For young children there are a nursery slope (new from season 17/18), sledding slope, nursery/daycare and play area directly in front of the apartment block. Nendaz has Family Accreditation with many other facilities for children.
For everyone there are a great selection of bars, restaurants, shops, sporting facilities and spa within easy walking distance.
You have direct access to the indoor heated pool (approx 20m long), sauna (all year) and pool terrace (summer only). We provide robes for the pool area and there are sun loungers. The pool area is on the 1st floor and accessed by internal lift.

The large living space has a vaulted ceiling and panoramic windows to beautiful mountain views. Includes 2 comfy seating areas, 2 TVs/music, dining tables and open plan kitchens (option to divide into 2 rooms), plus front balcony and 2 roof terraces. 4 double bedrooms on the main floor, including 2 with an additional double bed partitioned off (ideal for children) and 2 twin mezzanine rooms (upstairs with vaulted ceiling, best for young people).
Own lockable boot/bike room (heated boot warmers) and designated covered parking. The apartment has 4 designated parking places in prime positions (closest to indoor doors), 2 of these are undercover.
The apartment has two large terraces with different aspects, both with wonderful views across the mountains. There is also a covered balcony with its own spectacular views which runs along the front of the apartment. Tables and chairs are available for al fresco dining on the terraces, together with a BBQ and additional garden furniture (not available in ski season).
A great advantage of the apartment is that it is very close to the centre of Nendaz but in a quiet location. The village has everything you will need within easy walking distance. Well stocked Co op and Migros supermarkets are both within 5 minutes walk. If you don't want to cook there are an abundance of very good quality restaurants within a short walk. These cover a variety of cuisines including those offering local specialities as well as Sardinian, French and other alternatives. The Nendaz 4 Valleys Hotel with spa is next door and in the village there are a variety of lively bars and good apres ski. In the ski season, the local ice-skating rink is a few minutes walk. Nendaz is in the middle of the extensive 4 Valleys ski area, which includes Verbier, Siviez, Thyon, and Veysonnaz and provides fantastic skiing for all levels of skiier. It has an excellent snow record. At 3,300m, the Mont Fort symbolises the peak of the 4-Valleys domain which has 412km of pistes and offers excellent skiing for all levels (beginner 35%, intermediate 50%, expert 15%). The funicular lift to the Tracouet gondola is just a 5 minute easy walk and at the top of Tracouet there is a nursery/beginner area in an attractive setting. From season 17/18 we will also have a nursery slope with childcare in front of our apartment, in addition to the existing sledding slope and play area that makes this a great location for families. There are several ski schools and significant discounts for child ski passes. See Nendaz Tourist site for information on ski passes, lessons and childcare. The lifts at Siviez are only 15 minutes by car or free ski bus and offer excellent access for skiing to Verbier, Thyon or Veysonnaz. Alternatively it is 30 minutes to Veysonnaz by car. Nendaz is also a wonderful location for a summer holiday, an area of breathtaking scenery with forests and mountain lakes in abundance. There are 250 kms of signposted paths for walkers and cyclists. Particularly lovely are the easy walks along the 8 Bisses (98km of paths which run alongside the ancient water channels). There are a wide variety of activities available in addition to walking and cycling: golf,volleyball, climbing, para-ponting, tennis, horse riding are all available locally. Also a fabulous outdoor swimming pool within a short walk of the apartment. There are great excusions e.g. Sion, Montreux, thermal baths (e.g. Saillon), Lac Souterrain, Adventure Parks,vineyards. Both Sion and Nendaz have weekly street markets with a variety of stalls selling local foodstuffs & gifts. There are a number of events of regional importance, with strong local involvement, creating a rich atmosphere. Note: the lockable ground floor room is ideal for storing bikes, golf clubs etc

An extensive and varied ski area and beautiful walks at other times of year. It is relatively easy to get to, whether flying to Geneva or driving (we usually drive from UK). Self catering is hassle free because the shops are close or we can easily eat out -we are very impressed by the standard of restaurants and bars.
The apartment is awe inspiring -the vaulted ceilings and panoramic windows with amazing views.
And it's great to have a swim or relax by the pool or in the sauna. So easy to change in the apartment, put on a dressing gown (provided) and take the lift down.
Quiet yet convenient location (quick walk to ski lift, village with shops, bars, restaurant etc). Indoor swimming pool and sauna. Fabulous views from panoramic windows. Fully equipped and comfortable for up to 16 people. Childcare, nursery slope, play area next to the apartment.
