Three bedroom, 2.5 bathrooms with sea views in exclusive residential complex,

This spacious detached villa sleeps 6 & is furnished to an extremely high standard. Downstairs the villa has a fully fitted kitchen - spacious lounge/dining area with French Doors opening onto the fully enclosed back garden and private heated (optional) pool. There is also a downstairs toilet, washbasin and storage cupboard. The lounge has satellite TV, home cinema system with surround sound. The fully landscaped garden is child friendly & has a private heated pool, patio area with dining table, chairs, a barbeque, sun loungers and a pergola for those who prefer the shade. The garden also has a two hole putting green ( putters and golf balls provided) and a basketball net. Upstairs are 3 large bedrooms - one double with ensuite, 2 twin rooms and a bathroom. Two rooms have French Doors opening onto a small 'Juliet' balcony and one has a sea view. All bedrooms are furnished to a very high standard. The spacious roof terrace has panoramic views of the sea, sand dunes, Los Lobos, Lanzarote & the mountains and has sun loungers so you can relax and soak in the year-round Canarian sunshine. The complex has a large communal pool. Beautiful beach 5 minute drive away. The villa also has a complimentary high speed WiFi internet connection.

About Jer

I live in Ireland but love the sunshine and year-round fine weather in Fuerteventura. Mary and I go out there as often as we can. We especially love the laid-back lifestyle in the Canaries. Ireland is a great place to live - people have a great outlook and it is friendly and welcoming but because you can have 4 seasons all in one day - even at the height of summer - it is nice to have an 'escape' for a few weeks for some guaranteed sun and sand

Casa Bonita is a spacious oasis where you can just sit back and relax. We especially love the enclosed back garden and pool. It is so peaceful and relaxing to spend a few hours reading or practicing those putting strokes on the 2-hole putting green. The views from the roof-top solarium are breath-taking. The Island is relatively small and the villa is an ideal location to head off on day trips over the mountains or you can reach the very southern tip of the Island in about 2 hours. The whole island is a water-sport paradise be it wind surfing, kite surfing, snorkeling, fishing etc.

Notes:
Our aim is to provide as many facilities as possible to ensure you have a relaxing, memorable holiday on this sun-drenched Island. The villa is provided with all the essentials to make you feel at home. There is a private, heated (optional) salt water pool in the fully landscaped garden. The kitchen has a toaster, kettle, sandwich maker, coffee maker and plentiful supply of crockery, cutlery, glasses, pots and pans. The views from the roof terrace/solarium are breath-taking, giving memorable views over the Parque Natural sand dunes, Lanzarote, Los Lobos and the Mountains of Fuerteventura. The latest attraction locally is a new 9 hole golf course which was opened to the public in June 09. This golf course is just a ten minute walk from the villa.

Spacious and well equipped.

The villa is in a peaceful location but is less than 0.5 miles from Mercadona, the largest supermarket in Corralejo. The property is clean and well-presented and catered for all our needs such that we didn't need to trouble the caretakers.

The double bed is very comfortable.

We ate twice at the Hotel Mahoh in Villaverde. The restaurant is charming and the food excellent at a surprising low price. For the outward bound types, there are 2 lovely walks from here, one to Lajares and one to Parque Holandes.

We would certainly recommend Casa Bonita for an excellent family holiday.

Great vacation !

Great house, big and well equipped. Garden also large (and sunny) enough for our two kids to play in as well as to have some time for yourself because it's a safe place to play, especially with the safety fence around the pool. All questions and the booking is handled swiftly by the owner. Thans for staying in your lovely house !

Great place for holiday certainly recommend,

A great house in a residential area. Everything you need on a holiday. I would have appreciated an oven glove and a wooden spoon as we ate most of the time in the house. Everything else you need was there. House very clean and well maintained. Certainly would return. The manager was very helpful. A car is certainly needed to get around. Fabulous island first visit but going back again this new year with more family. Recommend paying extra for heated pool in December. Thank you Selina Donaldson

Pleasant stay

We stayed at Casa Bonita from 11 December to 23 December 2013. Rented the car in the airport and arrived to Casa in about 30-40 mins. Getting there was quite easy with detailed description plan from the owner and some homework on Google Map. We rented villas before, so we can compare. The house was very clean and relatively new. No strange odours of any kind. The house sleeps 6 person and that's realistically maximum it can accommodate. The house is not the huge one but comfortable for the family, even a largish one. Bedrooms were not huge, but just adequate. One bedroom has LCD TV in the bedroom and needless to say that's exactly were my son decided to stay (he had a choice).

Internet desires to be better, but after some communication with the owner I understand steps will be taken to get this improved. I understand it is a common problem for Fuertevenura, where they largely depend on areal Wi-Fi rather than ADSL. We were very pleased with the level of communication with Jez, the owner of Casa Bonita. All our questions and enquiries were answered promptly both before we paid for the Casa and after we paid. There were no major issues during our stay requiring help or assistance. The sea was about 10 mins drive and at that time of the year it was only for walks along the sea coast. Although there were plenty of Kite surfers in the sea. The only negative thing that we experienced is some dog barking in the morning since the area is largely populated by local people.

Since the sea was cold at this time of the year we spent quite a lot of time near the heated swimming pool. At this time of the year there are plenty of sandstorms which can leave some sand at the bottom of the pool. So covering the pool when not used - is essential. Also the pool was regularly cleaned by Jim, who looks after the property together with his wife Lesley. They were very friendly and gave a lot of local knowledge and advice. Local restaurants and supermarkets provide good value for the money and I can recommend to visit the nearest restaurant to Casa - Bahiazul. It is about 5-7 mins walk from the house. We tried to eat in different restaurants in town. Unfortunately Spanish eat late and some of the restaurants do not open before 19:00 where as we preferred traditional British style of life and ate between 5 to 6 p.m. There are restaurants that are open at this time of day and our firm favourite La Tasca seems to be open at all times.

Owner's Response: Glad you enjoyed your stay in Casa Bonita. Internet in Fuerteventura is not as fast or reliable as in mainland Europe or UK. There was a particular fault with the wifi during your stay which caused connection to drop on a regular basis. This has now been remedied. So all good again.

Casa Bonita

Had a great time here, everything it's said to be. Close enough to town for all you want yet far enough away to be quite. Clean neat and tidy, stuff for the kids and a little luxury for us. Real glasses! Would consider booking again. Peak season Corralejo is still quite compared to some other resorts.

Corralejo is a lively holiday destination with a wide variety of shops, restaurants and bars. Originally a small picturesque fishing village, it still retains its atmosphere and charm. There are a number of sheltered sandy beaches just off the town centre or the beautiful expanses of Flag Beach just a couple of kilometres outside Corralejo provide plenty of choice for the committed sun-bather. Activities available locally include all kinds of water sport, fishing trips, boat trips, golf (championship course 35 minutes away), cycling, tennis and horse riding. The Baku Waterpark is a 20 minute walk from the villa, which in addition to the water slides includes a ten pin bowling alley, crazy golf and play area. The harbour area has a host of cafes and bars which are ideal to relax and watch the boats and ferries coming and going. Take a round-Island drive and experience the stunning scenery from the miles of sand dunes in the North to the stunning mountain scenery in the East.
