Great Location but Several Issues

Pros: Newer, spacious and in a great location.

Has a pool and spa (heat is an additional cost)

Secure house with alarm system

Super close to Disney, shopping, grocery stores, and dining.

Secure, gated community when the gates are actually secured (gates were wide open all but two nights of our stay)

Wifi and large screen TV in living room (tvs in all bedrooms as well)

Great for families as the house has two masters

Cons: Slow response time from the management company. No one answers the phone or responds to emails on the weekends even after numerous messages left.

Issues with cleanliness of house. Found an open bag of chips next to the bunk beds, crusty mystery spots on blankets in closet, random small items and dirt under couches and beds. Dishes were not cleaned when placed back in cabinet so had to be rewashed before being able to use

No extra toilet paper. The house can sleep 12 people. 4 rolls of toilet paper are not going to go far. No extra trash bags.

Pool filter runs on timer so spa water level sits well below jets when the filter is not running.

Cheap pillows on bed. You need about three to make a normal pillow so pack your own if renting here.

Plenty of towels but no washcloths for the bathroom.

No dressers in two bedroom and only 3-4 hangers in each closet. I had to put my clothes in my son's room as I had no where to place them.

Overall, our stay was fine but it would have been nice to get a response back from the management company when we reached out to them multiple times via email and phone. As a management company they should be someone on call 24/7 so that renters can get answers or problems fixed. Thankfully there wasn't an emergency that needed to be dealt with. Also, having to pick up basics like toilet paper and trash bags along with cleaning while on vacation is not something I would have expected to do. Our family will definitely be renting in Veranda Palms again but is on the fence if we would rent from CF Vacations again due to issues.

Owner's Response: We at CF Vacations would like to thank you for your time in writing us a review. It always helps us to grow as a company having the insight of the guests staying at our properties. As for the cons mentioned, we would like to clarify that our properties are self service properties. We do provide as a courtesy the first use of toilet paper and trash bags but for the remainder of the stay the guest is responsible for buying their own. We take pride in the cleanliness of our properties and any issue reported to us as soon as you find them is of great help. We will be making an inspection of the house to find out about some of the issues with cleaning reported by you as well as carpet stains for the house is a brand new home. As for reaching us on weekends we do have a 24/7 phone number to call for emergency issues, this information is on your rental agreement. Unfortunately the office is closed on weekends and I would like to apologize for any inconvenience that it had caused you. We sincerely hope that you will rent with us again in the future.

Spring Training get away

This house worked out great for 2 couples as the 2 masters are at opposite ends of the upstairs. We found it to be very clean and nicely decorated. As in previous reviews, there were not extra trash bags or dish/dishwasher detergent. Each toilet was provided with 1 roll of toilet paper which I expect as it is not a hotel but did expect to find dishwasher detergent and extra trash bags as I was required to wash and tote. I paid the extra for heating the hot tub but it also heated the pool. Not quite sure what the tech did the first day out there but a few settings are in question. The response to my call was quick.

Not impressed

Our family books homes 2-3 times per year through homeAway.com. This was the first home that we were displeased with. We rented this 4 bedroom home for our family. Upon arrival some of the sheets on the beds clearly were not clean. They had hair on them and glitter everywhere upon pulling back the comforter. On top of that, pillows were not provided for some of the beds. There were 2 full sized beds that had ZERO pillows. The pillows were not hidden in another room or in another closet. They did not exist. Usually in rental homes they provide you with 2-3 trash bags, one dish washing pouch and one laundry detergent pod. At least in everY other rental we have used in the past they did this. This rental did not provide anything but did require you to put your dishes in the dishwasher upon departure and run it. Although I went to a nearby Walmart to buy dishwasher pods, I'm afraid that other families might just have put them in the dishwasher with detergent which makes them unwashed. The same thing for linens in towels, maybe that's why they were disgusting. We also were not provided with entire rolls of toilet tissue or extra toilet tissue. So you ran out after 1 day. They also advertise that it has hot tub, but we couldn't use it because we weren't allowed to heat it. This was not Told to us until after we rented the property. I tried to call the management company and emailed them twice to rectify the situation before leaving this review but no one has called me back or emailed me. I'm upset that I was charged this amount of money for something on par with a motel 6. The only positive thing I can say is that it was in a good location to get to Disney and the lay out of the bedrooms was nice, but I would not want to stay here EVER again.
