My beautiful apartment is available and I've just had it furnished. My apartment is a true two bedroom apartment. Each bedroom has a queen size bed and the couch in the living room converts into a sleeper for one adult. Everything is modern and quite comfortable. Pre-war era building. Original re-exposed brick, beams its beautiful. Perfect location and fully furnished. Includes wifi, cable, linens, towels etc.

The neighborhood is fantastic about 50 feet from the subway, Whole Foods is around the corner and there is plenty to do within walking distance. There's literally everything around you, grocers, bars, restaurants, landmarks, paths, views, history, the neighborhood is amazing.

I may be flexible for arrival or departure times however must be coordinated prior to arrival.

Regarding my first review. I greatly appreciate constructive reviews as they help improve the experience for my guests.

-New linens have been purchased. I garauntee clean and fresh linens for all check ins.

-Sofa has been cleaned (there were stains from a spilled drink) and I am planning on replacing with a larger nicer sofa bed

-Noise. This is NYC so there will be some noise. The cozy cafe had a single special event and the entire neighborhood spoke to the owner of the cafe regarding noise. Consider noise issue resolved.

To my guests. I work hard to deliver you an excellent apartment to enjoy the city. If upon your arrival there is anything out of place or missing do not hesitate to let me know. I will do everything possible to insure you have a good stay.

Super location!

Location of apartment can't be beat! Close to subway, Whole Foods, restaurants,etc.

Apartment size is great! Apt lacks a few things: heater in 2nd bedroom not working, no hair dryer (was listed as an amenity), bar soap in the bathroom, a few more blankets. Otherwise, we enjoyed it!

Great space but very poor quality, broken furniture.

The physical space and layout of the apartment are very nice and the location is great. However, we learned after sitting/laying on the beds that both frames were damaged beyond repair! After trying to readjust the broken frames/slats without success, we ended up putting one of the mattresses on the floor. We unfolded the couch to sleep on but it also was cheaply made and we couldn't refold it back, leaving that as our only thing to sit on in the LR. One of the 2 small heaters was broken making for a cold stay at Christmas. We notified the owner and asked for some refund $ but didn't hear back until after our departure. He then accused us of the damage!! We are always respectful of property and very unhappy with this whole situation. Renters beware!

A great affordable NYC getaway!

Much more space for less money than a hotel. The apartment comfortably accommodated 4 adults. We were in the city for Christmas festivities (Rockefeller Center, Rolf’s, etc). There is a parking garage on the same street which was convenient. We had no problems communicating with the owner; obtained the keys very easily. The place is a great location for lyft/uber pick ups. It is also close to the subway. Great bars/restaurants close by. It’s a very walkable location. The apartment has cable tvs in each room and free WiFi. It was relatively quiet for NYC. we never did find the blow dryer, so I recommend packing your own. Also, the shower was a bit slow to drain, be quick! Other than those two small things, our stay was great and I would absolutely stay here again!

We were 2 couples spending a long weekend in NYC. Apartment was very clean, nicely located, we walked to many areas of NYC easily. Subway is also close by.

Not all it's cracked out to be

Yes, in terms of how the place looks, the photos are pretty spot on. I will say that the cleanliness of it was a little off-putting. My two friends and I are clean freaks so we notice more than most but there was just dirt in corners, mold in the bath tub tile. Also, the drain in the shower was clogged. We are three mid-twenty girls with long hair...yeah. I had contacted the owner to have this fixed and no response.

There are two people the are a part of the ownership. They seemed to have a hard time communicating and it effected our trip. I had asked John if we could drop our luggage off early (our flight was getting in at 6am and the official check in wasn't until 12pm). He assured me that we could drop our luggage off at 8am for a $50 fee. First of all, $50 to store luggage? That's annoying - but gotta do what you gotta do. Due to traffic it looked like we were getting to the apt at 8am anyway so time-wise it worked out perfect. I texted Fernan, the guy John said to contact regarding check-in and he said we couldn't check our luggage in until 9:30am. So we were walking around Manhattan with our big suitcases for hours and ended up just keeping them until 12pm (the agreed upon check-in time).

So we got there to check-in and the cleaning lady had to let us in. Without knowing who she was we watched her walk into the apt while we were waiting to be let in. She didn't even start cleaning until 12pm when we got there! Because of that she was not done cleaning by check-in so we still couldn't check-in at noon! We were exhausted from a red eye, had carried our luggage around Manhattan for 4 hours and just wanted to lay down. We finally made it to 12pm and we still couldn't do it. Super disappointing. Finally got back at 1:30 to rest.

No paper towels, no toaster, coffee maker didn't work (they knew that and said that would replace while we were there - they didn't) and no cooking oils. I know how VRBO works - this was not up to par.

This experience is worth avoiding.

Car: not necessary

You'll have the entire east village and Manhattan available to you and within walking distance. My neighborhood is very convenient to landmarks and many attractions.
