Crystal View is located directly across Scenic Hwy 98 from private beach access and hundreds of yards of beautiful sugar white sandy beach. Only 16 units share this four-story building, It has off street parking and pool also along with that private beach with 2 chairs and an umbrella put up for you every day in season.

Crystal View is conveniently located on Scenic Hwy 98 approximately halfway between Destin Commons and Silver Sands Factory Stores, so you are only minutes away from shopping, the movie theater, and various restaurants. Pompano Joe's a great beachside bar and restaurant is a very, very short walk down the paved 5-mile bike/walking/jogging path. Pompano is also a great place for beach volley ball and several rental for parasailing and kayaks.

The water views from your kitchen, dining room, living room and master bedroom . The unit is 1,713 sq ft. with three bedrooms with king beds in each , three full baths, 10-foot ceilings with in open floor plan. It has a large fully equipped kitchen with everything you will need to prepare those easy breakfasts and lunches or a large elegant dinner. Best of all we are pet friendly and you can bring you pet with you. The balcony alone is almost 500 sq ft and wraps around the condominium with multiple seating areas for guests to enjoy a book, dine, or enjoy the Gulf views. There is no place better to watch the sea birds and dolphin pass quietly by from this little piece of Paradise.

A perfect little get away

We had 11 people with us [7 adults, 1 teen, 3 kids]. There was enough sleeping area for everyone and it was comfortable. The kitchen was small but served it's purpose. Pots and pans were adequate/good; the knifes were horrible--- I would recommend bring one of your own if you plan to cut anything. They had a LOT of HUGE spoons but maybe 3 dessert/teaspoons. Lots of cereal bowls and plates, but nothing larger for gumbo or stew.

Patio was nicely furnished in our condo [103]. We would have liked one of the front units on a higher floor since you really couldn't 'ocean watch' as well from our view. We've spotted dolphins many times in previous Destin trips.

Pompano Joe's was delicious but SUPER pricey---at least on our salary and it was just me and my husband! I would recommend the Snapper with Lump crab --blackened! $30.99 was pricey but we don't eat out much. Another favorite place in Destin is the Shrimp Basket. My husband LOVES their key lime pie.

The water was great and the temperature was fantastic! We went the 2nd/3rd week of August; it was high 80's with rain almost every day but it didn't get in the way of our fun.

CON - There was no lighting on the pier/boardwalk where you rinse off, so I ended up slipping and falling on my tooshie. It stung a little--my tooshie and pride. I would definitely recommend to the owners to put something so others can find the pier at night. We missed it and ended up at the next pier and had to go back to rinse off!

Overall, probably one of the best vacations we've had in a long while!

In regard to the lighting of the boardwalk, guests do need to bring their own flashlights for night time beach walking anywhere here on the gulf coast. The turtle preservation efforts here on the coast prevent us from having lights that might confuse newly hatched baby turtles. In addition to managing Crystal View 103 which is a ground floor side view condo, we manage Crystal View 401, 301 and 302 which have a great gulf view for watching the dolphins. Crystal View 103 is very convenient to the beach and still has a view of the water in addition to the ability to accommodate an extended family.

Great area and it was nice to be able to eat with restaurants within walking distance.

This is a nice property. We plan to return next year. As far as our particular condo (103); it definitely needs a thorough cleaning. The floors were sandy and furniture needed dusting. . The porch could use a good powerwashing. Had to wear shoes/sandals or our feet were literally black after walking barefoot out there. We will return but will try a different unit.

We liked the layout of the condo and had a positive experience.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. We only stayed for 3 days so the fees were a significant part of the total cost (about doubled the published rate). The condo was in good shape and the location was very nice. My only complaint is the lack of instructions. The ceiling fans did not work in the master bedroom or the main living area. We could also not get the TV to work in the master bedroom. I would guess they are in working order but after about a 1/2 hour of trying to figure them out it made more sense to just relax with out them. A cheat sheet on those thing would be helpful.

A very spacious, beautifully decorated condominium. The beach was close and just lovely!!

This is a very large condo with a wonderful wrap around outside space. The view of the ocean is not the best but the beach is a tiny walk away. Beautiful white sand and aquamarine waters! Small but sufficient pool. Parking is limited but there was always a space.

It is so convenient to the beautiful white sand beach and parking. Most guest also love the spaciousness of the condo and the ability to accommodate a large family.

We loved our stay. So close to the beach!

This was our second summer in Destin. This property was great, comfortable, nice and clean. Only one request would be beach items such as floats, noodles, ect. Some of the other guest had these items and said they were provided. I bought on and left it at the property. Al in all a great stay.

We've been vacationing in Destin for 4 years now, and this was by far our favorite place to stay!! The condo is very spacious, the pictures don't do it justice! We had 3 families and plenty of room with each family having their own bathroom. It is beautifully decorated, neat, and clean. The location is extremely convenient to the beach, making the short walk across the street an easy one. The kitchen was nicely equipped with everything we needed to cook meals. The only problem we encountered was the parking. Although we had parking passes, there were not enough parking spaces to accommodate all guests. We had to park in handicap spaces and along the fence several times, but never got a ticket, so all was well. I highly recommend Crystal View 103!! We will definitely return!!
