Fantastic stay

  • 4 of 5

What a lovel lodge, lovely quiet location not overlooked really clean everything we needed was available, gave it 4stars only because it’s slightly dated but still very comfortable would definitely recommend and would rebook for ourselves.

A peaceful getaway.

  • 4 of 5

The lodge is in a remarkably quiet location even though it is situated close to other lodges. ( Net curtains essential!) Certainly this part of the park appeared to be only 25% occupied during our stay. The central complex was quite busy however. We found the lodge clean and tidy and well equipped. The only downside was the occasional "drains" smell when we used the washing machine. Had no problems with the WiFi, although it was a bit slow (1.5Mb/s) which took a bit of getting used to.

The park facilities were very convenient, and you certainly paid for that convenience in the shop.We enjoyed the indoor swimming pool but like others before us were not impressed with the food in the bar/restaurant. Service was slow (25 mins for a round of sandwiches) and the quality was disappointing. Below the normal standard of "pub grub".

Would we go again? - yes!

Cosy, clean and full of home comforts

  • 4 of 5

Just got back from a 5 day break with my two young sons. Despite the weather we had a lovely time. The lodge is cosy yet has plenty of space, was clean and full of everything you require for self catering. The owner John was very responsive during the booking process and provided all the information needed. The boys loved the swimming pool on site too. I would definitely recommend this property to others.

Grest time had by all

  • 5 of 5

Everything was great, it was lovely and quiet, The only let down was the restaurant. 10 people waiting to be served only 1 on till to put an order in. Waiting tome 40 min then told they had ran out of rice. But the log cabin was everything you would want.
