Luxurious 5 Bedroom, 3.5 Bathroom, 3,600 Sq.ft. Log Home On An Acre Of Land

Our Chalet is a superb custom built log home in a private and serene enclave.

It's contemporary interior design and unique architecture with high quality post and beam construction makes you feel warm and relaxed the minute you arrive. It has an open concept first floor, with 9+ ft ceilings, a fully equipped modern kitchen, breakfast counter, stainless steel appliances, plenty of cupboard space, new Keurig coffee maker, and place settings for 10+ people that will attract foodies and non-foodies alike.

The large dining room has a solid wood table that comfortably sits 10 people. The double living room is made up of hi-grade leather couches, love seats and arm chairs, a 55" new LED flat screen satellite TV on on side and a beautiful large natural stone wood burning fireplace on the other. The main floor alone has 19 very wide wood paneled windows that allow you to appreciate the surrounding nature and environment. Its two French doors will take you out onto the huge (51 ft in length) glass paneled wrap-around deck to enjoy moments of pure relaxation and outdoor living. The deck also has a brand new just installed large hot-tub where you can relax from a full day of skiing, hiking, biking or "Just Because". It has a BBQ with two propane tanks, a table with chairs and outdoor patio seating (summer only) with a large umbrella.

The upper floor houses three large bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The master bedroom is private yet massive (20.6x14.3 ft), with a beautiful balcony, a satellite TV and an en-suite with a soaker tub and double sinks. Another bedroom has a queen bed and the other has two twin beds. The main bathroom on this floor has a large glass-walled rain-head shower with double sinks. All bedrooms have ample built-in closet space.

The lower floor is an an above-ground finished basement with double French doors giving access to the one acre garden. It also includes a spacious recreation area with another large flat screen satellite TV, three comfortable couches and a professional Foosball table. On this floor you will also find two fully outfitted bedrooms, one has a queen bed with a satellite TV and the other has two twins. There is also a large bathroom with another large glass-walled rain-head shower with double sinks. All bedrooms have ample built-in closet space here as well. This floor is fully carpeted with berber and includes a washer and dryer room.

The home has an artesian well with water softener system for drinking water and a state of the art septic installation with Bionest wastewater treatment system. Exterior water piping is heated and protected against frost and the home comes with a central vacuum system if required.

The whole house is fully Wi-Fi enabled with high speed internet.

Our Chalet is the largest model and among the best location in the Côté Nord community as it is adjacent to the pool, tennis court and basketball court. It is also located directly behind the trail of the Grande Boucle Tremblant (enjoy snowshoeing and hiking from your doorstep).

About Avo Oudabachian

My wife and I are professionals with a young family and know what couples and families need and want when they are on vacation away from their normal routine. We live just North of Toronto, are well traveled and do appreciate the best that life has to offer (of course it needs to be in line with what we can afford. :-)). We grew up in Montreal and life took us around the world with my career in both consulting and hospitality, including Whistler, where I helped open a five star 400+ bedroom resort. But my wife and I always wanted to have a chalet in the East, either in Quebec or Vermont, where we always felt like home and Mont Tremblant has always had a special place for the both of us, from our childhood memories of taking a Sunday drive up to the mountains with our respective families in our large family vehicles of the 70's, to then growing up and driving up here ourselves as young adults with friends, in the same large cars that were handed down to us, to now being a citizen of this beautiful environment. Tremblant has a lot to offer with respect to its geography, its natural beauty, its proximity to a major metropolitan center but more importantly, its the warmth of its local people that made us choose to buy and live here when we are not sharing our family chalet with you.

What makes this chalet unique

We love our chalet. Being inside and living in a log home is very special. You really feel one with nature and you keep on looking around you all the time while you are in the chalet, admiring the round solid logs, the beautiful beams on the ceilings that are holding up the hardwood floors and the bedrooms above. Nothing is hidden, and its sheer beauty makes you feel alive yet very relaxed. We fell in love with this home the minute we drove up to it. We had seen it on a number of occasions and then it went on sale. The rest is history and I hope you feel the same way when you see it in person.

Great vacation house for larger group!

The house is very open and roomy. The deck is lovely and the hot tub is an added bones. The pool is right next door and there is a great little market less than 2 miles from the house. I would recommend this to any larger group looking to share a space.

