Great time with good friends

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time, the Owner Angelina is wonderful, she treats her guest as if they are family and makes sure you have the best time possible. You will not be disappointed, the house is spotless and so private, we used the kayaks had a fire every night. We had 7 adults, cooked all our meals in the large kitchen its the perfect house for friends and families to enjoy each others company. This was a scalloping trip and we had a great time, thank you Angelina, you are a wonderful host.

Where do you live?

Wonderful Get-away Location

  • 4 of 5

We stayed here for a quick get-away vacation from Orlando. We had no young children, but we and our adult kids had a great time. The living area was spacious and gave us plenty of room to chill. We also loved the well-stocked kitchen with enough room for many cooks, and the screened-in porch. But the highlight to us was having the river at the back door with kayaks and a boat to explore the cool clear water. We took them out every day and even did some Geocaching out on the water. A neighbor just a bit down the river has emus, tons of ducks and big pig. What a surprise! The owner was very responsive and went out of her way to make our stay a success.

Fun family vacation house!

  • 4 of 5

Nice and private location. We enjoyed the kayaks and the firepit and being surrounded by nature. The house was very pleasant and we had plenty of room to sit and roam around the large kitchen while we fixed a meal and chatted. The house was clean and our contact was very pleasant and let us know we could check in early as it was ready a couple of hours ahead of time. The pool table was a plus for our house full of eight. I would stay here again.

Great spot.

  • 5 of 5

Loved it! We had two families, 4 adults and 5 children. There was more than enough room for all of us.The kids loved the kayaks and the pool table. House was well equipped and had everything we needed. We ate most meals at home and cooked on the grill nightly.

Angela was very accommodating and responsive. She gave us some great information about the area including a lesser used boat ramp which made our daily scallop excursions much easier. There was plenty of room to park the boat in the yard without having to unhook it from the car.

We can't wait for next year and this will be our 1st choice of where to stay.

Perfect for Scalloping

  • 5 of 5

This house was perfect for two families. it was just minutes from the boat rentals and a Publix grocery store. If you don't feel like cooking there are several restaurants close by. The home owner provides kayaks for really neat adventures around the home waterways. The house has plenty of shade for just sitting around in the afternoon and just relaxing. Now I would not suggest bring a boat to the house by water unless it is under 15 feet. But if you have something larger still there is no problem (on a trailer) with plenty of parking room. I would say you could park up to 28' T top on the unused road towards the abandoned house. Honestly we only stayed 4 days and wished we stayed 10. So relaxing and enjoyable!!! Thanks Angelina your place ROCKS and we will be back next year!!!

The house had everything that we needed plus more!

  • 5 of 5

Eight of us stayed here for our family vacation. The house had plenty of room for all of us. It is a very comfortable house. Felt like home. We enjoyed using the kayaks daily, though we didn't find the beach. We will on the next trip, fun to explore. Had more than what we needed in the kitchen. Supplied well! Location was great we were very close to everything! Back porch is large and we spent the evenings out there. We went in July so it is hot, but we had a fire one night in the fire pit. We had to have our s'mores! When we first got there we had a few questions. We sent a text and she was very fast in getting back to us with the answers. She even called to make sure everything was ok. She was such a good person to work with from the booking to the check out. Very helpful with information about the town. We look forward to our next trip there!
