About this property

'Tennessee Tahoe': Cozy Cabin on Tims Ford Lake with Two Level Dock

A great place to relax and enjoy the best that lake life has to offer. This quaint 2-level home is located on a quiet slough, yet convenient to the main channel. A two level dock provides ample room to spread out and enjoy swimming, sunbathing, fishing, boating, canoeing.
The house is located in a small two cul-de-sac neighborhood with no thru traffic which makes a great setting for walks and biking.
The main living level includes a living area with stone fireplace, kitchen, two bedrooms, a full bath with dual vanities, and a rear deck with porch swings and pub table overlooking the dock and lake.
A spiral staircase leads to the lower level consisting of a den area, bar/fridge, game table, bedroom, bathroom, a nautical themed kid's bunk room with 6 bunks, a small dry sauna, and a rear patio with chaise lounge chairs.
The home offers many different areas (living areas, deck, patio, dock) for guests to congregate in smaller groups and enjoy varied activities

Tims Ford Lake is a beautiful deep water lake with many fingers extending in between the surrounding hills. With over 350 miles of shoreline, there are plenty of areas to explore and enjoy the beauty of the lake.
For boaters, the dock includes a lift and two jet-ski floats. Popular water sports include water skiing, tubing, and wake boarding.
If fishing is a priority for your group, Tim's Ford is well known as a great small-mouth bass and striped bass lake. Large mouth bass, crappie, and catfish are also plentiful and area marinas provide leads on local guides that can put you on the fish.
If you chose to explore the surrounding area, there are many destinations to chose from, including charming downtown Winchester with shops, restaurants, and The Old Jail Museum; Tims Ford State Park with Bear Trace golfing as well as hiking, biking; Jack Daniels Distillery and Ms Bobo's restaurant in nearby Lynchburg; the Blue Gill Grill at Holiday Marina; Granny Fish's Restaurant in Tullahoma; and endless other intriguing sights.

Tennesse paradise
This cottage was everything we could’ve wanted and more! The owners have thought of everything!! Our favorite part was the dock. We spent majority of our stay in the waters off the dock or fishing off the dock. We only left the house once the whole 5 days we were there. The house was very spacious and it was nice having the covered porches when it rained on the last night. We will definitely be returning in the future when we make our way back to Tennessee!

Overall a good stay!
House and dock were very nice. The pathway to get down to the lake was a bit rough and steep. One of the older steps was rotten. Stairs need to be done all the way to the dock with hand rails. House was a little dusty but overall clean. We only were given one extra trash bag and no extra toilet paper or paper towel, we did have to buy those when we got there. Didn’t care for the spiral stair case, very hard for older or larger people to go up and down. Host was very nice and quick to answer any questions. The neighbor next door either used his leaf blower most of the day or pressure washed all day so it wasn’t very quiet. Overall though we had a great family weekend.

Tims Ford Lake is in a beautiful setting in an area of rich heritage and tradition. The easy commute from major regional population centers (Chattanooga, Huntsville, Nashville, Atlanta) was also a point of interest.

What makes this property unique
