Wonderful Villa in beautiful setting

  • 3 of 5

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely villa. The accommodation was superb and the friendly owners made everything as easy as possible. This is the perfect spot to unwind and relax and also the restaurant in the village at the bottom of the hill was excellent.

Overall a wonderful time and we would love to visit again.

Amazing Tuscan Villa

  • 5 of 5

I stayed at the villa with seven of my friends for a week. It was a wonderful experience for us all. As soon as we arrived we fell in love with the house. Giulio and his father were so helpful during our stay. We had one minor issue with the washing machine but it was handled quickly.

Also, I took the advice from one of the earlier reviews and we scheduled a chef to come out to the villa to prepare dinner for us one night. It was absolutely the best meal we had while in Tuscany!!

Thanks for making our vacation in Italy so a memorable and wonderful experience.

Très bon logement

  • 5 of 5

"Perfect place to stay"

  • 5 of 5

We rented the house for four weeks. From time to time we had guests. When we decided to rent the villa for such a long time we where a bit nervous. In the past we have experienced a number of incidents in US, England, Cornwall and elsewhere. This property was eventually more than anyone can expect. Every aspect of our stay is memorable and the owners maintained the property discrete and in a way that is impressive. Kind and friendly people also. No drawbacks? Well, one thing can be improved. We had to by knifes. The ones in the kitchen had seen better days. No matter what you tried to cut, it gave to much resistance for the poor knifes... But an investment of € 20 solved the problem. I'm sure the owners had provided us with knifes if we had asked them, but everything else was so nice and perfect that we didn't want to make a rather silly complain. If possible, we will most certainly return.

Great setting

  • 5 of 5

8 of us stayed (4 adults, 4kids) at the property and we have had a marvellous time. It is isolated on a hill but the view is second to none particularly from the swimming pool. We all spent a lot of time around the pool as you don't really get tired of the view you get from there. Kids loved exploring around the house. It is conveniently located for day trips to Pisa, Lucca and Florence. There are also plenty of typical villages to explore nearby. Giulio was a great host. The house is full of character and our first experience of Tuscany was a complete success. A week was not enough though :)

Great Villa in Tuscany

  • 5 of 5

This was our second visit to this villa, which by itself indicates how much we like it. The house is very comfortable for up to 8-10 people and the owner is easy to reach and very responsive. It is extremely well-maintained and the views are unbelievable. The location is great for all the main attractions in Tuscany. The swimming pool is a real treat. It is large, very clean and only lightly chlorinated. It is very uncommon for us to return twice to the same vacation location but this house (and Tuscany) was worth making an exception.

Car: recommended

The good location of the our houses is an ideal point of departure for excursions to artistic town such as Lucca, Pisa and Florence.

Lucca is surrounded by the famous walls by perimeter of 4,25 Km. On the inside we find art and history monuments of different ages: the Roman Amphitheatre, the Basilica of St. Frediano, the Square and the Church of St. Michele...

Pisa, famous all over the world for its Leaning Tower which dominates and exalts the magnificence of the Cathedral Square, boasts a millenary history which mostly developed at the time of the Maritime Republics.

Florence keeps an exceptional artistic heritage which is a marvellous evidence of its aged culture.

For lovers of winter and snow, it is possible to reach at 40 km the ski slopes of Abetone, or on the side of Bolognese Apennine.

For kiddies we suggest to visit Collodi the Park of Pinocchio, that represents an actual open-air museum that recalls the adventures of the most famous puppet in the world.
