Other Things to Note
This is a studio apartment. It fits 3 people however keep in mind the bedroom is not separate (see pictures). The bed is large and comfortable and the couch is a single person sleeper (converts).
I'm a hardworking and friendly New Yorker. I love to host guests and find pleasure in helping people get to know my wonderful city. I transplanted to NYC about 10 years ago and fell in love with the city the moment I arrived.
The location is perfect to have as a base while you check out this incredible city.
It's Chinatown so don't expect the facade to be splendid, It's got character. Very convenient location plus you cant beat the price. Only issue was the bed needs a new mattress. (I could feel the springs)
This is a great little apartment in an excellent location, and the owner was very friendly and helpful. The mattress really took away from the enjoyment of our stay though, and we didn't get one good nights sleep. If not for the mattress it would have been 5 stars.
My husband and I loved our stay at this property! It's cozy, updated, and close to great food, shopping, and the subway. The owners were very flexible with check in and made everything easy for us. We would definitely stay here again!
The location of the property was nice, right on the edge of China Town and Little Italy. We were able to check out the Feast of San Gennaro just a block away from the property. Starbucks was close by, and there was easy access to the Subway. The apartment is small, but clean and has everything that you need. While it does have a pull out "couch", it isn't really a couch. It is a foam pad that unfolds, and the bottom third is unpadded. It would probably be ok for a child, but for an adult it wasn't a great place to sleep for three days. It also completely blocks the main bed from the bathroom - so if you have any mobility issues, getting to the bathroom in the middle of then night can be tricky.
Check in was easy and quick.
These property is well located and the apartment it self it is in good conditions but , the entrance. Is terrible dirty and in not good aspect
This studio apartment in Chinatown/Little Italy was just what we needed. We knew we wouldn't be spending much time there, with all there is to do in NYC, so we wanted something simple and affordable. This place filled the bill.
I was a little dismayed by the entrance to the building, which had construction going on. There was trash and clutter everywhere, and lots of noise. But once we got to the apartment, it looked just as shown in the photos. Edard's brother met us with the keys. The bed was fine, plenty of towels provided, the TV worked, and it was nice having a full-sized refrigerator, a stove and microwave. Not a lot of extra space, but okay for the two of us. It is very close to several subway stations, which was very handy. Lots of restaurants nearby (Asian and Italian -- don't miss Lombardi's Pizza, just about five blocks away). The nearest small grocery store was a bit of a walk.
The air conditioning worked, but was very noisy. We had to turn it off at night. Stairs up to the second floor were steep and narrow. We ended up buying paper towels and bar soap (for the shower), and we re-washed some of the dishes, but those were minor details.
Don't expect ritzy! This is a Spartan kind of place. My husband called it "quirky." If you are open to that, this place might work for you, too!
Perfect location and you're only a block from the subway and walking distance to many many landmarks and destinations such as retail, restaurants, bars, shopping, sightseeing.
