Perfect Maine Vacation

  • 5 of 5

The house is located at the far end of the pond, on what we thought was the nicest lot on the lake. It had a nice yard - the deck was a perfect place to just sit and take in the view. If you like to fish, you'll love this place. We caught over 40 fish during the week - starting with a nice 4-5 pound large mouth bass right off the dock! Charlie was extremely responsive to all our requests, and the place was exactly as advertised in terms of amenities. Very clean, comfortable and well kept. Highly recommend!

Cozy, private, comfortable, well-maintained

  • 5 of 5

From the moment we stepped in the door, we felt comfortable - like borrowing the home of close friends. The welcome basket was a nice touch. The house had everything we needed/wanted: kayaks, canoe, dock, fire pit, dishes, pots and pans, linens/towels... right down to a cork screw for opening the wine. The house was immaculately clean, and the furniture and appliances were up to date and in excellent condition. The owner was very helpful in advance of our stay, and responsive when we had a question during our stay. Family came for lunch and agreed that we had made a nice choice of vacation spots. The home's location is private and the yard is spacious and well-maintained. It's only a short drive to grocery store/shopping, mini-golf, various area attractions (but we were quite happy just relaxing at the house most of the time).

Relaxing stay at Coffee Pond!

  • 5 of 5

Our family could not have asked for a better stay. The cottage was clean, comfortable and had an amazing view from the deck. The pond was easily accessible for our two young boys and we made great use of the swim dock! The cottage is equipped with everything you need for a great vacation and me made good use out of the canoes and kayaks. The welcome basket upon arrival was an especially nice touch. The owners were very responsive to any inquiries as well!! We would highly recommend this cottage!

Lovely cottage with all the comforts of home!

  • 5 of 5

Charlie is fantastic in his response time to questions and or concerns. This clear communication continued with clear and informative information provided in the cottage. We didn't find any notes about what we could not do or use but did find notes on how to use things like the TV/remote that we found very helpful! The cottage was well equipped! Pride in ownership is evident in every aspect. The cottage was clean and we quickly felt at home. Just about anything you might need is available. Outside the flower gardens were a sweet touch and are clearly cared for. The kayaks, row boat and canoe were quality and in great working condition. The floating dock is brand new! Pictures do not do this property justice. This property is tucked into a quiet corner of the lake. We found hiking trails and found that biking along the road was nice being there isn't any traffic. We had high expectations for our week on Coffee Pond and we were not disappointed!

Just Perfect!!!

  • 5 of 5

We found the cottage very charming and had one of the best weeks ever.

"Bobbie's" personal touches and notes were so helpful and so touching.

We didn't want to leave for any reason, we just loved the flowers, the landscaping, swimming in the water and of course the Deck. It was just beautiful.

We enjoyed having everything you could imagine, from bedding, towels to coffee maker, pots and pans and anything that you need to have.

Nothing was missed.

We really enjoyed lighting the fire in the big fire pit overlooking the water, which was magical.

Swimming, boating, kayaking and especially fishing kept us busy all week, and of course relaxing...

Lots of small mouth and big mouth bass were caught.

Nature is everywhere here. We saw humming birds, chickadees, butterflies and of course tons of fish you can catch and see right from the dock

From our first cup of coffee on the deck to listening to the Loons at night.

Charlie was an excellent Manager and was always willing to assist us with any questions we had from start to finish.

A little gem, slightly hidden, but full of big surprises!

  • 5 of 5

My friend Steve and I thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at the cottage on Coffee Pond during a fishing trip in mid May.It looked nice from the outside, but boy were we pleasantly surprised when we entered the property. The owner had obviously taken great pride in this cottage so much so that it felt like we were staying in somebody's home, and not a rental property. It was very comfortable, very relaxing with great views of the pond whilst nestled in a cute little cove.

The beds were very comfortable, and we had no problem falling fast asleep after a long day fishing. The cottage has a real coziness to it,but also spacious enough so not to feel cramped.Coffee Pond has great water quality, and is crystal clear. This pond though not huge compared to some, offers the chance to catch specimen Smallmouth, and Largemouth Bass. The whole experience from booking the cottage to our arrival went smoothly.Communication with the owner was great with any questions answered promptly.I highly recommend this cottage. It has everything one could want for a Summer vacation on the water in the Lakes Region of Maine.

Kind regards,

Tom Gumble
