An excellent value, spacious, villa 3 large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms

Situated in a quiet urbanisation this villa has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (1 is an en suite), lounge, kitchen, breakfast room and plenty of outside space with views of the Mediterranean. Close to Malaga (1 hour) and Gibraltar (25 minutes), the villa has been recently refurbished and offers couples and families an ideal holiday in the sun. There is plenty of private space with a large patio and a secure community pool which is perfect for couples and those with children. Sports are in abundance in the local area with golf and water sports being particularly popular. A 5-10 minute walk or 1 minute car journey lies between you and numerous family friendly beaches with welcoming beach bars for a daytime meal or drink. In the evenings there are numerous restaurants catering for all tastes in the nearby ports and towns. The urbanisation has a large communal pool which is quiet and relaxing. It has sunbeds and is situated in pleasant landscaped gardens.

Who will this suit?: Families can enjoy the flexibility of catering for themselves when the day has been a bit too hectic! It is a secure villa in a quiet urbanisation. The space offers parents a chance to unwind in the warm evenings on the large terrace whilst the children are tucked up. The beaches are excellent and there are many to explore and find your own private area of paradise.

Couples can enjoy the freedom to roam around the area seeking activities, water sports and the beach. Fine bars and clubs are to be found nearby with great evening entertainment. There are also spas, casinos and shopping all within easy reach.

Want a different golf course each day? If you stay a week you can and barely need the car! Golfers can lose themselves in a number of courses with spectacular views across the sea.

Our management company are on hand to assist you whenever you need it, to advise on the local area and remedy any issues you find with the villa during your visit.

Looking for activities?: The area has it all with mountains, golf, water sports, sailing, surfing, water skiing, lake skiing and knee boarding all in the area. You can choose to hire boats yourself or hire a skipper and a banana boat with doughnut rings.

Getting around: To enjoy the facility and local area at its best we recommend hiring a car. However, a taxi rank is only 250m away at the entrance to the urbanisation.

A full book of things to do, where to visit and eat out is kept at the villa. This also includes a full list of useful contact numbers and help to get your bearings of the area.

We accept longer term bookings especially during the winter months which are offered at discounted prices. These might be 2-3 months for those who live in Northern Europe and want to escape the harsh winter or a longer stay for those who work in the area.

  • The two bedrooms with single beds can be used as a double or twin room since the layout is flexible. The bed side tables can be used to separate the beds if sleeping arrangements require. All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes with bedside tables. The rooms are fitted with mosquito nets to allow you to leave the sliding doors to each room open during the warm evenings keeping out those uninvited guests! All windows have secured grilles allowing excellent security. All bedrooms are decorated in a modern style and have been recently refurbished to a very high quality. Cots can be provided for babies for a small charge. The new extended master bedroom has a large en suite bathroom with walk in shower.

The villa has two steps leading from the lounge to the breakfast room and 2 steps to the kitchen so renters should bear this in mind. During the winter heating is via efficient electric radiators and fire. There is a large, efficient fan for cooling off in the lounge on the long hot days in the summer. Towels are provided but guests should bring their own beach towels.

Family of 4 stayed June 2014

We recently returned from our family holiday at the villa in June 2014 and had a lovely time at this well maintained villa. Everything was just as we expected, we were very pleased when we arrived that the villa was spotlessly clean and in great condition - it felt like somebody's home rather than a rental property. Everything was in great condition and there were some nice quality furnishings which you may not expect usually.

The villa was very well equipped- plenty of kitchenware/dinnerware, lots of patio furniture and parasols as well as a nice breakfast area for eating inside (useful for our small children on various occasions to have a break from the sunshine).

There is a beautiful master bedroom and en suite which has been finished with high quality fittings including a lovely walk in shower.

As we took our children aged 2 and 4 some of the most important aspects obviously were safety and security and I was so pleased that the villa and its layout were just as we would have hoped in this respect. - All on one level (except a couple of small steps around the kitchen area), a nice spacious level patio area and completely enclosed with a gated side entrance and gated driveway. We felt very safe around the villa. The only one small exception was a few steps from the patio down to the driveway, we were worried about our children potentially falling whilst playing so we simply lay a sunbed across to close it off which worked quite nicely !

