523 3rd Avenue North is a truly one of a kind beach compound. The property sits 4 blocks from Jacksonville Beach and boasts, quite possibly, the most private, yet unique setting of any home in the area. The main home and guest quarters have undergone a complete renovation and is now available for your family to enjoy.
The main home 1st floor has 3 large BR's, 2.5 BR's, large kitchen, Dining Room, Living Room and Breakfast Room.
As you approach the home you will park in a nicely designed parking court just off the street with paver walkway to front porch and main entry. Off the Breakfast Room is a private morning patio. As well, there is a larger main patio off the Living Room French doors with grille and dining.
The Master suite has a king bed and additional seating on the porch along with writing desk and sitting area for private time. The Master Bathroom has a dual vanity sink and a dual head luxury shower with private barn-door access.
The main guest bath is well appointed and boast designer touches as well.
The Guest Bedroom-1 for kids has 2 full beds and TV with ample closet space and storage. Our furniture is locally designed and built just a few blocks away and represents our vision of fun beach living.
The Guest Bedroom-2 is a Queen suite with decorative armoire and closet for a retreat that sleeps 2.
The main Living area a state of the art home theatre setup as well as great seating, sofa, ( sleeper for 2) and most of the first floor is our "West Elm" inspired design. Our Dining Room is a great place for a more formal dinner while our breakfast area just off the rear of the Kitchen provides a great informal space fir kids, playing cards or board, games or just enjoying that first cup of coffee as the morning shines in.
The first floor Powder Bathroom is cleverly tucked away under the stair area but centrally located for everyone in the home.
Our main Kitchen has Architectural Series Kitchen-Aid appliances and is a real florida design with white cabinets, glass backsplashes and great stone flooring.
As you step out the Living Room French doors to the inviting rear yard you will step onto the main entertainment patio, with grille and seating for gatherings as well, you will have a sense of privacy, with full fencing and lush landscaping. A paver walkway takes you to the Studio that is a one of a kind. Full kitchen, bedroom, living area, bathroom and totally private outdoor entertainment area with its own accommodations that are all done in an Industrial theme that is truly unique. A private parking area for the Studio guests is also accessible from the alley-way that runs behind all the homes in the beaches area.

As a family business, we purchased this home as it reminded us of qualities that are "Old-Florida" beach in many ways. The Master sitting area-porch, the outside entertainment areas, the uniqueness of converting the old workshop into a state of the art Studio are just a few of the attractions we have with our home.
We enjoy taking on the challenges of a renovation that many other just pass on. We see it as an investment in the neighborhood that benefits everyone. We have opened our doors to past family members that actually grew up in the home and they shared wonderful beach stories from nearly 50 years ago.
Those stories are evident when you get out and walk the shops, restaurants, parks etc... and see what the area is all about. We have had great experiences with the area church leaders, neighbors and business owners. We hire local service providers and they too, share their experiences with us in a manner that they want to help and truly take care of these special areas.
We have seen great growth from Jacksonville Beach, north, to Atlantic Beach, all accomplished with controlled, sustainable growth in the forefront of the planners and developers.
We are proud to call Jacksonville Beach home to Escapes-523.
We chose this property because it fit our goals for identifying unique, architecturally impressive design, for homes that we think represent the beach. It's not just another home on the block. We love our old wood floors just stained and finished and left old-school to remind us of the years this old-house has been in service.
We love our unique private spaces, fenced yard, outdoor showers, and so much more, that just suits a beach lifestyle.
Our group was thrilled with Sean (property mgr) and his fantastic property. The house was stocked with everything travelers would need. (water & pop in fridge. K-cups. Etc) We were in town for a wedding at the Casa Marina Hotel which was very close to the house. With food and night life within walking distance, we didnt need to drive very much at all. I would 100% recomend this to friends and rent it again if visiting JAX Beach.
Also, the breakfast biscuit joint a couple blocks away was delicious.
The house is beautiful and very accommodating! The check in and out process was as simple as could be which allows you to enjoy your time as soon as you arrive. It is located in a super convenient spot within a short walk from the beach, restaraunts and stores. The house is also stocked with everything you need! Just yourself, clothes and food if you plan on cooking! Great stay
The property was even more then we asked for. The main house is beautiful, and the studio in the back was a dream. The short walk to the beach was relaxing. The property manager was helpful and assisted with all questions that we had. We will definitely be staying here again and recommending the house to all our friends.
House is as advertised. The inside of the house looks nicer than the pics. Would definitely recommend and would rent the house again.
This property was more impressive than any stay my family and I have experienced. The home had everything needed allowing my family and I to completely relax and enjoy the beautiful FL weather. We will most definitely be in contact with the wonderful Sean Fleming in the future.
