The quiet village with picturesque harbour boasts an award-winning restaurant, a wine bar and a traditional pub as well as a coffee shop and grocery/newsagent, all within walking distance of Cove Avenue

Great place

We stayed there for 2 weeks (family of 4), absolutely loved it. Its in a great location, has everything provided, 5 minute walk to the beach .

The house itself is lovely, really spacious and a great conservatory/sunroom which gives beautiful views of Belfast lough. Bedrooms are all very spacious, as is the living room. The kitchen is well equipped.

I would highly recommend this house if you are visiting the Belfast / North Down area.

good pre-christmas holiday

we stayed in this house in groomsport just prior to chrismas of 2009 and found it to have lovely views of the sea and it was also very cosy and well equipped. It proved to be an excellent location for our family holiday and we would gladly recommend it others.

Golf: There are many superb golf courses in Northern Ireland - the closest one is at Donaghadee just 2 miles up the road (away from Bangor).
