We had a lovely stay at your Trullo – I have been meaning to write to say how much I enjoyed it. Donagh was so helpful with everything and the swimming pool was spotless – the best we have ever had.
All his suggestions for days out were great for us – even satisfying grumpy teenagers!
I would love to come back and visit another time.
We had a great stay in this lovely house. It is very cosy, clean and fully equipped with everything needed, including Wi fi. The pool is spotless and a great size and nice touch having a diving board.
The owners, Teresa and Donagh, stay next door and were always on hand with helpful suggestions on places to visit, good beaches or recommendations for restaurants. There are some really good places to eat nearby!
Would love to come back one day. Thank you, Teresa and Donagh.
We have just returned from a fabulous stay at Trullo Paradiso. The property is enchanting with original features such as exposed stone beams and fireplace. It is comfortable and very clean, and, with teenage children, had the all important wi-fi! The swimming pool is wonderful, set in the grounds, overlooking olive groves, and the shaded area on the terrace is a great place to unwind between dips into the pool. Our hosts, Theresa and Donagh were very friendly, giving us lots of advice on local places to visit and where to eat out, always happy to help and yet not interfering in any way. They kept the garden and pool tidy throughout our stay, and gave us pears and plums picked from their trees. The location is a short drive or a 20-25 minute walk from Alberobello which is famous for its Trulli, though there are lots of other beautiful towns and pretty beaches to visit all within an hour or so. Driving is easy, the roads are good, not too busy, and the drivers don't appear to be anything like as aggressive as in the cities. A week wasn't long enough and we will return to this beautiful place.
Really unique to stay in a trullo. The short distance from town meant it was peaceful. The pool was beautiful and very welcome on hot days. The hosts, Teresa and Donnagh, were friendly and welcoming, gave us lots of tips for things to do and see plus directed us to some great restaurants. Loved it here, would recommend it and hope to return one day
Owners delightful and always helpful. Pool and property exceptionally clean. Great for a small family looking for a tranquil base to explore the area. At times the road noise disturbed us. Whilst close to town roads too dangerous to walk along with children. Good value for money.
Trullo Paradiso makes a great base for exploring this part of Puglia. It is a lovely property, well equipped and a real bonus is all the outdoor space. The pool is fabulous, a good size, beautifully clean and much enjoyed in the hot weather. Teresa and Donagh are perfect hosts - very friendly and helpful with good local restaurant recommendations. It's quiet and peaceful here, you need a car to get into town but that isn't a problem. We spent our four days here discovering the local towns and villages, visited the Caves of Castellagna, which are worth going to and enjoying chilling by the pool. Would definitely recommend Trullo Paradiso.
We had a wonderful 10 day break here. The Trulli was lovely with plenty of cosy space and a big bathroom. The outdoor space was lovely with a great covered area overlooking the pool. We spent many hours here eating lovely italian food from the local market and drinking wine and prosecco. Donagh our host noticed that we liked our prosecco and bought a wine cooler out for us. We have rented many places in Italy and this was the best pool we have had. It was lovely to have a salted pool with very little chlorine and Donagh kept it immaculate. Teressa bought us bowls of figs, apricots and plums from their trees and on the last day walnuts and hazelnuts to bring home. We had wonderful meals in local restaurants and enjoyed a Pughlia speciality - a twelve dish antipasti to share !
Donagh pointed us to a great beach and lent us loungers. Again wonderful meals by the sea. We had a marvellous day in Matera and left just as a magnificent thunderstorm lit up the town. We would recommend Trulli Paradiso to anyone wanting a relaxing holiday by the pool, with good local food and wine and plenty of places to visit if sightseeing is your thing. Also great to be so close to Brindisi Airport and no really long drives.
