Modern, sunny apartment, ground floor, south facing, in prestigious Klosters

Our well-equipped, 4-star rated apartment is ideally located, just moments away from ski lifts and the golf-course, in a peaceful part of Klosters.

The apartment is on the ground floor of a traditional Swiss-style chalet (built in 2004). It faces south and west and has garden on two sides, with wonderful views of the beautiful mountain scenery. The terrace is ideal for outdoor dining or relaxing in summer, and a real sun-trap in winter.

The family-run Chesa Selfranga restaurant just across the road offers excellent home-produced food and is well-known for its wide range of different rösti dishes.

The local bus (free service with guest-card) stops 200 m from the house, taking you on the 5 minute ride to the cable-cars, railway station (where you can take the free train to Davos, providing access to even more pistes and walks), shops and amenities in the centre of the village. Or if you want to make the most of the views of the Silvretta glacier and the Gotschna mountain, you can walk down to the centre in 15 minutes.

Klosters is one of the most sought-after mountain holiday resorts in Europe, yet it retains its traditional atmosphere and is neither over-expensive nor glitzy. In addition to the world-class skiing and snowboarding, with over 50 lifts and 300 km of snow-sure pistes for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities in the Davos Klosters Mountains region, Klosters makes a great destination for a summer holiday too, with over 700 km of walking routes, ranging from forest tracks to the steep and rugged mountain paths up to 3000m. There are numerous other summer activities, including specially designated mountain-biking tracks and routes, tennis, rafting, swimming and, of course, golf. Isabel & Tim,

Thank you so much for the use of your beautiful apartment. We enjoyed our Christmas vacation here. Also a nice surprise to see a Christmas tree in the living room, thanks for that.

All of your tips and directions worked out great. Remo (at the hotel) left the supplies we requested and we had a lot of fun meeting him. Lots of laughs as he had some great stories to tell.

We skied, sledged, skated, and lots of snowy walks to the village.

Our whole reason to be in Switzerland was for the 91st Spengler Cup Hockey Tournament in Davos. We had tickets to 5 games and took the twenty minute train ride into Davos. Davos is a larger city and very busy so it was always so nice to come back to Klosters.

We would like to come back again and enjoy more of Klosters.

We also met a lot of your neighbors on New Year’s Eve! We all met outside for hot cider drinks and wine while watching the amazing fireworks.

Your apartment is beautifully decorated and beds were very comfortable.

A wonderful place to stay! Spacious appartment , well equipped and with own parking space.

We have just returned from a pre-Christmas ski in Klosters. The snow was good at the top of the mountain. The town was lit up with Christmas lights and gave you a wonderful festive feel. The appartment was very well equipped. A bathroom and separate shower room with another toilet. Great when there were Five of us staying! Spacious living area with a big L shaped sofa and a big extendable dining table. The beds were comfy and the owners supplied plenty of towels.

The location was lovely beside the golf course in a quiet area on the outskirts of the town. The bus stop was very close to the appartment and only a short ride to the centre of town. The people of Klosters are very friendly and helpful. We have visited many times but it was the first time we stayed in this super appartment. We hope to re- visit soon!

Perfect location

We had a wonderful stay in Isabel's condo. It was clean, spacious, very comfortable and had everything one may need; and what a perfect location. Quiet, yet close to the village. The tourist card entitles you to many different destinations, we didn't stay long enough to see them all... Isabel was so helpful with many suggestions that when we got there we were ready to explore. We hope to visit again with our family this time. Thanks Isabel ! cheers !

Fantastic apartment

This was our first visit to Klosters. Isabel's apartment is excellent. It's spacious, well appointed, well maintained and in a great location. Isabel also gave great advice on any questions we asked. We enjoyed the skiing, the friendly and helpful locals and it was an easy drive to and from Calais in February half term week. We would definitely go back again.

Excellent Apartment - Just the Best!

For the second year in a row we chose this apartment.

Again, the owner, Isabel was really accommodating and easy to communicate with.

The apartment is modern, spacious, warm and well equipped - absolutely ideal for 4 people! It is immaculately clean and well maintained.

We had another excellent ski holiday! Just perfect for our family.

This year we walked up to the station each morning and bought fresh bread, we caught the bus (bus stop very close to apt) to Klosters and skied back to apt. Great not to use the car.

Boys loved playing outside in the snow and we just loved chilling.

All told - absolutely terrific!!! And we hope we can return again next year...

Great apt for a ski holiday

Have just returned from a week in this fabulous apartment.

Apt was exactly as stated on the site. Great appliances, well equipped, very warm and clean Apt is well maintained and cosy and there is plenty of room on the lounge for four people! Views from the lounge were lovely.

Owners were very easy to communicate with. The location was great, bus stop was a few minutes walk and then you could ski back right to the front door. There is a large locker room for skis and boots and there is under cover parking.

Guest cards for Klosters make moving around very easy and train ride to Davos is very scenic. Klosters is fun to walk around and supermarket has everything one needs at reasonable prices.

All told we had a superb week. It is our fifth visit to Klosters and I hope we can use this apartment again next year.

About Isabel Hull

I first went to Klosters when I was 21 and studying German at university. I loved the place so much I kept returning for holidays, so when we were looking for a holiday home to purchase, this was the obvious place!

Why Isabel Hull chose Klosters-Serneus

The chalet is immediately opposite the Chesa Selfranga hotel where I worked all those years ago, and which is still run by my good friends Susanne and Remo Thon - now my keyholders!

What makes this apartment unique

We love being in Selfranga for the peace and quiet and the fantastic views of the village, the glacier and the surrounding mountains - yet only a beautiful 15 minute walk or a 5 minute bus journey from the centre of the village with all its amenities.

We had a lovely holiday in your apartment. We were very pleased to find that you had wifi and Swisscom TV so it was like a "home from home". The children loved playing in the garden and building a snowman. If we holiday in Klosters again we would definitely consider using your apartment again.

Klosters is a place with something for everyone! In winter, of course, there's the world-class skiing and snowboarding, with over 50 lifts and 250km of pistes for skiers of all abilities in the Davos Klosters Mountains region. However, Klosters makes a great destination for a summer holiday too, with over 700km of walking routes. Many other activities are on offer as well, including mountain-biking tracks and routes, tennis, rafting, swimming. . . and of course golf too, on the spectacular 9-hole course just a stone's throw from our house.

Graubunden has some of Switzerland's most beautiful scenery, including part of the Swiss National Park and the Engadin valley (easily accessible through the Vereina rail tunnel from Klosters). Within easy reach are the regional capital, Chur, which is Switzerland's oldest town, and many well-known resorts including Arosa and St-Moritz, not to mention numerous picturesque smaller villages.
