Beautiful link detached villa, with sunny south facing garden offering spectacular open views of mountains and sea in the distance.The house is furnished to a very high standard with all mod cons and comfortable beds! It has a covered terrace for outdoor dining and a balcony with amazing views. A flight of steps leads down from the garden to a large communal pool. The living area is spacious and airy, with gas central heating when needed and ceiling fans in all bedrooms. We have recently installed high speed fibre internet. The house is great for families with nearby safe sandy beaches at Denia and Javea, and Benidorm 30 mins drive away with its variety of theme, nature and water parks. There are many restaurants and bars to choose from in the surrounding villages, and a new shopping mall nearby. Gata village (2 km), famed for its crafts, also boasts a walkway along the gorge of the river Gorgos; there are many rural walks and drives over mountain passes nearby. A wonderful place in the sun
After a long hard British Winter we couldn't wait to come back and were once again delighted that we chose to spend our holiday in this lovely home.
The facilities were as always immaculate, and we were delighted to find that the helpful owners had now added new WiFi and Satellite which added to our enjoyment enormously with reliably strong signals and fast connection.
During our stay we ventured out to discover some wonderful new restaurants and beaches in the area , whilst also returning to some established favourites, and it has only whetted our appetite to return for more.
We will look to coming back next time.

Pour la 2ème année consécutive , nous avons loué cette très jolie maison (14-28 July 2018 ) .
On y est comme chez soi , rien ne manque dans cette très agréable maison .
Comme l'année dernière , nous étions 4 adultes ( 2 couples ) et chacun a pû apprécier la configuration de la maison qui permet une grande indépendance .
La piscine est tout près et souvent déserte . Environnement très calme et point de départ idéal pour découvrir la région .

Lovely villa. Top locationfor biking and walking
The property was well presented with all the facilities we could have wanted and a very helpful local representative in Anne. The wifi was excellent and the TV enabled us to enjoy the denoument of the Six Nations rugby.
Our primary reasons for choosing this villa was its location which allowed us to do as much mountain walking as we desired with all standards available within a short drive. We also took our road bikes and were able to use the local Via Verde when we wanted an easy ride and when 'testing' rides were wanted there was a good choice available - I want to go back when I am a bit fitter!
During our visit the weather was colder than usual, that did not stop us enjoying the panoramic views from the balcony but did mean that we did not use the shared pool and meals on the patio were restricted to breakfast on the sunny, wind free mornings.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you Linda for making your property available for us to use.

A lovely holiday home basking in the Spanish sun.
This a a wonderful location for a stress free holiday with all the facilities to help you relax and feel at home. The house is immaculate with a nice kitchen, a spacious lounge with excellent WI-fi, good satellite TV, and 3 comfortable bedrooms. The south facing patio and communal pool have wonderful panoramic views of the surrounding hills with the sea glinting in the distance, and there are some spectacular sunrises and sunsets to enjoy.
The owner couldn't have been more helpful, and we enjoyed it so much on our visit in May 2017 we came back for two more weeks n October, and are counting the days until we can return next year.

Would highly recommend this tranquil house
This was our second time staying in this property. It is a very clean and well presented house. The pool is very close to the property. We thoroughly enjoy the tranquillity of the setting and the beautiful views . I would definitely recommend this property to others. Great customer service from the owner of the property.

Nous avons séjourné dans cette maison du 29/7 au 12/8/2017, mon mari et moi-même, accompagnés de trois adolescents.
Côté séjour : nous avons passé d'agréables moments à Gata de Gorgos, avec un surberbe temps, des activités à faire comme la montagne et la plage, ainsi que profiter d'un grande piscine. La résidence est bien située, dans un beau petit quartier résidentiel.
Côté maison : quelques déceptions comme le wifi qui ne fonctionnait pas du tout. Très peu de vaisselle à disposition dans la cuisine et quand nous étions sur la terrasse, nous voyons en contrebas l'autoroute (avec un bruit sourd régulier)... la propriétaire ne l'a malheureusement pas stipulé dans l'annonce, tout comme la piscine qui était commune avec huit autres maisons.
En résumé, de bonnes vacances dans ce beaux pays qu'est l'Espagne, mais dommage que l'annonce ne reflétait pas exactement la situation des photos de la maison.
Nous sommes contents que vous avez passe de bonnes vacances chez nous.
Je regrette que vous avez eu de problemes avec le wi fi; j'imagine qu'il n'y avait pas suffisant de 'broad band' pour trois personnes jeunes; nous allons changer le systeme au fibre optic quand possible.
Dans l'annonce c'est stipule plusieurs fois que c'est une piscine commune et aussi j'ai explique ca pour email personal.
La maison est situee sur une colline et assez loin de la maison il y a une autoroute peage qui passe pour la vallee au dessus. En general il n'y a pas beaucoup de circulation parce que c'est un peage, mais evidament il y avait beaucoup plus de circulation que normal au comencement d'aout.
Je suis desolee qu'il n'y avait pas sufisant de vaisselle pour votre famille; autres visiteurs ont dit que la cuisine est tres bien equipee et nous voulons toujours assurer que nous visiteurs sont tres commodes chez nous. Je vais repasser tout l'equipement et mettre ce qu'il manque. Pour nos visiteurs dans l'avenir s'il manque quelque chose on peut toujours demander a notre femme de menage.
The house is situated on a hillside overlooking mountains, especially the beautiful Montgo mountain,and in the distance the sea and beach at Javea. The communal pool is accessed via steps from our garden. The nearest village Gata de Gorgos remains typically Spanish and is famed for its rural crafts, especially basketwork. It has several restaurants and bars. There is a large new shopping mall and supermarket 5kms away; the beautiful beaches at Javea and Denia are about 15 mins drive. Benidorm with its theme parks Terra Mitica, Mundomar and Aqualandia (water park) are about 30 mins from here. Inland there are many rural walks and spectacular drives over mountain passes, and we keep books outlining some of these in the house. There is a 18 hole golf course at La Sella 10 mins away and 9 hole at Javea; it is a golfers paradise with numerous courses less than an hour away. Valencia and Alicante cities are both easily accessible by car or by train/bus from nearby stations. There are several riding stables in the area.
Payment can be made in either Euros or GBP, by bank transfer, cheque or credit card via Paypal. We require a non returnable deposit of £150 to secure any reservation, and the balance is payable 8 weeks before arrival. A security deposit of £100 is payable in advance, and will be returned after we have checked the house for damage,breakages etc. LONG TERM LETS (TWO MONTHS OR MORE) BETWEEN SEPTEMBER AND MARCH ONLY £500/€550 PER CALENDAR MONTH PLUS UTILITY BILLS We can arrange a welcome pack to be placed in the house for a small extra charge. Please note there is an additional housekeeping charge for stays of less than one week.
