Adorable Downtown Apartment

Bedrooms 2
Space 900 sq ft
Property type apartment
Minimum Stay 2 - 3 nights

About the property

Right in Historic Downtown St. Augustine

Bright, sunny and brand new, you'll love spending time in this cozy apartment centrally located in one of St. Augustine's coolest neighborhoods. Best breakfast and lunch in town is just a flight of stairs down and a hop, skip to downtown attractions!

The Space

This adorable little 2 bedroom apartment is located in one of St. Augustine's coolest neighborhoods. It's perched atop a local fave, The Blue Hen Cafe. Each bedroom feels like you are nestled in the trees. There is beautiful new kitchen for the times when you want to stay in and cook. Relax with friends before you head out to explore the ancient city. Two bedrooms have pretty views of the spanish moss covered trees and quaint little street.

Guest Access

This whole apartment is yours for the taking! Enjoy it's sunny disposition and the neighborhood offerings.

Interaction with Guests

We live pretty close to the loft. If you need us for anything, we are just a phone call or text away. You most likely won't see us, as there is no need for keys. We'll give you the access code to get in.

The Neighborhood

The neighborhood is one of the most sought out places to live due to it's prime location, unique local flair and some of St. Augustine's coolest new restaurants like The Ice Plant and Distillery ( you have to try their handcrafted cocktails!) and The Blue Hen Cafe ( most yummy breakfast and lunch). On Sundays there is a farmers market at the very end of Riberia St. (the street you are on) at Eddie Vickers Park. In that park is also a playground and a public pool at the Wille Gallimore Center. The past 3 summers it has been free thanks to the Jacksonville Jaguars. There is a scooter and bike rental shop at the corner of King St. and Riberia, along with more restaurants like Flavors eatery and a fancy new burger joint called The Burger House 123. (Although, we think the Ice Plant Burger is the best!)

Getting Around

You can walk to downtown to most of the attractions and even catch the Red trolly that takes you around downtown. Like we mentioned before, the scooter/ bike rental shop is at the end of Riberia St. To get to Vilano or St. Augustine Beach, we recommend driving.

Other Things to Note

If you need any baby related items such as a pack n play, a side bedrail or highchair, don't hesitate to ask.

Wonderful Experience

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay February 25 - March 5/18 very much! The apartment is as advertised, well supplied/furnished, clean, spacious with an excellent kitchen and large size washer and dryer. Importantly, the beds were comfortable allowing for good sleeps. We are senior citizens in our mid 70's but were able to easily walk to the historic district. This was our first visit to St Augustine and when we return, we would plan to stay at this condo unit again.

We were a little concerned about the Blue Hen Café below the unit and there is street noise in the morning with traffic and people talking, but this proved not to be a problem for us. Also, night time traffic was minimal. One improvement would be for darkening window coverings in the bedrooms.

Owners David and Jenna stayed in touch and were most responsive and helpful.

Great size. Very good location. Super kitchen. Needs improvement on rug & window shades. Quiet

  • 4 of 5

We really liked the location. Owners hugely helpful & resourceful. Gave us great variety of things to see & do.

St. Augustine is foodie paradise so our location was particularly useful. Too bad the Lincolnville sights were mostly closed during the week. City Could do a better job of showcasing Lincolnville’s history then the Trolley “drive by”. Great stay. Highly. Recommended by us. Eat at Blue Hen Cafe below the apartment. Awesome food. Personal touch by owners was exceptional. Made us welcomed like friends rather than clients.

Excellent condition

  • 4 of 5

My wife and I enjoyed our time in this apartment. It was in great condition and is a 10 minute walk from Old Town. The only downside is that the unit is above a popular breakfast spot, so you will hear patrons coming and going early in the morning.

Great place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

Very nice apartment with lots of room. Quiet neighborhood overall. There was some excitement with police on our last night (Halloween) but everything was handled. You can hear people talking as they walk by & cars on the road. But there weren't many.

Owners are great. Checked on us the night we arrived & were very helpful. Everything is provided for you &, unlike other rentals, they take care of everything when you leave. We were very comfortable our whole stay & plan on staying there again.