Fantastic stay! As described!

Awesome wood chalet, super comfortable even in minus 30. Great host, responsive, provided us with what we needed. Had a wonderful stay here, in case you want to cook, the stove is great, and tons of cookware is provided, as well as spices. We made good use of the hot tub, and it was ready to go when we got there! Overall a wonderful stay, close to skiing, will be back

We have always thought having all the spices one needs to cook a fine meal should be a given when renting such homes, but based on our rental experiences around the world with VRBO and HomeAway (we do love the platform), that's not necessarily the case for some reason, but we wanted to have that for our guests. Our kitchen does provide you with all the accouterments one would need to cook a fine meal...or just a bowl of cereal and we love it when things get used. As we say when you are their..... "Our Chalet is your Chalet". Look forward to seeing you and the family again soon.

Lovely, spacious house nestled in a beautiful location in the woods

We had a wonderful stay here at this Log Chalet. Avo, our host, was thoughtful and extremely helpful, both in advance of our stay in terms of answering any questions and following our departure, making sure that everything was to our liking. The house was in a gorgeous location in the woods, private but easily accessible and large enough to accommodate our three families easily. The rooms were lovely, spacious and very tastefully decorated and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything that one might need. The hot tub on the deck was clean and most welcome after skiing on the slopes all day -- we would have liked to have it a little hotter though. The general store nearby was also very convenient with a good selection. I would highly recommend this wonderful home as a great place to get away from it all.

We do keep the Hot Tub at 100 degrees but you can take it up to 104 degrees with that sophisticated push button display on the hot tub. We will know for next time you come back, and have it cranked up a bit more for you all. Saying that, anything over 104 is not recommended. Fantastic stay

What a beautiful chalet! The pictures hardly do it justice and the chalet is very large with an open concept main floor and is very well equipped with everything needed to prepare a gourmet meal after a day of skiing or just relaxing by the stone woodburning fireplace. The outdoor spa is new and very private overlooking the forest.

We really enjoyed the location which is very quiet only a few kms from the north side of Tremblant which enables you to self park and be on the chair lift in minutes. You can also continue along the same road a few kms longer to get to the South/village side. Mont blanc is also very close by.

Amazing weekend!

We rented the chalet for a girl's weekend, and had the most amazing time! The house was superbly clean and well maintained. Beds and sleeping accommodations were very clean and comfortable, fireplace amazing and the hot tub was such a treat. Avo was a friendly, helpful host and clearly answered all of our questions without delay. Definitely recommend this chalet for a fun, relaxing, luxurious weekend away in the woods!

We bought our post & beam log "Chalet" as we were always coming here to ski in the winter and hike/bike/play golf/fish and of course relax in the summer. We realized we were spending a lot of time in Mont Tremblant and its environs, in particular its North side (Versant Nord) due to its excellent express lift with skin-in, ski-out from the parking lot, free parking, less crowds for skiing not to mention the calm Lac (lake) Superieur, the beautiful scenery (all year long) and the driving roads where Porsche conducts their Global Client Driving Experience excursions.

We decided it was the right thing to do when we saw the Chalet we wanted come up for sale in the Private Côté Nord community. The community and our Chalet are located in Laurentian forest, on the edge of beautiful Lac Supérieur, on over an acre of land to make sure you have privacy. We also realized after renting out different Chalets in this community, that we had access to a huge natural playground just minutes from the exciting Mont Tremblant resort as well as the Parc National du Mont Tremblant right at our doorstep.

The residents and renters of the Chalets also have private and exclusive access to beautiful Lac Supérieur with a 17,000 sq.ft. dedicated park area where you, your partner, your friends and/or family can enjoy the dock,the picnic area, the 10 canoes and kayaks as well the fire pit. It is 1KM or .6 mile walk from the chalet and there is private parking there for you to leave your car, grab your swimsuit and make your way to the beach. All season long, it is the perfect place to enjoy the spectacular views of the lake and surrounding mountains.

Again, we are less than 8 km/5 miles and 10 minutes from Tremblant ski slopes (North side, free parking directly on the slopes, ski-in, ski-out) and Mont-Tremblant National Park, and less than 20 km/12 miles from the World class Mont-Tremblant resort village, golf and casino.
