Speightstown is also known as Little Bristol due to its historical trade links with the port of Bristol in England. The properties are tiled throughout with Italian porcelain tiles. Naturally stained cedar wood is used on the French doors leading to the terraces, where there is room for a dining table or sun loungers. All bedrooms are air conditioned and master bedrooms include en suite bathrooms with marble top vanities, baths and showers.

The apartment was at the north end of Speightstown - quiet beach was just across the road. Convenient for us to take our children into water and play with sand. It was walking distance to shops and restaurants of Speightstown. And walking distance to Heywoods beach. We stayed for about 12 days and the housekeeper came twice a week - this was helpful.
Apartment has an allocated car park space and it was perfect to park the car we had hired. On most days we did half day/ full day excursions to other beaches and attractions. Mullins beach and Folkstone beach were both under 15 min drive. Bridgetown and other farthest attractions were max 45min away.
Apartment had washer, dryer and fully fitted kitchen - which was perfect as we were staying for over 10 days. Wifi worked and children found boomerang/disney channels on TV to watch occasionally.
Property manager was friendly and easily reachable for questions.
One of the drawbacks of this apartment for families travelling with young children is that one of the bedrooms is on ground floor and the other on the first floor. It is perfect for families with older children or adults only groups.
