat was just perfect and I am going to recomment this to everyone who plans to visit Goa. Thanks Parkash and Peter for the lovely stay we had. Next time I come to Goa there wont be any second thoughts about where I will be staying :)

holiday rental.

this was a beautiful 2 bed apartment. although the sauna and jacuzzi did not

work everything else was just perfect. also the security were very helpful

and always willing to help. would certainly recommend to my family and friends.

I enjoyed my trip to Goa!

Thank you! I had a lovely stay at your apartment with my family. The apartment was very clean and spacious. The balcony overlooking the pool was ideal for watching over my boys as they had fun in the pool. The local shops were very handy and there was lot's to do locally. Although the beach was a taxi ride away the public transport is very reasonable and easily accessible.

I would recommend this apartment to friends/family and if I return to Goa I would stay again!

Siolim is a village situated about 7 kilometres from Anjuna beach. There are shops nearby where you can buy groceries and eat inexpensively. It is also close to Mapusa where there is a thriving local market and shops.

Baga beach (Goa's liveliest beach is 9 kilometers away and Tito's bar (most famous nightclub in Goa). The setting is ideal because you can explore Goa by using local taxis or by hiring a motorbike and experiencing life like the locals. Local buses are a cheap way of travelling although they are old. Car rental is very reasonably priced. Explore the local North Goa beaches of Baga, Anjuna, Candolim and Calungute. There are lots of beach activities such as paragliding, jet-skiing, dolphin watching to be enjoyed at a fraction of UK prices. Enjoy the wonderful sea food which is fresh and cooked to order by local restaurants or at the beach shacks. Have a chilling holiday and get away from it all.
