Experience Life at Maritime by Stay Alfred |

Built in 1893, The Maritime building was recently fully renovated and converted into upscale residences. As the first skyscraper in New Orleans, the building is now on the National Register of Historic Places. During the renovation, traditional elements were preserved, giving this property both old and new charm. |

Your condo features an open concept floorplan with large windows which make the space feel open and airy. The light, coffee colored bamboo floors, from the living room to the bedroom, glisten in the windows' light. The kitchen is stunning, with dark wood cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, and granite countertops. It is sure to make meal prep a treat. |

This two bedroom, two bath condo offers a king size bed, queen size bed, and queen size pull-out sofa sleeper to comfortably accommodate up to six people. Huge, sliding bamboo walls divide each bedroom from the living room. The master suite features a private bathroom. And the second full bathroom guarantees nobody's sleep or privacy will be disturbed. |

There is plenty of room to spread out and enjoy all the creature comforts of home. You'll even have a washer and dryer at your disposal. Plenty of amenities are available throughout the building as well. The fitness center features a "sky view" ceiling and sauna and steam rooms. To cool off, take a dip in the rooftop pool. |

Exploring the city couldn't be easier from the Maritime's central New Orleans location. You are just a block from Canal Street and all the dining, shopping, and nightlife it has to offer. If you need more family friendly attractions, just hop on the trolley and head to the Canal Street Station. There you'll find the Audubon Aquarium of the Americas which also has an IMAX theater. No matter what you are looking for, the Maritime puts you close to it all. |

Let Stay Alfred host your next trip to New Orleans. |

Neat condo. Close to everything we needed

  • 3 of 5

We liked the condo and it was close to everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. One of the beds had dirty sheets though. It would’ve been nice to have a TV in both bedrooms Most of the door men were very nice and helpful except one guy that was very rude about us having trouble using the front door sensor to get in.

Great Location

  • 4 of 5

The common street unit met our expectations. It worked well for our needs. We did feel a more intense cleaning was needed prior to arrival. Overall I would recommend this unit.

800 Common

  • 4 of 5

Overall we lovee the apartment - location, apartment layout, kitchen.

The apartment wasn't as clean as we expected, but the Stay Alfred manager promptly addressed it by cleaning it herself. The internet in the building was weak and sporadic.

Centralized location near great venues

  • 4 of 5

A bit small, but excellent use of space. We had two married couples here and we didn't feel on top of each other. Having the kitchen is great. It is only a couple blocks from the quarter. Close enough to feel like you're staying in the quarter...without the partying of the quarter. Pool and workout on the top floor were nice extras. The only con was that you have to find your own parking...we were there for four days and it was $80. Not bad...there are a lot of parking options just be aware.

Adequate accommodations

  • 3 of 5

Overall, it was a nice facility and unit. I was a bit surprised that some commonly used items (toilet paper, trash bags, etc) weren’t supplied. It was apparent that this building was well used. Not sure if that’s due to the age or frequency of visitors. The beds in the unit were quite old and weren’t very comfortable. Just seemed that the unit could use a refresh. The staff in the building were very helpful and nice to work with. It sounded like there were a few parties going on in a couple of the units, which was surprising given the no parties policy. I’d consider other options before staying here again.

Great location and nice staff

  • 4 of 5

Condo was very nice, the staff, although not employees of the rental company, were very nice. The location was great and just outside of the Quarter. The washer/dryer combo in the unit did not work, however, and there could have been more towels in the unit because of this issue.