Beautiful chalet apartment with spectacular views out over the mountains. A joy to sit and just appreciate the stunning setting. We all enjoyed the wonderful pool having a daily dip or some time relaxing in the sauna. A real treat after long walks in the mountains. Fantastically well equipped apartment with everything you could need for a big group. The towelling robes were a great touch for use whilst at the pool. Kids were mesmerised by the huge collection of dvd's and games , and all managed to get some screen time with one of the four televisions! A really wonderful place in a stunning part of the world. Thank you for all the preholiday info and advice too- really appreciated.
We were group of 4 families with kids booked 2 identical penthouse apartments for 5 nights, which was connected via living room. The apartment is well maintained with top class amenities (Sauna, swimming pool, plenty of kitchen utensils, kids games etc.,). 4 bedrooms had en-suite providing plenty of privacy. We had bit of struggle reaching the apartment due to closure of access street due to local festival, but the caretaker was promptly assisted us to locate the place. Caretaker was kind enough to explain the facilities, even though the details of the facilities were provided as a document, well before the arrival. The apartment is situated closer to wonderful picturesque valley with plenty of walking routes. Supermarket, pharmacy and plenty of restaurants are in walking distance. However, please bear in mind anything you buy in Swiss (in general) is very costly, so it is worth carrying the trip items as as much as possible.
Excellent in Winter for skiing, and just as good in Summer for sun-bathing and lazing about in 32C. The peaceful location, excellent facilities and a fabulous vista made a lasting impression on the first timers; as did the pool and the PS3 for the youngsters. Truly disappointed when we had to leave but would certainly recommend to all. Only 5 of us this time so there was loads of room.
Nearby supermarkets and occasional restaurant visits supplemented everything we needed whilst using the penthouse as a base for visiting events around Lake Geneva.
We had a wonderful stay in the penthouse....the summer weather was glorious - we spent long afternoons sunbathing on the terrace and very pleasant evenings either having a BBQ at home or eating at one of the many wonderful restaurants within easy walking distance. We did a couple of fantastic walks in the mountains and swam both in the outdoor and indoor pools. Staying so close to the Italian border, we decided to hop over to Lake Maggiore for a couple of days which was wonderful and the scenery driving over the Simplon Pass was magnificent. The highlight for the children was a trip to the tree top adventure park in Crans Montana....well worth a visit. Nendaz is a very lovely mountain village and the Penthouse, with its magnificent views all around, is the perfect place to stay. It's very well equipped, spacious and spotlessly clean. We are very likely to return to enjoy another holiday there.
This was our fourth stay in this lovely apartment - twice for family skiing (highly recommended) and twice in Summer. It is a great spot for hiking or biking. There are mountain lifts or postbuses to take you all over the 4 Valleys or you can walk along the lovely "Bisses" (irrigation channels). We used the pool every day and soaked up the sun on the adjoining terrace or in the privacy of one of the roof terraces (lus BBQ!). Local restaurants are gerat and you can walk to them, the bars and shops in a matter of minutes. The apartment has everything you could possibly think of and is very comfortable, bright and airy. The views are superb!! We hope to be back!
We (3 families with kids) had a really pleasant stay at the penthouse. The living room is really spacious, there's a nice swimming pool and housekeeper was really friendly. And the ski lifts at an easy 10 min walk. What else could you ask for.
The resort of Nendaz is at the centre of Switzerland's Four Valleys. It is less than 2 hours drive from Geneva or 20-30 minutes drive from Sion and can also be accessed by train to Sion, then bus to Nendaz. In the winter it provides you with around 412km of pistes across the mountains of Verbier, Siviez, Thyon and Veysonnaz. The resort is at 1365m-3330m and has an excellent snow record. Nendaz is a rare blend of family friendly slopes, spectacular scenery, challenging mogul runs and off-piste free-riding (Beginner 35%, Intermediate 50%, Expert 15%). In the summer the mountains are just as beautiful and offer an equally extensive network of hiking and mountain bike trails, also more gentle walks along the ancient Bisses. The apartment is next to the sports/leisure facilities and only a short walk to the shops (2 supermarkets just 5 minutes walk plus specialist food shops), restaurants (35), bars (7), clubs (3). In winter it is just 5 minutes easy walk to the funicular lift that takes you to the Tracouet telecabine
Ideal for families with a sledging slope and children's play area to the front and side of the apartment block. A Nursery/Childcare centre is also located here accepting visitors children from 18 months to 6 years (apply to Nendaz Tourist Office). For season 2017/8 a moving carpet and Nursery slope will also be available here, so ideal for families with small children wanting beginner ski lessons and daycare on the doorstep. Golf: The Golf Club in Sion golf is only 20 minutes by car from Nendaz. Located in the the heart of the Rhone valley, its 18-hole course benefits from a sunny and warm climate. The Club Sion organises initiation courses for beginners and these include instruction by a golf professional, equipment (for rental) as well as an aperitif! Guests staying in Nendaz are able to buy their green fees at the local tourist office at a special rate.
