Offering incredible views over the Rhone Valley and beyond, Chalet Miro is a beautiful and luxurious chalet located in the heart of Haute Nendaz, just a few minutes walk from the piste, bars, restaurants and shops. Sleeping 12 guests in six spacious bedrooms on the ground and upper floors, (three king bedrooms and three twin bedrooms), the chalet offers the ultimate in alpine luxury, with hot tub, private outdoor terracing, luxurious under floor heating, and a roaring log fire.The chalet boasts magnificent views from floor to ceiling windows to enjoy the amazing views. We can offer TV, DVD, Hifi with docking station and wifi, as well as DVDs, books and toys for our younger guests.

Chalet Miro is comfortable and spacious, with lots of space for large groups and families. Every bedroom is tastefully furnished with style and character, offering breathtaking views over the valley, and all are warm and welcoming after an active day on the mountains.

The high specification kitchen with polished granite worktop bar, boasts a large oven and hob, two good sized built in fridge freezers, microwave, dish washer and lots of other mod cons to cater for large groups of people. The wide terrace and patio area house the secluded hot tub, an ideal place to watch the sun set over the Rhone Valley.

About Nina Deakin

We live in Scotland and Switzerland with our two young children and operate a holiday cottage business on the shores of Loch Tay in the Scottish Highlands and a ski chalet business in the heart of the Swiss Alps.

Our properties range in style, age and size - they range from renovated farm steadings to alpine chalets, but all have a great sense of homeliness and beautiful views, as well as lots of little luxuries to help everyone unwind and enjoy their holidays, no matter how old or young they may be!

Why Nina Deakin chose Valais

After buying the land in 2006, the chalet was finally finished in time for it's first guests in the winter of 2008. We love the fact that there is something very special about the homely feel of the chalet and we would live there all the time if we could - the combination of the central location, the fantastic views and the luxury of the chalet itself makes it the perfect place for a break all year round.

What makes this chalet unique

The chalet offers the ultimate in alpine luxury, with fabulous views from the spacious living and dining area and the bedrooms.The property offers a private hot tub, open fire in the living and dining areas, as well as luxurious underfloor heating throughout the chalet. There is wifi, TV, hifi with docking station and DVD, plus many DVDs for people to watch. The chalet is located just minutes away from the restaurants, bars, shops and ski lift, yet set in a quiet and tranquil enclave in the heart of Nendaz. Just perfect for winter and summer breaks!

As we have a couple of young children, we know what it is like to travel with them and the challenges this can bring, so offer travel cots, high chairs, change mat, potty, Maclaren buggy, children's crockery, plus many games, toys and DVDs to keep them entertained!

This was our first time in Haute Nendaz in the summer. It exceeded all our expectations. It's got something for everyone - mountain biking, hiking, gentle strolls along the many bisse paths, Spa, pool or simply lounging in the sunshine. Chalet Miro was just fantastic and the panoramic views from any one of the patios take your breath away. It's a stunning chalet and beautifully designed - loads of comfy, stylish seating & dining space and a brilliantly equipped kitchen. And in the best location in the village - just a 5 minute walk to a restaurants/shops and a fabulous bakery for fresh bread every morning. We can't wait to come back, lie in the hot tub and soak up the scenery again!

Fantastic stay at Chalet Miro

Fantastic chalet, exactly as described and with quite simply stunning views especially when seen from the hot tub with a drink. The property was very clean and well furnished and appears to be lovingly looked after - the owner was a delight to deal with and responded very promptly to all our queries. The chalet is very warm and modern but still has that traditional Alpine charm which I think is a crucial part of the whole holiday experience when in the Alps. The open plan kitchen and sitting room creates a very sociable atmosphere but at the same time still manages to feel snug especially with the fire on. Nendaz itself is a very easy going place, low key, family friendly and doesn't take itself very seriously. Great restaurants and bars and the locals were polite and friendly without fail. I highly recommend a stay here, winter or summer.

Chalet an bester Lage

Das Chalet liegt an bester Lage mit atemberaubender Aussicht. Die Vermietung verlief tadellos, sehr freundlich und die offenen Fragen wurden immer prompt beantwortet. Vielen Dank. Einzig die Anfahrt ist ein bisschen schwierig, da die Wege sehr steil sind. Einzig zu bemängeln ist die Kücheneinrichtung. Die Bratpfannen und übrigen Pfannen waren von sehr billigen Qualität und das sah man auch. Auch das Besteck rostet zum Teil schon, schade. Ansonsten wirklich ein super Feriendomizil. Sehr gerne werden wir dieses Chalet wieder mieten. Nochmals vielen Dank, dass wir ein solch tolles Chalet mieten durften.
