We love staying in Seascape, and have stayed there multiple times over the past 20 years. This was our first time in this unit. The condo was cute and it is a very short walk to the beach.
The problem began on check-in. We called when we arrived after a long drive, hoping to get in early. We were told it had been cleaned, but not inspected. We understood and sat in our car to wait. We still had not received the code for the door an hour after our 4:00 check in time, so we called again. They sent us the code, even though it still had not been inspected. There were some issues... dirty, wet cleaning rag on the bed, dirty handprint smear on the wall, a shelf in the refrigerator had a broken part, etc. We took pictures, then decided to clean the condo on our own, considering Covid. We were just ready to enjoy our stay and didn’t want to deal with the manager at Young’s Suncoast again. We will rent through individuals from now on. We’ve had very good luck when not staying in a condo rented through a booking agent.
