The building exterior had a facelift in 2014. This is a one bedroom condo on the 8th floor with 9 ft ceilings, built around 2005. Has outstanding views from the spacious balcony and from inside the condo. Has one half bath that connects into a full bath. 2 bunk beds in the hallway with lighting across the hall way wall. Queen sofa sleeper. 3 high speed elevators. One reserved covered parking place and additional out door parking. Renowned Lillian's Pizza across the street. A short distance to a Winn Dixie and a new Publix 5 Min away. Walmart about 15 min away. Plenty of fresh Sea food restaurants. Not far from a Light House, Fort and Naval Air Museum. Also a short distance to the Wharf and Outlet Mall in Al. 300 ft of soft sugar white sand. Never is crowded on the beach.

Heated Pool. Pool deck has lounges for Windemere guests. Unbelievable view from the pool deck. Pool and deck on 3rd floor unobstructed view of the water. Ground floor grills, picnic tables and an air pump for floats or tires. Wi Fi at the pool and in the unit.

I retired in 2012, from teaching Jr High school Math , full time and junior college math part time. I had another condo on Perdido Key for 12 years that I still rent. I take pride in my properties and try to keep them maintained. I visit and deep clean them often. Always try to keep my property in great shape. I appreciate input from my guests and like to know what improvements I can make that will make it all the more comfortable . Why Holly chose North West Florida

I have owned property on Perdido Key for a number of years and could think of nowhere else I wanted to have a second home. It is one of the more quiet beach front areas I have been to. 63% of Perdido Key is protected . It is unlike most beach front communities.I have always felt very save with my family here. If we are looking for more activity it is just a short ride in the car. Whether I head into Pensacola or west to Al, there is plenty of activities available and then I come back to my quiet oasis.

Nice clean condo with a beautiful view

We had a great time on vacation in Perdido Key. The beach is awesome, wasn't too crowded. The condo was nice and clean and everything worked as expected. Also lots of great restaurants in the area...

Perfectly stocked, clean, worry free, right on the beach condo! Attentive owners.

We traveled to the Windemere on Perdido Key in October. Booking our stay was easy, and communication with Holly, the condo owner, could not have been better. Very attentive and very helpful with information about the condo and our travels plans as we arrived the same time that huricane Nate did. The storm passed quickly, and we were able to enjoy the beautiful beaches of Perdido Key. The beach is clean, and not commercial. We saw dolphins everyday.

Holly has stocked her condo with anything you would need to make your stay easy. From a fully stocked kitchen including stock pots, bakeware, and several small appliances. There is no need to pack too many clothes as the unit has a washer and dryer. If you are traveling with children, there are many games and toys, as well as a pack n' play and high chair. Beach chairs, and toys are also kept in the unit. There is a king size bed in the bedroom, there are extra long size built in bunkbeds in the hallway, and a sleeper sofa. 2 bathrooms, one shower. a dinning table for 4, 2 barstool seats at the bar between the kitchen and living area, and outdoor seating for 3 on the balcony. WiFi is available in the condo.

There is parking on both an upper outdoor deck (non reserved spots) and in the lower parking garage (reserved spot). The parking in the garage is tight. We drove a mini van and did not have a problem, but it was easiest to back in the spot and be able to pull out face forward then to back out. If you drive a larger vehicle, such as a large truck or larger SUV, the parking on the upper deck would be sufficient.

Easy access to the elevator from the garage, and from the elevator to the condo - just steps away. Very easy access to both the outdoor pool and walkway to the beach. The pool and hot tub are open late until 11pm. Pool deck is furnished with lounge chairs, and table and chair sets. The walkway to the beach hosts very nice "shoe boxes" on the left of the rail, it is a great place to leave your shoes free from the sand while on the beach. There are several places to wash sand from your feet, and showers at the end of the walkway and before entering the pool.

The Windemere has a wonderful area where beach items such as sand toys, chairs, umbrellas, inflatable rafts, and boogie boards are recycled. What a great idea! There is an air pump located near this bin if you need to inflate anything. There is an outdoor grill area with seating.

It was simply perfect. Can't wait to return!

Excellent location great views of the gulf from the balcony easily accessible and close to grocery stores and restaurants will come back next year.

Quaint and quiet!

Another reviewer had said the furniture was dated. While that may be the case, I didn't drive 12 hours to admire the furniture (and it was still comfy!) We loved the convenience of being able to just walk down to the beach and the location is perfect as it's only a few minutes to Pensacola or Orange Beach. We were a little worried about noise with it being so close to the elevator, but there werent any issues and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!