The villa is a very short walk from the shared pool which is very well maintained and has a great paddling area, the pool was never busy. Although the beach is very close by, due to the main road between the beach and urbanisation is wasn't safe to walk with the children which was a shame as we had envisaged being able to walk through the urbanisation to the beach, however it was a 2 minute drive in the car so no big deal.

The owners Roger and Lucy were very helpful indeed leading up to our holiday, providing information regarding the villa, the location and great directions from the airport.

We would definitely recommend the villa for families with young children, and would consider returning for a future holiday.

Owner's Response: The provides good comfortable accommodation for a fair price and naturally any building has trip falls for very little ones. Having seen 3 children grow up there we know all about that! Taking the usual precautions will ensure a good holiday can be enjoyed!

Relax and comfort in Costa del Sol

We've spent a great week in the villa Bahia De Casares!!

The villa was exactly as we expected..or even better: spacious, modern, clean, well-equipped and maintened.

Towels and bed-lines are provided and clean.

The swimming pool is well maintened and never crowded, there are some umbrellas and beach chairs so we enjoyed a lot of our time there, when the sea water was too rough.

The villa is situated in a very nice village and is in a "strategic"point to reach a lot of point of interest: Gibraltar, the "white villages" in the countryside (Casares,Ronda,Guacin,..), the super-nice town of Tarifa and its windy but wonderful beaches of Bolonia and Valdevaqueros..

The owner was very, very kind and provided us with very accurated information about the villa, the furniture, the way to reach the villa.. Before arriving, we already know everything about the house and its neighbourhood:)

As we spent a very good holiday there, I would absolutely recommen this villa to everybody who wants to relax and visit a bit of Andalucia!

Summer 2013

Second visit in as many years. Improvements to property are first class, larger patio area and en suite master bedroom.

Weather excellent again, and I enjoyed the drive down, and back, on the first class French and Spanish roads.

On site pool as ever very clean, very warm and never busy.

Mooi huis in rustige omgeving

Prachtig huis in Bahia de Casares gehuurd. Huis was groot en schoon. Wanneer je de omgeving van de Costa del Sol wilt verkennen, ligt dit huis mooi centraal. uiteraard wel auto nodig. Leuke knusse dorpjes. Huis ligt in een rustige woonwijk. Zwembad konden we eerst niet vinden. Eigendom van meerdere verhuurders. Open vanaf 1 mei, lag er netjes bij.

Huis is zeker een aanrader wanneer je de omgeving wilt verkennen in combinatie met strandvakantie.

Vooraf goed contact met de eigenaar via mail. Zeer behulpzaam.

Owner's Response: We are always delighted to have really positive comments from European guests. The communal pool is available from 1st May usually to the end of September. It is normally just a little too chilly outside of these times.

Very pleasant, with fine weather, the coleil, heat.

Excellente location

Nous avons passé une très agréable semaine en vacances à Bahia de Casares en août 2012. La location est telle que décrite. Elle est très bien située et permet de faire de nombreuses visites dans la région. La villa est particulièrement bien équipée, propre et très confortable. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié les matelas des lits d'une très grande qualité. L'endroit est très calme en étant très proche de la mer. Nous avons également pu profiter de la piscine commune à la résidence. Elle est très grande pour peu d'utilisateurs ce qui est très appréciable.

Nous recommandons sans hésiter cette location.

The villa is situated 6 km west of Estepona and 2 km east of the town of Sabinillas. It is approximately 250 metres from the coast with some sea views. Situated at the end of a cul-de-sac there is barely any passing traffic. The town of Estepona has numerous shopping facilities and nearby Marbella offers a major shopping centre. Gibraltar is a 20 minute drive providing excellent shopping and dolphin trips. There are excellent beaches nearby with beach bars, cafes and restaurants. There are many golf courses in the local area and water sports are in abundance. Horse riding, lake water skiing, spa hotels, sailing, water parks and a safari park are all close by. The towns and villages of Mijas, Casares, Gaucin, Coin, Ujen, Mijas and Cadiz, Rhonda and Algeciras are all within a short drive. For the more adventurous you can catch a ferry from Algeciras and Tarifa to spend a day or more in Morocco. Alternatively, you can just lay back by the pool with a good book and enjoy the sunshine!
