About the property

1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom, Sleeps 4

***My calendar has been updated for late spring discounts!!! NYC in the spring is awesome! Please note the listing price is a starting rate. Summer rates are different*****

A gorgeous apartment SoHo. I love my apartment. You'll be close to everything, in the heart of NYC. Beautiful views from the apartment (parks, NYC streets, busy part of SoHo). Easy access to all major subway lines.

The apartment is great and has pre-war character with modern appliances.

There hardwood floors (common areas/bedroom), kitchen is clean, area to eat/table and ceramic flooring. The apartment is on the 3rd floor (2 flights up) and faces the street, and the park across the street. The space is beautiful and spacious, plenty of light and a true (good) NYC experience. The living room is spacious and has a very solid and comfortable modern sofa bed that sleeps two adults. The living room has a large flat screen t.v. with cable and plenty of space for everyone to hang out. The kitchen is modern and a full size kitchen, with plenty of space. The bedroom is large and is very comfortable with a high end mattress (sleeps two adults), closet and windows, flat screen etc. The bathroom has a full bath/shower and is clean.

All linens, towels, cooking/eating utensils, utilities, WiFi are all included. I can even have maid service if you like to take care of linens while you stay. Basically just bring your bags and get ready to enjoy the city.

The location is fantastic, on Lafayette st between Kenmare st and Spring street in Manhattan. I can't stress the location enough, if you're vacationing you don't want to waste time just getting to the subway or taking a cab to get you somewhere, you want to simply walk out of the building and be in the heart of NYC. The subway is literally a stone's throw away. To say the least this is a gem of a place in SoHo.

I may be flexible for arrival or departure times however must be coordinated prior to arrival. Car service can be provided for an additional charge, a driver will meet you at the airport and will take you right to the apartment.

Superb Location, Clean Digs, Hot Shower, Comfortable Sleeping for 4 - Great, Budget Spot

  • 5 of 5

Stayed here May 22-25, 2017 and really liked the walkability to Chinatown, Soho, Lower East Side and Times Square if looking for a vigorous, power walk. John's place, most importantly, was very clean, had enough space for a family of 4 - like mine - so as to be not right on top of each other - and a decent bed and sectional for comfortable sleeping. Noise level at night was surprisingly low despite the restaurants below. Like the apartment, good, budget pizza, noodle and burger places dotted the local landscape. John, the landlord, was very accommodating, being flexible on early arrival or the need to take a few extra hours to depart. This is a budget place, so don't expect penthouse luxury, but for the price of budget, NYC hotel you get privacy, a kitchen where everything works and the feel of being part of an NYC neighborhood.

Dark. Dingy. Dirty.

  • 1 of 5

Very superficial cleaning of apt. Once you started looking in corners or walls-smashed bugs- it didn't look as expected. Also ants in bathroom when we arrived. No working microwave even though there were 2 in the kitchen. Which was very minimally supplied. NO SMOKE DETECTOR! Even though there was a notice in entryway dated a month ago to do this!! Bathroom the worst. Chipped tub. Tiles falling off wall. Tiniest sink ever and no counter. No grab bars for safety. All floors in kitchen and bathroom were terrible and cracked. Trash cans were in entryway to building everyday. Stinky. Called vrbo and they wanted US to contact owner. Called his manager who took care of a few things but this place can't be temporarily fixed. If I'm spending money I need more than a great location. By the way sirens from fire station a few doors down several times nightly! So I would recommend another place and even using another company!

5 nights Claire and family

  • 3 of 5

great location but quite loud day and night. Appartment very convenient but some improvements should be made: thick curtains in the bedroom to protect from early daylight, a toaster, better cleaned especially the floor and the windows especially thinking of the high amount of cleaning charges . The compulsary housing insurance of around 57$ was not necessary as no valuable objects in the appartment. Subway stations very close. Plenty of nice restaurants and lively area. Alltogether a pleasant stay but difficult to find quiteness. After all we were in New York!!!

Muy Buen lugar!

  • 4 of 5

great apartment and location

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay in NYC! The proximity to the Spring St. subway stop was very convenient, and we loved the family friendly neighborhood. I drove to NYC and there is a parking garage on Broome St., a stone's throw away. The apartment itself was clean and had plenty of space for me and my three kids. The bed was very comfortable.
