A beautiful town house in a quiet rural area only 10 mins from Santa Ponsa

Superbly spacious 3 bedroom Townhouse set in a family orientated complex with outdoor communal pool & gardens. Property has an open plan design sitting/dining area & kitchen. There are 2 double bedrooms (1 is ensuite) & 1 twin bedroom.All bedrooms have air con/heating. Great for summer & winter rentals due to its great location & of course the wonderful Mallorcan weather all year round. Located close to Portals Nous, Palmanova & Santa Ponsa. Nearest supermarkets, shops & banks are only 5 minutes drive away. Palma itself with its breathtaking Cathedral & magical tapas bars is only 20 mins drive. It is recommended to rent a car when renting this property as this makes life easier for shopping & sighteeing etc,even though the taxi services in Mallorca are brilliant.

Just back from sol de Mallorca! House is perfect for a family of 5/6, 3 bedrooms on 1 floor all with air con, galley kitchen with dining & lounge on entrance floor with balcony for all fresco dining & sun roof with utility off it up top. Really great house which is close to 2 beaches but you would need a car or bikes! Market down the street is really good with Aldi 10 mins away. Pool is quiet & well maintained. I just emailed James to rebook for next year!!

Quiet and spacious

Large spacious house, lovely pool, was never busy. Very quiet area, car is recommended to get around. Used the roof terrace a lot at night when little one was in bed, great for BBQ as well. Would have give it 5 stars but missed having air con in main living area as weather was still really hot first week in September, but the air con in bedrooms is fine, nice and quiet. Beds are comfortable and shutters make them nice and dark. There is a lovely little grocery shop just up the road, and a nice restaurant Pinos a short stroll away as well. Waterpark in magaluf is a short drive away which we enjoyed. Would definitely stay there again. Great value for the money! Booked at very short notice, James very helpful, and also Claire who looks after the property there.

Lines from Majorca

It was a quintuple celebration for us. Our friends 80th birthday, our sons 23rd birthday, meeting up with our daughter who had been working the season on one of the luxury mega-yachts moored in Palma harbour, our 37th. wedding anniversary and........oh yes James's townhouse of course!

The accomodation was all we could have wished for. Clean, quiet and comfortable. It was an easy walk to the Gran Casino night spot where our daughter treated us to an excellent musical spectacular.

A car is a must! There really is so much to see, we clocked up well over 1,000 miles in the first week.

The north west coastline of Majorca has to be seen to be believed. Beware though of the tram ride in Soller, a little pricey we thought at €4 one way, mind you, we had no idea what the toll road to Soller might have cost!

Visit Alcudia, take the breath taking mountain track out to the lighthouse at Cap de Formentor, Majorcas most northerly point, from here we could see Menorca!

If you enjoy caves, you will be spoilt for choice-so many, we visited The Caves of Drach complete with a mini underground concert set on Europes largest underground lake.

If, like us you're the outdoor type-a visit to one of the huge Decathlon stores is a must. They are like Millets on steroids, and we found the prices to be very reasonable.

If you decide to drive down from the UK, allow plenty of time when you leave the island to find the right ferry terminal in Palma-it was very confusing.

That said, if we should visit Majorca again we would certainly consider booking James's home again.

Our stay in March

A beautiful house that is very well equiped. We didnt want for anything. An excellent base for exploring the island. The house was immaculate. We had a problem with the directions pulled off google and got seriuosly lost but James was on the end of the phone in the UK and gave his time to talk us through. He was brilliant. Went to see the Caves of Drach well worth the visit and the entrance fees were sensible. Calvia Market is well worth going to got some excellent tapas from one of the stalls to take back. Visited many of the ports and went to Soller in the north very pretty and recomend take the tram ride down to the port. We fully self cater and found the prices on par with UK but the quality is far better in Malorca. Would recommend to any one to stay here.

Triplex très agréable et bien situé

Nous avons eu l'agréable surprise de découvrir un appartement original spacieux, lumineux, calme et propre. Nous étions accompagné de trois ados. Chacun pouvait avoir un coin tranquille surtout ma fille qui devait travailler pour ses études. Nous avons apprécié la piscine salée et les nombreuses calanques. L'endroit est charmant et à proximité de l'autoroute. Il est très facile de se déplacer (en voiture) pour aller à Palma, au nord de l'ile et sur la côte ouest. Ce fut un excellent séjour. Merci à James !

Property is 10 mins drive from the sandy beaches of Santa Ponsa,Palmanova & Puerto Portals. There are 3 large supermarkets within 10 mins drive of the property. Property is a 10 minute drive from Magaluf with all it's English shops,great beaches, water parks & night time shows but at the same time is far enough away to be completely quiet at nighttime. There are 5 fantastic golf courses all within 15 minute drive including Santa Ponsa golf & Son Quint golf course which is situated in the Arabella resort in Son Vida. Palma itself is only 20 mins drive & offers one of the largest & most beautiful Cathedrals in Europe as well many fantastic restaurants & tapas bars. Heading West you can find Soller only 40 mins drive with its great tram ride down to the port as well as heading North to Pollensa which is just over an hours drive.

Other Activities: Marineland,Go karting, Water parks, Ten pin bowling.
