This is a great location in the 5th most expensive zip code list published by Forbes Magazine. It is located on a cul de sac right in the middle of the Hamptons. 4 miles from the Ocean or Southampton Village, 3 minute drive to the Bay, 5 miles from Bridgehampton Mall shopping and restaurants and shops, and 8 miles from Sag Harbor for restaurants, night life and historic museums. East Hampton is 7 miles further from Sag Harbor and the preferred route in the summer.
Great location, minutes to everything, take the back roads to avoid traffic.
I really enjoyed my stay at this property. The house is very spacious and the 4 bedrooms are big with Queen size beds. It has a very cute little porch with a bbq and a huge pool area. The surroundings are very quiet and peaceful. The owner was very attentive and timely in his answer to all my questions. It only takes about 15min to get to Southampton Main St. where there are a lot of nice restaurants and little shops. Would definitely recommend staying here!
I recently stayed in a spectacular house in Southampton and all I can say is WOW. This was more than just a place to stay while visiting the Hamptons…this place was a vacation of its own with all the amenities a traveler could need. In addition Southampton is much closer to NYC then the rest of the Hamptons, this reduce our commuting time and allowed us more time to enjoy our summer vacation.
The house was immaculate, with spacious rooms, and super comfortable beds. One of the most incredible parts of the trip was the private salt generator swimming pool, as a parent I can honestly say, no more red eyes for our children! The spacious deck right outside the beautiful French doors, it a great place to relax and enjoy a nice barbeque meal. Plus, the owner was very easy to work with. What an amazing home!
What a magical and beautiful home, minutes to everything the Hamptons has to offer and so close to NYC. We have stayed in East Hampton and Bridgehampton before, but Southampton is so much better, we reduced our commute by over an hour, what a great location.
We had a wonderful time with my son and extended family, it was very relaxing by the pool! The owner was a dream to deal with and very accommodating. The description of the home and amenities were perfect to the tee.
Highly recommend this place for a great family vacation in the Hamptons!
The house exceeded our expectations! The photos were totally accurate in describing the house. Cozy, neat, and clean with more than enough amenities to satisfy our needs. The neighborhood is quiet and serene with friendly people. The owner was beyond helpful with any request. The location was perfect, close to all restaurants, beaches, museums, wine tasting, and shopping makes this home the ultimate Hamptons escape. We have rented before in East Hampton and found that Southampton is just as nice but a much closer by drive, especially commuting from NYC. We loved our time here, and will be back soon.
I've been vacationing in the Hamptons for over 40 years, and this house ranks as one of my favorites. It is wonderfully secluded, with a back yard opening into woodland. The deck and pool are perfect for entertaining, or just relaxing with the family. There is a wood burning stove right in the den for chilly nights. The kitchen / den/ dining room are all open to each other, so the cook can participate in all the fun. The house is all on one level, which my parents really appreciated when they visited. Best of all, you can be on a beach, in Sag Harbor, or in Southampton in about ten minutes. Fantastic getaway, and Tom was very responsive to all my questions and needs. I highly recommend this house.
Beautiful pool, comfortable home on a quiet street close to Sag Harbor and Southampton beaches and nightlife. Home away from home when you want to enjoy the summer and all the Hamptons has to offer.
Flying Point Beach (Ocean) in Water Mill- 4 miles and 10 minutes away! Cromer's County Market, Bay Street Theater in Sag Harbor, Drew Theater in East Hampton, Art Galleries, Shopping in Nearby Southampton, Bridgehampton, Sag Harbor & East Hampton, Nature Preserves, Marina for boating, near Railroad and Jitney for transportation into New York City.
