My place is great as a retreat from a busy day in the city. Quite and comfortable you'll be able to recharge easily and without worry.
I may be flexible for arrival or departure times however must be coordinated prior to arrival. Ask if you have any questions. I'll be happy to help.
Entire apartment is available for your use. All utilities and WiFi are included with the reservation. You can use all the towels, sheets etc. The kitchen is open and available with cookware.
Interaction with Guests
I'm local in case any requests or emergencies come up.
You'll be in the nexus of lower Manhattan. The following neighborhoods are within just a few blocks, little Italy, china town, financial district, city hall, east village, soho and more. The neighborhood is very rich in diversity and culture. Everything is close by whether it be landmarks, food, retail, bars, bridges, buildings:) You'll love it. The subway is literally just a short block away. This is a true New York City experience.
Subway is very close by. Easy access.
Other Things to Note
This is a studio apartment. It fits 3 people however keep in mind the bedroom is not separate (see pictures). The bed is large and comfortable and the couch is a single person sleeper (converts).
I'm a hardworking and friendly New Yorker. I love to host guests and find pleasure in helping people get to know my wonderful city. I transplanted to NYC about 10 years ago and fell in love with the city the moment I arrived.
I think you'll like this property because of its modern furnishing, appliances and its great location. You get an excellent opportunity to be in the middle of the NYC experience. Plus the subway is only 1 block away!!! which is great if you want to get around the city.
I'd have to say aside from my apartment being newly renovated I fell in love with the location. You'll be at the center of 5 major neighborhoods in Manhattan (SoHo, Little Italy, ChinaTown, East village and the Lower East Side).
We loved staying here! The apartment was very clean and cozy. Had cable and wifi and anything you would need for cooking. Bed and pull-out couch. We also felt safe the whole time staying here.
However, the best part about it is the location! It's right inbetween little Italy and China town! Perfect for walking to dinner or to get a late -night cannoli! We were also very close to a subway station.
We were also able to walk to the financial district, Brooklyn bridge and soho from this location.
We will definitely stay here again!
We stayed here for 2 weeks. Comfortable bed, and clean bathroom and kitchen. We loved the location, in Chinatown near Little Italy, and easy access to the subway.
The space needs a woman's touch, but has everything you need in a rental.
My 14-year old son and I enjoyed our stay at the property. The location was great. Very convenient subway access and we enjoyed exploring the neighborhood.
The space is as-advertised (meaning not very big). But we spent very little time at "home," so it was fine. We did prepare a couple of meals since the kitchen was adequate.
I told my son that this was like a full-on NYC immersion: small but totally sufficient apartment right in the middle of anything we needed.
Obviously, we enjoyed our stay (5 stars). I would mention, however, that the futon could have been cleaner. Edward (I think HomeAway has it spelled wrong) was out of town, but I am confident he would have addressed any issues we would have had (we had none).
In summary, this is a good value and a great place to stay if you want an NYC experience.
Great location and a nicely remodeled. Close to Little Italy and Chinatown. Definitely would stay here again.
This apartment is as described. It's basic but has everything you need. If sharing with a friend, the sofa bed is not really very comfy and when down its takes up all the space!
It's up 3 flights of steep stairs so be aware you have to carry your cases up! However the block feels very safe and don't be put off by the entrance.
Air conditioning unit is right by the bed and very noisy so ear plugs are advisable!
We found it to be a great, affordable option that is in walking distance of soho and the west village and the financial district. It's also right by the subway. Loads of great places nearby to eat and drink.
My apartment is situated in a great location. You can walk to the downtown area to see city hall, financial district, and all that the lower Manhattan provides for great sight seeing. The subway is also only a block away and will take you all over Manhattan. Being NYC there is a ton of stuff to see and experience and being in the perfect location helps!!!:) If you have any questions or would like suggestions I'll be happy to help.
