About D.R. Couch

I'm a local realtor in Fort Worth and love helping people with all things real estate. In my very limited spare time, I love to cook, grow veggies and herbs in my garden and work on remodeling projects on my own home. I have a little Yorkie that runs the show around here and is the apple of my eye. I quit a long time high level corporate career to go into the real estate industry over 5 years ago and with the addition of the vacation homes, I am just so happy with my decision to invest my time in something I absolutely love. I love getting to chat and sometimes meet the folks that stay with us and am even more please when I've been able to offer and provide something to my guests that is night and day better than the experience you get when staying at a hotel. I'm a people pleaser and I love making people happy. It is one of the best rewards.

Why D.R. Couch chose Dallas - Fort Worth (DFW)

This property is perfect for large family gatherings. The floor plan is great for entertaining and having enough space to truly spread out. The kitchen is enormous with a gas cook-top, french door refrigerator, double oven and tons of prep space for making even the most elaborate meals and feeding a large family. The formal dining, huge eat in kitchen and the bar provides seating for 14 people. Minutes away from everything cool and fun to do here in Fort Worth; you have amazing entertainment right at your fingertips. Plenty of options to choose from when grocery shopping from Sprouts, Tom Thumb to the Sunflower Shoppe which is our local all natural and organic store. Too many choices to list when it comes to dining out in this area. You have your choice of close by fine dining, Mexican, american, burger joints, Italian, Chinese, authentic sushi along with many pubs and bars to grab a cocktail. I love this home because of the 1930's charm it has and that it is so easy to jump on highway 30 and get wherever you want in town within minutes.

What makes this bungalow unique

This home has amazing privacy with each of the three rooms being at each corner of the home. There is an office space for business travelers to connect their laptops to, a full size laundry room with large capacity washer and dryer. The high ceilings, traditional in this period of home give the home an open and airy feeling. Along with all of the natural light flowing in from all of the windows, this home makes you feel like you never left home or this is what you'd want your home to be. The furnishings we used in this home are luxurious and the linens and mattresses are upraded and make for a very restful nights sleep.

I was in town visiting my grandmother for her 90th birthday. It was myself, my puppy, and my four children (ages 5, 7, 9, 11) who stayed at the house. We had a fabulous stay. I got the opportunity to try out every bed since my hubby couldn't travel with us this time, and the kids all wanted the novelty of mom for the night. Every bed was very comfy... the sheets and blankets very soft & luxurious. The kitchen and dining area are very bright & cheery. The backyard was so perfect for our pup. The yard is landscaped nicely and completely fenced in. Nice for shade & sun. When we'd leave for the day I'd leave plenty water and doggy was good all day outside. And the neighborhood is soooo nice. We walked to the park to play and I bought my son a basketball so he could shoot hoops across the street. I guess this house just really met all of our needs for this stay & I am grateful! Also, everything you could possibly need is a 5 min. drive away! And Netflix in the evening was a good way to wind down after a days adventure.

Great place for family to gather!

  • 4 of 5

Very nice home with lots of space for large groups or family to get together. We had people from several areas around Ft. Worth come to the house, as it was central to all of them. The house was clean and nicely kept. It's close to stores and restaurants, yet in a quiet neighborhood. The furnishings were very nice and the beds were so comfortable. We enjoyed our stay, and would definitely stay again. Thanks for providing such a lovely home!

Great cottage get away!

  • 5 of 5

This home was clean and beautifully furnished. We came for TCU family weekend and were able to bring our elderly parents, an aunt, and have a place for cousins and friends to congregate. It beat a hotel any day. While Fort Worth was experiencing record heat we had a very cool escape. Will plan to use this home again!
