2 Bedrooms, 1 Bathroom, Sleeps 5

***My calendar has been updated for late spring discounts!!! NYC in the spring is awesome! Please note the listing price is a starting rate. Summer rates are different*****

My apartment is in the heart of Manhattan and the historical East Village neighborhood. Everything in my apartment is new and welcoming. Lots of Sunlight and easily sleeps 5 persons. A full kitchen allows for cooking at home and new windows provide lots of light. My apartment includes towels/sheets/linens, a/c, heat, WiFi, cable TV etc. My apartment is a walk up of only 3 flights. You and your group will love calling my place home!!

By the way the subway is only a block away and super convenient.

Guest Access

You'll have access to my entire apartment.

Interaction with Guests

I minimal contact with guests. I am local in case anything comes up.

The Neighborhood

The east village. Enough said;) if you know the city. If you don't know the city... My neighborhood has everything you need to keep you busy during your entire stay. There's shops, food, bars, parks, kid's parks, historical landmarks. You can easily walk to historical neighborhoods... SoHo, little Italy, China Town, The lower east side, Alphabet city. The neighborhood is also one of the safest in the city.

Getting Around

Public transportation is close and very easy to access includes subway, bus, and taxi.

Other Things to Note

It is a 3 flight walk up. I provide basic necessities included an outfitted kitchen with cookware, utensils, etc. I also provide towels/sheets/linens etc.

I'm a hardworking and friendly New Yorker. I love to host guests and find pleasure in helping people get to know my wonderful city. I transplanted to NYC about 10 years ago and fell in love with the city the moment I arrived.

Why John chose Manhattan

My apartment was recently renovated and is beautiful. The location is perfect and the neighborhood too. Everything everything is close by and within walking distance. you won't be disappointed!!

Great location, clean, as pictured

  • 5 of 5

The apartment is just as pictured. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The location was great and there were plenty of bars, restaurants, and shops nearby. It was also super close to the subway. We even got early check-in which was very helpful. Would stay again.

Clean, newly renovated, very nice place.

  • 5 of 5

This place was great. Very clean bathroom and bedrooms. Bed was firm but after walking around Manhattan all day we slept like a rock! Free WiFi, cable TV, felt safe and secure. This apartment was a welcome retreat each night after being out all day. The only downfall was that it was on the 4th floor and there's no elevator in the building. Other than that we give it two thumbs up!

Great apartment in a great location

  • 5 of 5

The apartment appears to have been newly renovated and was in great condition. The bedrooms and kitchen were spacious for a New York apartment. The neighborhood offers a wide variety of restaurants and places to stop in for a drink, alcoholic or otherwise. We were close to a number of subway lines that made it easy to get around the city.

Would definately stay again!!!!

This place was exactly where we wanted to be as our son was dancing only a block away from there. It was very easy to get around the neighborhood and we felt safe with our small children. It was very close to a whole foods market and the F train was right there, even the 6 was only a few blocks away. The apartment itself was quite nice, enough room for 3 kids and three adults...We slept in the larger queen room and it had two closets, a computer desk and a door. With the a/c on we could only really hear traffic and the lady upstairs when she wore her heals. There was construction on Houston so we could hear that but really in a city like New York I don't think you will ever get away from noise. The Bathroom was lovely and a good size, clean towels a vanity mirror to put your stuff in and enough toilet paper for the 8 days (we only bought a few extra rolls). The kitchen was nice and open, we cooked a lot there and would recommend another pan to cook in but we made it work, also the fire alarms were very sensitive so cooking bacon made them go off (at least we felt safe if there ever was a fire). The dishwasher was small but mighty and we just turned it on when we left for the day. The living room was cozy and the bed is really for a couple who likes to cuddle or two smaller kids, but comfortable (all the beds were very comfortable). The last room was the small queen with pocket doors, the doors have glass and you do have privacy with curtains as well, for the most part we left all doors open just so the air conditioner would keep the entire house cold...keep in mind it was 38 degrees for most of our trip and they worked well still. There was a closet and computer desk in that room as well. There were three TV's and awesome wifi, we were all connected and able to keep the kids entertained the times we were in the apartment. People who do not like stairs should not rent this place but if you are doing the subways at all then you can handle the stairs in the building as it is only 4 flights..luggage days were the worst. I will rent this place again for its cleanliness, space, and location. Well worth it..thanks again:)

Exactly like pictures

  • 4 of 5

We had a great stay at the east village apartment. The apartment was very clean and we were very pleased with the location, restaurants in the area. Whole Foods is at the corner and the subway was just around the corner, so convenient! We had a few issues with the water pressure, probably due to the construction being done out on the front street, but Ed had it fixed in a jiffy. It would have been nice to have a second set of keys as my boyfriend and i split up one day and needed access to the apartment without the other person.

We also got SO lucky to get parking on the street in front of the building, we had to move on trash pickup day, but were able to park right back into our spot. We had to sit in car until 1030 (the cut off time) but it was well worth it.

We had 3 teens with us and did just fine in this apartment, I would recommend to any friend who doesn't mind going up 4 flights of stairs.

Beautiful condo in a very popular location.

My stay in the East Village was great. It was a short walk to the train and within half a mile of some fantastic restaurants. Every room has a television with cable which was also very convenient. Great stay in a great location.
