I'm a local realtor in Fort Worth and love helping people with all things real estate. In my very limited spare time, I love to cook, grow veggies and herbs in my garden and work on remodeling projects on my own home. I have a little Yorkie that runs the show around here and is the apple of my eye. I quit a long time high level corporate career to go into the real estate industry over 5 years ago and with the addition of the vacation homes, I am just so happy with my decision to invest my time in something I absolutely love. I love getting to chat and sometimes meet the folks that stay with us and am even more please when I've been able to offer and provide something to my guests that is night and day better than the experience you get when staying at a hotel. I'm a people pleaser and I love making people happy. It is one of the best rewards.

This property is perfect for large family gatherings. The floor plan is great for entertaining and having enough space to truly spread out. The kitchen is enormous with a gas cook-top, french door refrigerator, double oven and tons of prep space for making even the most elaborate meals and feeding a large family. The formal dining, huge eat in kitchen and the bar provides seating for 14 people. Minutes away from everything cool and fun to do here in Fort Worth; you have amazing entertainment right at your fingertips. Plenty of options to choose from when grocery shopping from Sprouts, Tom Thumb to the Sunflower Shoppe which is our local all natural and organic store. Too many choices to list when it comes to dining out in this area. You have your choice of close by fine dining, Mexican, american, burger joints, Italian, Chinese, authentic sushi along with many pubs and bars to grab a cocktail. I love this home because of the 1930's charm it has and that it is so easy to jump on highway 30 and get wherever you want in town within minutes.
This home has amazing privacy with each of the three rooms being at each corner of the home. There is an office space for business travelers to connect their laptops to, a full size laundry room with large capacity washer and dryer. The high ceilings, traditional in this period of home give the home an open and airy feeling. Along with all of the natural light flowing in from all of the windows, this home makes you feel like you never left home or this is what you'd want your home to be. The furnishings we used in this home are luxurious and the linens and mattresses are upraded and make for a very restful nights sleep.
This home was clean and beautifully furnished. We came for TCU family weekend and were able to bring our elderly parents, an aunt, and have a place for cousins and friends to congregate. It beat a hotel any day. While Fort Worth was experiencing record heat we had a very cool escape. Will plan to use this home again!
We were very happy with the house. It was very roomy. The kitchen was was perfect. Especially the double oven. The backyard is very private which was a plus. The bedrooms were also very roomy and the beds were super comfortable. Our grand baby had enough room to roam around. The owner D.R. was super. Very helpful in every way. We definitely highly recommend this place. The neighborhood was very quiet as well.
Thank you so much D.R. for sharing your home. It is an awesome place. We would rate your place much more than a 5 star!!!!
We had family come into town and it was a great location to hop on the freeway and go see/do the things we wanted to do. Everything was less than 15 minutes from the house. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. The house is wonderful and the bedrooms are separated so it was nice to have your private space.
Our family stayed for a week for our son's wedding... Very comfortable and pleasant house, stayed cool and shady even with temps above 100. Rooms are large and beds comfortable. Kitchen is spacious and well stocked. This house was perfect for our needs and we will likely stay here again when in Fort Worth. Owner was very helpful and prompt with everything we needed prior to the week.
This was a great pick and we were pleasantly surprised at the nice roomy interior and well appointed kitchen. The house has three bedrooms but it was very flexible. We had temporary internet problems that the landlord fixed within minutes remotely.
We chose this property due to location, reasonable price, and its posh look in the pictures, which were happily accurate when we checked into the home. We were gathering our 15 member family in Fort Worth for a week of family fun. The home looked so nice, in fact, that two more of our family members decided to stay with us in the house instead of with their sister at her home, totaling 8 staying at the house. And the house was big enough to serve as "family headquarters" for all 15 of us, two of those were babies. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the kitchen well-enough equipped for a home gourmet, the bathrooms spacious, living spaces abundantly generous, the yard a great space for the toddler and teens to enjoy, and the owner hospitable enough to check in with us prior to and after check in (SO easy to do with a lock box instead of key) to make certain we had everything we needed during the week. All of this AND close to everything we love: Botanical gardens, zoo, downtown FW, our favorite restaurants and grocers, and just a minute's drive to the interstate. And the peace of the neighborhood must be mentioned. I think we've found our home away from home in Fort Worth on Mary's Lane!
