Location, location, location. This bright, modern studio is in the heart of UWS steps to shops, restaurants, Central Park, AMNH, subways and bus stops. Situated on a quiet tree lined block in a historic brownstone.
The studio apartment features 12.5 foot ceilings, exposed brick wall, bay windows and sunken living room. An airy sleeping loft provides much desired separation of the sleeping and living areas. Modern, simple furnishings and wall art complete the decor to create a clean, contemporary space.
The apartment is located on the parlor level right off of the main entrance. So even though there is no elevator, there are only 12 steps at the front of the building to access the apartment.
UWS is one of the most desirable residential neighborhoods in NY. Away from tourist traps like Time Square (yet only 1 subway stop away), it is within walking distance to some of NY's top cultural institutions like Lincoln Center and American Museum of Natural History. A short bus ride through the park, and you are at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Strawberry Fields and John Lennon memorial are a short walk away. Two blocks to Farmer's Sunday market in the summer and fall. Three grocery stores within 2 blocks. Endless dining options, movie theatres and more.

Four blocks to express "2" and "3" trains (1 stop to Time Square and 3 stops to Chelsea and Meatpacking district with night clubs and bars)
Four blocks to "B" and "C" trains.
Two blocks to cross-town buses which take you directly to the MET.

I may be biased, but I absolutely love this apartment. It is cute, cozy and in an amazing location. Pictures just don't do it justice. The kitchen and bathroom will be undergoing a gut renovation in February, so if you are staying at the property starting in March, it will be even nicer.
Kristina's apartment was perfect for my husband and me for a week in the summer. It's small, but cozy and has plenty of room for two people. The location is perfect -- easy walk (run for us) to Central Park or Riverside Park and right in the middle of great cafes, restaurants and shops. The market around the corner on Broadway was fantastic -- we saved a ton of money and really enjoyed ourselves having breakfast and sometimes other meals at "home." Kristina was great and very accommodating. The apartment was clean and the AC kept it cool, even though we turned it off during the day while we were out. The apartment was also fairly quiet unless a siren went by. Would definitely stay here again.
El departamento es acogedor y suficiente para una pareja. Cuando hemos estado siempre se estaba con una temperatura agradable, el agua caliente funciona perfectamente y la zona es muy tranquila.
Adolece minimamente de algunas cosas de menaje como tabla de cortar o alguna sartén más grande, pero si solo haces comida se subsistencia lo que hay en el departamento es más que suficiente.
Kristina siempre ha estado atenta a los correos o mensajes que la enviaba, tanto antes del viaje como durante la estancia. Tanto ella como su marido han hecho la llegada a New York y la estancia muy agradables. Gracias a ambos.
